Aliethia nods. "Sure. I'll share them with the family."
"You're doing plenty coordinating this wedding with my parents," Aliethia says.
Aliethia shrugs. "It's about finding the time."
Aliethia tucks Celine into bed as she finishes her lullaby and then goes back to the kitchen. "She's out like a light."
Aliethia finishes eating and washes her hands face before taking Celine from Theon. As she walks back to the toddler's room, she begins singing a soft elven lullaby for her niece.
Aliethia laughs. "Okay, Celine. Let me finish my food and then I'll sing for you."
Aliethia tries a few bites. "If this is what you're making for the wedding, it'll be a smashing success."
"Oh, may I have some, Arista?" Aliethia asks. "If it's no trouble, of course. I know you're busy with the cookies and all."
Aliethia walks back into the kitchen. "Ally said he was going to head to bed, Arista. Something sure smells good."
"Let me go see Ally real quick and I'll be back," Aliethia says, going to the living room.

"Tired," Aliethia sighs, returning the hug. "No need to apologize."
Aliethia gives Divitia a peck on the cheek. "That's very sweet of you. Is my brother around, Arista?"
"And I am Aliethia, Alethiro's sister. I work at the Temple."
"For that, I am truly grateful."
"I brought Esmerelda and Divitia with me," Aliethia says, stepping inside with her fianceé and her soon to be sister-in-law.
Aliethia raps on Arista's back door.
"Any time," Aliethia says. "You're my sis."
Aliethia walks Arista to the door. "Right. We'll make him feel like part of the family."
"No, no, I'll be there at two," Aliethia says. "Maybe I can drag Div with me."
Aliethia nods. "I'll try to be up by then."

"I still haven't mastered the art of getting up before sundown."
Aliethia sighs. "Div is lucky because she's at work most of the time...I live here. I can't escape them."
"Anything that will distract them for a while," Aliethia says, taking her sister's arm and leading her to the kitchen.
"Coping with being pregnant, though I'm sure I haven't gone through what you've been through," Aliethia says. "Father and Marla have been rather...annoying about planning for the wedding."

"The spirit of winter will bring you a damn good beating if you keep being such a grouch about it," Aliethia says, walking out of the kitchen.
"Okay, I'll let Ulli know," Aliethia says. "Go get some sleep."

We have two time periods going on at once...
Aliethia looks up from her cleaning as Arista enters. "You look tired. Is something wrong? Is Ally being a jerk again?"
Aliethia gives Elsa a hug. "Try to write us once in a while."

"A pretty blue one with gold trim and a sturdy fishing rod," Aliethia adds. "Right, Father?"
"Yes, she would be pretty mad about it," Aliethia says, returning the hug. "I better see if your brothers are around."
She heads to the other bedroom. "Queten! Marcus! Elsa's leaving."

"Oh, hush, Father," Aliethia says. "You're happy about it and Divitia and I know it. I'm sorry you won't be here for the wedding, Elsa..."
Aliethia walks into the front room. "He just doesn't like having his family broken up."
The dhampir yawns, staying out of the light filtering through the window. "I really need my own place, Father. These walls are paper thin."
"Of course," Aliethia says, getting the door. She follows Arista back to the main room. "I'm off everyone, have a good night."
She gives Alethiro a hug and waves at Celine before going out the door.
"We usually take what she says with a grain of salt," Aliethia says. "She was raised differently. Not that I'm saying it was a bad upbringing...just different."
Aliethia chuckles. "Talk to Marla when you get a chance. She's a pretty good cook and can give you a hand."
"I'm pretty sure we're having it here," Aliethia says. "I'll be sure to remind you, though."
"They know. They're excited," Aliethia answers with a smile. "I think Father's just relieved that the wedding is happening before the baby arrives."
"Oh, it'll be small, maybe fifteen people at the most," Aliethia says. "And that all sounds wonderful."
"On the 14th," Aliethia says. "So...eight days. I think Divi and I would like chicken for the main dish, maybe some vegetables. Umm...I guess we can have some sort of soup or stew too since it's cold out."
"Come on in," Aliethia says. "I'm just getting ready for the night service."
Aliethia nods and heads off to find Divitia.
Aliethia smiles and finishes her tea as well. "I better get going."
Aliethia beams. "It should be fairly small, I think. As soon as I get an exact number, I'll let you know. I'll probably get the cake from Hadrinn's."
"Well...I do love your cooking and, if it's not too much trouble, would you mind handling the reception?" Aliethia asks.
Aliethia nods. "I don't know if I'll think of anything. Well...there is one thing..."
Aliethia giggles and sips her tea.
Aliethia laughs. "You were such an attention monger, Ally."
