Still here, just can't act.
You're not paralyzed anymore...

"Phew! That was not fun! Those things hurt!"
Kristen offers charges from her wand of cure light wounds to any who are injured.

![]() |

"Kristen, I could definitely use the healing, but from my recollection the poison of these creatures is difficult to penetrate. If you don't mind using your wand, I would greatly appreciate it. I just don't know if you are willing to burn extra charges." It requires a DC20 Caster Check to overcome the curse, I think.
Jaegar grimaces apolagetically... "I am afraid, in my first pathfinder mission, I am underequipped and in your debt. My apologies."
Jaegar continues to scout ahead, searching for trouble and clues.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

![]() |

"Thank you. I'm sorry I couldn't resist that damn shriek. I was of no help."
I think you can roll against the poison each round, and as soon as you success we can cure you.

![]() |

"I actually am not the best at using the wand, you'd be best off to use it on yourself, Jaegar."

![]() |

Fortitude vs DC 12: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
Jaegar manages to shrug off the poison almost as soon as Verhaal reminds him of the effects.
"Kristen, I thank you for the use of your wand. Does anyone else need me to use it?"
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Jaegar is fully healed with two charges.
Thank you for the wand use. It's going to be my first 2 PP investment. My other PFS characters have them, but this is Jaegar's 1st scenario.

Kristen nods to Jaegar, and he casts on Vrald.

"Thank you Lady Kristen" he nods to the Aasimar.
Vrald returns to the northernmost of the two eastern doors.
Standing ready, he carefully opens the door and looks within.
"Let us hope there are no more masks."

![]() |

Vrald enters the room and looks around.
In particular he is looking for any place that the staff (or Nigel) maybe hiding.
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16
"Hello...Is anyone here?" he calls out hopefully.

![]() |

"Remember I do also have a curative wand. You don't need to expend all your charges Kristen," Verhaal says while following the party.

![]() |

Jaegar continues to search the room, continually examining for threats or clues. Our mission revolves around eliminating danger, which is his top priority. Jaegar also sympathizes with Vrald in his desire to protect innocents.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
"Verhaal, I'm sure we are not completely free of threats in this Museum. I'm sure your wand will prove most useful in the immediate future. Thank you for your generosity."

![]() |

Kristen stands in the doorway of the storage room.
"Did you find anything useful, Jaegar? If not, we should move on."

![]() |

Jaegar would like to cast several preparatory spells en route to the final room in the museum:
1) Guidance Lasts 1 Minute, provides a +1 Competence bonus to a single attack, save, or skill check
2) Divine Favor Lasts 1 Minute, provides +1 Luck Bonus to Attack/Damage
3) Shield of Faith Lasts 1 Minute, provides +2 Deflection Bonus to AC
Most likely upon entering combat Jaegar will activate his Justice Judgment, gaining a +1 Sacred bonus to attack rolls.
Assuming Vrald will open the final door when the time comes, Jaegar will be on the lookout for threats and opponents. Attempting to swiftly ascertain any special defenses and special attacks:
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Knowledge: Arcana: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 Constructs/Dragons/Magical Beasts
Knowledge: Dungeoneering: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 Aberrations/Oozes
Knowledge: Nature: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 Animals/Fey/Monstrous Humanoids/Plants/Vermin
Knowledge: Planes: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 Outsiders
Knowledge: Religion: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24 Undead

Vrald strides for forward towards the door.
"Cackling? Not a good sign.."
For a moment he thinks about blocking his ears.
"Could it be another magical sound that stuns us?"
Then shrugs.
"According to the map there is another room off the main corridor.. This may not be the last room"
Shield and knife in hand stats for the knife would be handy BTW at least in terms of any to hit and damage bonus he pulls open the door.

