Rajni
Rajni's shoulders slump slightly as she watches Toni walk out of the house. She was sad that she had upset her, she didn't mean to...but she always had this way of saying the wrong thing, at the wrong time. She knew Toni wanted to be alone, she understood how it felt to be taken away from everything you know and find yourself somewhere completely foreign and unfamiliar. She would always try to be there for her friend...but there were some things she just couldn't help her with and she had a feeling that this was one of those things.
Tesia Stormbringer
She looks from Rhy to Sadhana and then back at the newcomer, "Oh...well, we're part of her companions. Except for that guy...unless he's coming with us....which....seeing as how we're about to lose some people due to personal issues...probably wouldn't be the worst idea ever. It's just strange that you would show up right when we're about to lose some of our people. I...but this should be up to Sadhana...since I guess you're Anizari as well? I'm sorry...I just feel a little....like this is all over my head right now and it's cold out here." She looks at Sadhana, "Maybe we should go somewhere less cold to talk? Where's Ylrhea and Celia by the way? I couldn't understand why you were out here fighting with this person and even less so why you were alone...it just...it added to the confusion."
Tesia Stormbringer
Shaking her head to clear it slightly she looks down at him, "Oh..yes sorry." She says as she stops standing over him and backs off a little towards her wife.
Arista Milocathe
Sensing her fear and trepidation at telling her family the news she takes her sister's hand and leads her over to the bed. Sitting down on the edge of it with her she puts a comforting arm around her shoulders, "He's your father, and he loves you. He will be happy for you because he'll see how happy you are. I wish....I wish my family could be here with me. In a way....I have more now than I ever did before...but it doesn't stop me from missing them sometimes. Don't be afraid to talk to them, you're very lucky that you have them...don't ever take that for granted okay?" Wiping her eyes she says, "I'll tell ya what, when you're ready to talk to them...I'll go with you. Okay?"
Alethiro Milocathe
With his daughter in his arms, Alethiro went to Celine's room, taking care not to listen in on the conversation his wife and sister were having. In the room, he set her down on the bed, retrieved her toys and sat next to her. "Which one do you want?"
Ammon Safar
Getting up and retrieving his shield, he looked at the Half-Elf, "Thank you. I understand you were protecting a friend, and that is very admirable. But I will need to talk to her at some point later, I will need to talk to Sādhanā. But that can be accomplished as you say in a warmer place."
Tesia Stormbringer
She sighs and rubs her temple, "We all need to talk to her apparently, so you'll just have to come with us and I guess we're having a meeting now....just not out here in the damn snow." She says as she wraps her cloak about her a little more tightly.
Alethiro Milocathe
"Bear it is," Alethiro said. But now he wasn't sure what to do. Picking her up with Mr. Bear, the Elf headed back to the dining room, set Celine on the floor, and cleaned up the dishes.
Drago Zakharov
"Do you need me here right now? I'd like to bring Tarja back and try talking to her. If that's alright?"
Yulia Stane
"It's quiet," Yulia says as Zeph leaves the cafe. "Go do what you need to. I'll give it a few hours before I decide whether to stay open or close up for the day."
Tesia Stormbringer
She looks at Sadhana, "Should we get Celia and Ylrhea first? They'll need to hear this too. Oh geez....so much stuff....Sadhana? What do you want to do?" She asks as she's unsure of what Sadhana would want to do first, though they really should get out of the cold before they all ended up sick.
Celia Ashimel.
Asha nods and leads Celia to a dressing room. "Right here."
"Thank you." Celia says taking the clothes in and trying them on, popping out to get a second opinion from Ylrhea.
Sādhanā
Between the sound of the wind and snow swirling around her, the sound of the blood pounding in her ears, and the rush of adrenaline through her body...it takes the druidess a moment to realize that Sadhana was saying something. While still maintaining her pose over the cat man person, she slows her breathing and allows herself to slowly calm down. As she calms herself the winds die down and sparks between her fingers dissipate. Turning her head to look at Sadhana she says, "If he isn't attacking you, then what in the hells is going on and why are you doing it out in the cold where you can get sick?" She asks as she rests one of her hands on her hip.
Having suddenly been knocked off the beam, Ammon was shaking to cobwebs loose and a giant cheetah pinned him to the ground. Not making a move, he very calmly answered, "My name is Ammon, and I was training her on the finer points of shield usage."
She lowers her arm and puts her other hand on her hips while she stares down at him, "In the middle of a snowstorm? Are you out of your damn head? She could get sick, you could get sick. What the hell is wrong with you? How bout this...the next time you feel like strutting around like a peacock, maybe you should do it somewhere a little warmer? Like inside for instance. Don't think the fact that she wasn't using any magic escaped my attention either. How can you expect to teach her how to use that shield to the maximum of her capacity if you don't allow her to use her full capacity in training. She has to learn how to be able to cast while holding it as well, like I do." Looking up at Sadhana she asks, "And what is the problem with people communicating things around here by the way? Why couldn't you just tell us that you were gonna be training with furball here and then I wouldn't have reacted that way when I saw it." She looks down at Ammon, "No offense...but all this just caught me off guard and I'm pissed right now. You may not have really been fighting her, but your idea of training could have put her at risk to get seriously sick and I don't take kindly to people putting my friends at risk. Are we clear?" She asks as she looks between Ammon and Sadhana. Suddenly remembering her own bit of information that she needed to share she looks at Sadhana, "We also have other issues that need to be discussed. It's about the ley lines...they're....off." She says matter of factly as she tries to calm down. Why did people keep insisting on doing things that put themselves at risk?
