Listening to Drago and her other friends, the emotion she had been trying so hard to hold back came out as a flood. She looks down, her shoulders shake as tears stream down her face. "I...I'm sorry...." While she stops her shoulders from shaking, she can't stop the steady stream of tears that seem to fall of their own accord, "I...I never meant it that way...just...just that I don't want anyone getting hurt...because...because of me. I'm only pregnant, not broken."
She quiets herself for a moment and takes a few deep breaths to try and get her feelings under control. Wiping her face with a napkin she sniffles as she looks up at her friends, her family. Trying her best to smile she says, "I...I understand what you're saying. I'll be okay though...I...I think I need to go for a walk."
"I'll go with you," the gnome says to Arista. She gives the aasimar a knowing look.
Sādhanā smiles warmly at Arista. "There's no doubt in any of our minds that you can handle yourself sweetie. You're one of the best warriors I've ever fought alongside. But remember that as you said, we're family, and family looks out for each other. She knows that we will protect each other and trusts us with your safety and you with ours."
She nods quietly while blushing at Sadhana's statement. She smiles at Sadhana, then looking at Ylrhea she says, "But what about your dinner?"
"I'm alright," Ylrhea says, pushing her plate away.

She nods and stands, "If you'll excuse us please, I need to get some air. We'll be back later." With that she gets up from her seat and heads outside with Ylrhea.
Ylrhea walks beside Arista, taking in the town. Another new place, this is what keeps me going.
She turns to the aasimar. "I guess it's a little scary being away from home and finding out you're going to have a baby. I know you're strong. You were strong enough to pull me out of the depression I was feeling. But we're with you, when you're beating up so-called gods and when you're scared. Bad or good, you've got us, Arista."

Arista stops in her tracks and takes Ylrhea into a hug, "Thank you, thank you so much."

She stands up and wipes her eyes, "Let's go see what kind of shops they have. Spending money always seems to cheer me up."
Arista and Ylrhea wander for a bit, finding a tailor, a general merchant and a blacksmith.
Sienna leans back and turns to Cyna. "So what should we expect from this Jahlrem?"

"He's got a magic orb, I believe it's what allows him to control elemental's. He's not afraid to get his own hands dirty though. He's used poison and blade to kill before." Cyna answers recalling her time on Rando's ship.
Sienna frowns. "So...we get that orb away from him and that's half the battle there."

Cyna nods. "It'll help, a lot. But I imagine he wont be that willing to part with it. Got any ideas?"
"He'll have backup. But we can blast the living daylights outta him or I can distract him with a spell," Sienna muses.

"Perhaps I can help with that. I do have some abilities that can render some an individual invisible. I'm thinking possibly make Ylrhea as such, and perhaps she can snatch it off of him."
"If we can get it from him intact I might be able to take control of it, like I,did with the necro-orb when we fought Straub, that would be a big help. Or maybe Drago might have some insight there once we get it out of his hands."
"Ylrhea's not a Klepty McSnatchngrab," Sienna notes. "I mean, she's not the pickpocketing type."

"It's a good idea though, and invisibility can be useful. There's more that one way to take something from someone. If he needs to hold it to use it, taking the hand with it could be just as effective." Sādhanā says without a hint of irony.
"That...she can do," Sienna says grimly.
"Yeah, she's a tough cookie. I definitely wouldn't want to be on her bad side and have her standing behind me." Sādhanā replies as she enjoys the meal.
"She is," Sienna says, finishing her water. "But she has to let go of some things...she hates being in one place for too long. She's...flighty."

"I used to be like that. It's actually a major part of the reason I chose to come to Zahvroma. Then I found a home." Sādhanā says, thoughts of Clara bringing a smile to her face. "We all find something or someone that fills that emptiness we're running from even whe we don't realize we were running." she continues, smiling at Sienna and Cyna.
"Give her time and she'll find her home as well."
"I'm sure she will," Sienna smiles. "Arista's given her hope. She just needs someone who will understand her."