You opened only one of the two doors in the exhibit hall. The other room is still unexplored. So I'll go for that first.
Vrald opens the door to the restrooms. These public restrooms seem to be for the use of visiting clientele. Several stalls are here and a huge cesspool below collects the offal. Mad laughter echoes in this cramped stone chamber. The stench of sewage battles the cold of the mist, but through the haze can be seen smears of blood across the floor, walls, and ceiling, as well as the doors of several stalls.
You can see a man in the museum's watchmen uniform in the room. Maddened by the mist, he attacks you. You can see a name plate on his chest "Maldroog". He is not alone. The mists have also attracted a fearsome sewer monster, a speckled viper, now a homicidal monster.
Jaegar can see, that Maldroog is a human. The Viper does not have any special attacks, but the bite is poisonous.

Kristen double-moves up to behind Sherrinford, pulling out her wand of sure light wounds on the way over. She will use it on him next turn. (Kristen is essentially out of useful magic right now, saving one last charge of burning hands for the last room in the place)

"See if that chant can work on the man..." calls Vrald as he works his way past Maldroog.
AOO for movement. I note that the viper goes before Vrald, so if it closes on the doorway, then I guess there is no need for an AOO.
Once through the door, Vrald advances on the viper swinging at it with the enchanted knife.
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
I'm assuming it is +1 by the way, reduce the damage if it is less, and the to-hit if it is not at least masterwork

Jaegar hopes Verhaal can sing Maldroog to sanity, and fires his bow point blank at the snake.
My mistake on the rooms. Belay the spellcasting.
Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

Sorry, I missed that you summoned Herbert in the room. I will correct that in the next turn.

Verhaal moves closer to the man and starts singing the countersong she recently learned, hoping to break the Tik Taan spell on him.

You can see Maldroog's eyes change back to human, the fur in his face disappears. He's looking around the room. "What happened?" he asks.
The viper can't be changed and attacks Hubert.

"Maybe this knife is not cursed after all.." says the knight, somewhat surprised by how good the blade is.
He turns his attention to the room, while the others (hopefully) look to the poor man.
"Remember to cover his mouth again!"
He looks thoroughly around the room
perception: 1d20 ⇒ 17

Vrald can see a dead body in one of the cabins. The name plate on his chest reads 'Sheg'. He's a half-orc. When Maldroog spots his colleague he breaks into sobs. He has no recollection of killing the half orc.
"The mist, the mist let me do that. Oh my god I killed Sheg!" Maldroog says. His face is pale.

![]() |

Kristen tries to console the poor man. "It was not your fault, my friend. You were not yourself. You should go, get yourself to safety."

![]() |

Jaegar is relieved to see the impeccable strike of Vrald on the viper, and encouraged by the ability of Verhaal to return Maldroog to his sentient state. However, the sadness of Maldroog's fratricide quickly casts a dark shadow over his demeanor.
"We need to end this! My time in Sarkoris was spent watching possession and domination ruin lives while fomenting distrust. Let’s clear this room and head for the grand hall.”
Jaegar searches as thoroughly as possible in the empty room, helping place Sheg in a more honorable position outside the bathrooms. Jaegar casts Detect Magic and searches the restrooms.
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21

"Thanks for saving me! Good bye and take care, there is something strange going on. I saw Nigel beeing dragged away by a horde of monkeys just in the minute before I got maddened by the mist. Stay away from the monkeys!" Maldroog says, jumps up and runs as fast as he can out of the museum.

A long hallway leads to this grand hall, wherein the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area. At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.
Inside the room you see about 20 monkeys and baboons jumping around like crazy. Suddenly you hear a loud roar and the monkeys spread to the walls and corners of the room. A big gorilla appears from the mist.
Only one idol attacks in Tier 1-2, I assume you all gather in front of the door before Vrald opens it

"Thank you for your advice Maldroog. Take care," Verhaal says to the man as he goes out.

I went ahead and moved everyone, I hope that wasn't too presumptive.
Kristen will pull out her wand of burning hands (CL3) and ready an action to cast it the moment the big monkey is close enough to hit with it.