Before Magestreia shows up
Sādhanā suppresses a smile as Tesia slips into her self-appointed team mother role, one she filled rather well. She definitely learned well from her father if anything she’d heard about the new head of the Green Circle was true.”We’d arranged this yesterday Tesia and honestly, while the snow makes it more difficult, it’s worth the practice. I don’t doubt we’ll be travelling and fighting again long before winter ends.” the magus says jumping down from the beam. Looking up at Rhadaya she grins. ”You can stand down Rhadaya, Ammon isn’t a hostile.”
Then
A pale Anizari seemingly steps out of the falling snow, her ice blue tattoos giving her a menacingly look. She looks to Sadhana. "Bladebearer...Sadhana, I presume."
She sighs and just drops her arms completely from her hips, "I give up...who...what...Sadhana?" She stumbles over her words, feeling at a complete loss as to what is happening now.
Magestreia narrows her eyes and directs her attention to Tesia. "Are you friends of Sadhana's? I wasn't told about you."
She nods, "She has a lot of friends here. People that love her, and care about her....even if she doesn't always tell them that she's training with someone they've never met before....we don't know you either. Who...who are you?" She doesn't sound afraid, but just curious and confused
"My name is Magestreia," the Anizari answers. "I was sent to see about helping Sadhana and her companions with the troubles in these lands."
”Well I’m pleased to meet you Magestreia, we can definitely use the help, though I have to ask, sent by who, exactly?” the magus asks.
”They’re shopping for warmer clothes for Celia.” Sādhanā replies. As she turns toward Ammon, he politely asks Tesia to let him up. She puts a hand on Tesia’s shoulder. ”It’s all right it’s clearly a little chaotic…..and than you two for having my back.” she says with a smile at Tesia and Rhadaya.
”Well Magestreia, I’ll be happy to hear you out, though it would definitely be better indoors. And Ammon, you’re welcome to join us. You’re clearly a capable warrior and that’s definitely something we need in defense of this place and the people here.” she continues.
Tesia Stormbringer
She sighs, "Practice is all well and good, but you won't be able to help anyone If you end up getting sick. I'm sorry if I overreacted, but honestly...after everything we've been through I wasn't willing to risk it." Thinking for a moment she looks at Sadhana, "Our place is right down the street from Asha and Priya's....so if you want to check on them at the shop and then meet us at our place with Ammon and Magestreia I can put a kettle on for some hot tea or make some coffee to warm all of us up?" She asks as she thinks a quiet place would be better suited for their discussion.
Tesia Stormbringer
"I mean...we can take Magestreia and Ammon with us, and you can meet us there with Ylrhea and Celia once she's gotten the things she needs." She clarifies.
Sādhanā
"That works, we can update everyone else later. An I promise once everything's done I'll go home and have a nice hot bath and not get sic okay?" Sādhanā replies with a grin.
Magestreia
"Who I was sent by is something we should discuss in private," Magestreia answers. "Or we can not discuss it all and I can tell you that she is someone who desires peace."
Tesia Stormbringer
Looking at Sadhana she gives her a slight smirk, "You better. Alright, I'll let you off the hook this time young lady, but I better never find you out in this weather, doing something like that, without the proper attire again. Got it?" Feeling satisfied that she had made her point she turns to the new Anizari and Ammon, "If you two would come with Rhy and I, Sadhana and the others can join us in a moment. Magestreia, I promise that whatever you tell us will be in private and won't go beyond our core group. You can wait till Ammon has concluded his business with Sadhana and leaves before you tell us, if it suits you. Besides....if you come in peace with a true desire to help...it doesn't really matter who sent you right?" Giving the woman a smile as she rubs her arms she asks, "Can we please go back to our place now? It's warm there and I'll put the kettle on for some nice tea. Maybe make all of us some sandwiches?"
Sādhanā
"Alright. That part in private then." the magus says with a nod. "I'll meet with you soon, you can trust Tesia and Rhadaya."
Tesia Stormbringer
She nods, "Okay, just follow us then and I'll get started on lunch as soon as we get back to the house. You too Ammon." She says as she gestures for them to follow her and Rhy back to the house. She slips an arm around Rhy's waist as they head home.
Tesia Stormbringer
Getting back to the house, she immediately starts up the fire in the stove to warm the house and fills up the kettle and sets it on the stove to heat. Looking at their guests she says, "Just make yourselves comfortable. The washroom is upstairs if you need it." Going to the cold box she takes out some different meats and cheeses and puts some different kinds of sandwiches together with lettuce and tomatoe. She sets out pickles if anyone wants some and then peels and slices some potatoes to fry up to have with the sandwiches.

Magestreia
2 people marked this as a favorite.
Magestreia sits on the couch and waits patiently. Much of non-dragon society was foreign to her and she wanted very much to not seem like an outsider. It was important to her mother, therefore equally important to her.
Sādhanā
Sādhanā gathers her gear and heads towards the tailor shop. This day was turning out to be far more eventful than she expected. It would be interesting hearing Magestreia's story. She noted that the cold weather didn't seem to have much of an effect on her.
Ammon Safar
After already making a not-so-good first impression, Ammon slung his shield over his shoulder and followed the women to their home as ordered. Taking a seat with his back to the wall, and in clear view of the door, the former Mercenary waited.