Cyna laughs. "Can you imagine the look we'd get if she knew we were talking about her love life again?"
"It's not like we're saying anything that is hurtful or untrue. She deserves a good person. Of course, she has odd taste. No offense, Drago," Sienna laughs. "She likes mysterious people, but they tend to hurt her."
"Probably not a good one." Sādhanā responds with a grin "But she's going to have to get used to the idea of people caring about her."
"Arista's done wonders on that end," Sienna sighs.
"Yeah, she really has. It's good to see her able to laugh and smile."
Sienna nods. "Wherever did you stumble upon Arista anyway? She's not from around here, is she?"
"More like whenever..."
"Oh?"
"She was trapped in one of the shards we destroyed, when it fell. 500 years ago." Sādhanā says shaking her head. "That's why this fight is personal for her. We're looking to complete something she started as practically a kid. Hell she's been fighting for Sarenrae so long is it any wonder the goddess delivered the good news herself?"
"Oh, Hells!" Sienna exclaims. "Does she remember being trapped?"
"I think she remembers the event but not the actual duration of her imprisonment. She was pretty confused when she appeared." Cyna answers.
"I thought she might have a clue as to what these shards really are," Sienna sighs. "It seems like we're doing the right and wrong thing at the same time."
The ranger nods. "It's like two great powers are stalemated with each other. But we can't leave either just lying around, no matter how hard it'll be to deal with."
"I officially hate ancient evils," Sienna pouts.
Cyna takes a sip of her water. "They'll feel the same about us soon enough." She says with a wink.
"No one could hate you...you're too cute."
"You two are adorable." Sādhanā says with a laugh.
Cyna blushes and shakes her head. "Let's see what these dwarves have for equipment. Maybe we can work out a trading agreement between Valwick and here after we bleed Jitty."
Sienna smirks. "It's love. How are you holding up, Sadhana? I know you didn't get to spend a lot of time with Clara before leaving."
A friendly but concerned look crosses her face.
"That's a good idea, we can secure the route on our way back." Sādhanā replies, grinning at the ranger's change of subject.
"Fine...gear it is then."
Johann looks to the three women. "We'll get settled while you're out."
The goblin leads his family upstairs.

Arista and Ylrhea wander for a bit, finding a tailor, a general merchant and a blacksmith.
Wondering through the town, Arista spots the Tailor shop right off the bat. Looking at Ylrhea she smiles, "Let's go check them out...I know they are used to Dwarven sizes, but surely they can make other things as well...and...Johann really helped us out. I'd like to do something nice for his family...like get them actual clothes."
She walks into the tailor shop and makes her way to the counter, "Excuse me, but I was wondering if you could help me with something?"
Ylrhea nods at Arista. "You like doing nice things for people, don't you?"
The tailor shop, whose sign reads "Hafnir's Finery", is a small affair. A gray-haired man stands at the low counter, which comes to Arista's shin. He pulls a pipe from his lips and smiles at the two customers. "Aye, what kin I do fer ye?"
Looking at Ylrhea she nods as she smiles, "I just feel that it's the right thing to do. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it is to walk around in those makeshift garments. That's why I wanted to get them something better."
Arista smiles back at the Dwarf, "I was hoping you could help me out. I was wondering if I gave you some sizes, could you make some outfits for me? They will have to be warm as well....and durable for travel. I would need a large long sleeve shirt and thick hide, or leather breeches for a human adult male. I would need a small long sleeve shirt and skirt/breeches, or a long sleeve warm dress with cloak for an adult human female; a long sleeve shirt and breeches for a medium sized teenage male human, and a warm shirt and breeches that could fit....a male of her size." She indicates Ylrhea as she tries to describe the smaller size that she needs.
She starts sorting through her belt pouch, "I know it's alot to ask, but it's for a worthy cause. I'm not sure exactly how long we'll be in town, but I'm thinking until tomorrow afternoon at the least. If you could have all these things ready by then, I would really be grateful to you." She pulls out the Platinum piece and hands it to him. If you need more than this, just let me know.
