OMG...a 6? That is a -3 right?!
My very first Pathfinder character had a 6 in Strength. It's actually a -2. On this thread, some one rolled a 4, and I did once have a player roll a 5, put it in Charisma, and then choose dwarf (+2 Con, +2 Wis, -2 CHA) as his race. He ended up quiting the group before we actually played, but still...
Anyway, personality is done and I have my backstory idea pretty much finished in my head, now it's just a matter of writing it down.

Gavmania |

Gavmania, the plan was to make something new in Varisia. (Ending up in Arcadia was an unfortunate mistake as a result of the storm) The Paracount was going to let anyone who wanted to leave do so, while he would have rehired anyone from his former estate/looked into hiring others to build a new estate within Varisia.
Assume Arcadia has never been colonized before and in fact isn't even mapped. Other than that, the bounty hunter works as long as you assume you THOUGHT you were going to Varisia.
Ok, I get it now. The Sanctified slayer would be out, he would expend all his effort to return to Varisia to complete his mission. The Bounty Hunter would be more sanguine about it (You win some, you lose some), so I think that's who I'll go with.
Character wise, I'm thinking of someone like the Bounty Hunters in the Star Wars sagas (what can I say? I've just watched Episodes IV to VI as a prelude to watching the Force Awakens). Doesn't care whether the Money is from the Law Courts or a Gangster, so long as he gets paid. Doesn't kill indiscriminately or seek excessive cruelty; doesn't break the Law unless he has to - Neutral all round I think. He can work with the Paladin, but they may not get on so well all the time. On this occasion, it is a fugitive from the Law courts who has boarded a ship to Varisia; a former Hellknight would hardly stand in the way if he was truly guilty.

Hey Molly, are you still accepting submissions? I've got an idea for an Isgeri orphan who I think would fit quite well. I've got a few applications floating around in some really competitivelooking threads but I thought it wouldn't hurt to throw my hat in here...
1: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 5) = 16. 15
2: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3, 1) = 13. 12
3: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 3) = 17. 14
4: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 6) = 17. 15
5: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) = 11. 10
6: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 1) = 12. 11
With those rolls I've gotta put something forward, let me know if you're still taking and I'll get to work!

I am most pleased to submit Nymarchemadias, Gnome Bard (Archaeologist), for consideration for the most grand and amazing journey of epic exploration and discovery!
Backstory
A diminutive figure rested comfortably against a well traveled pack in a small space between the hull of the boat and several cargo crates. It would have been easy to mistake the stowaway for a child except for his manicured red beard and unusually large eyes with which he studied at a worn map, Arcadia scrawled across the top, in a cargo hull that was dimly lit by the few rays of sunlight that had filtered through the deck boards. The young gnome paused as the rocking of the boat evoked a feeling of queasiness not entirely different from the nervousness felt just before discovery of an ancient artifact hidden for ages. Of course, the queasiness from a discovery disappeared once the excitement disappeared and this new queasiness seemed to get worse as the boat was tossed about like a leaf on an angry river. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath savoring the new experience of being sea sick.
This new experience was just the beginning of what promised to be a grand exploration into the ancient and exciting ruins of Arcadia. An adventure that wouldn't be forestalled by a minor detail such as a lack of funds to pay for sea passage. Surely, the captain of the ship would be delighted to provide a complimentary passage to a brave archaeologist so no sense in bothering the captain who must be occupied with sailing the fine ship. Of course, he had taken a new name as gnomes often did when embarking a new adventure in a new land. He congratulated himself on his new chosen name, Nymarchemadias, thinking it would be most fitting in Arcadia. Henceforth he would be Nymarchemadias, explorer extraordinaire and finder of ancient lore and trinkets.
Ps. I submitted a rough crunch and have several corrections to make to skills, equipment, etc. but the core is there.

I think it should be noted that the people who got onto the ship from Westcrown in Cheliax expected to end up in Varisia. No one, not even the Captain, expected to land in Arcadia, mainly because as I mentioned in the first post, Arcadia is to the world of Golarion as Atlantis is to us. I know that's not the way it is in official Golarion canon, but that's a tweak I made myself.

Weird. Could have sworn I posted my scores, but I can't see them now. Guess I'll have to do it again (unless someone can find them for me).
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (4, 3, 1, 1) - 1 = 8
4d6 - 3 ⇒ (3, 5, 4, 6) - 3 = 15
4d6 - 5 ⇒ (5, 5, 6, 5) - 5 = 16
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 1) - 1 = 9
4d6 - 1 ⇒ (5, 1, 6, 2) - 1 = 13
4d6 - 2 ⇒ (5, 2, 6, 4) - 2 = 15
Those were definitely the rolls I had
That's a 16, 2 15's a 13 and 2 dump stats. I can live with that.

Not wanting to make a new alias just yet, but will give you an idea of who and what he is.
Human Wizard, school focus is divination
Str: 14
Dex: 15
Con: 15
Int: 16+2=18
Wis: 14
Cha: 6
Why couldn't you be more like Charles? My parents say. Why couldn't you follow in my footsteps, and become a paladin like Charles' asks my father. It always Charles...Charles... CHARLES!.
The last thought, escaped his brain and managed to find a way to escape his mouth in a thunderous boom. People on board the ship, regardless of crew or not, stared at him like he was crazy. Micah, snarled his lip, but didn't have time for a retort or other similar response as the ship was tossed around like a rag doll on the sea.
GOZREH be damned, even you are in favor with my brother Charles? He doesn't even follow your damn edicts and views, but you favor him!?
Micah, knows that Gozreh has no qualms about Charles, but inside he is fuming at his brother, ALWAYS getting his way, and yet his pursuits for knowledge and understanding mean nothing.
Micah, left his modest home, with what few possessions he had in hopes to find his way...AWAY from his overbearing snooty family. Varisia had to be better than the personal hell he was experiencing at home...right.
He got flung from his seat, his possessions getting tossed around. Once he gathered them up, and made sure his familiar Cat, Marbles was okay, he went topside to see what the hell was going on.

This is Dlagar the Great's submission. Presenting the humble groundskeeper of Paracount Dominicus Avranxi. He has loyally followed and served in the Paracount's gardens and his lands for ten years now. When he heard his lord was moving to Varsia he didn't hesitate to sign up again to once again tend to his lands. Years of killing pests and his elvish heritage have left him quite skilled with the bow. He looks forward to new lands and new challenges to overcome in the name of his lord!

Huh. Odd. It didn't show me that there were new messages...
And yup! Max at 1st level. I personally like rolling after that. Oh, right! Rolling this out in the open for you all...
NPC 1
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 5, 6) = 19 16
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 1, 3) = 7 6
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 2, 3) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 6, 5) = 18 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 5, 2) = 14 12
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 1, 6) = 14 13
This should be interesting indeed...
NPC 2
4d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 2, 1) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 4, 5) = 19 15
4d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 1, 4) = 11 10
4d6 ⇒ (5, 3, 3, 5) = 16 13
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 4, 4) = 14 12
4d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 3, 4) = 13 12

Kewl.
One thing: Since you're more focused on the law aspect rather than evil, shouldn't your code be "don't commit chaotic acts" not "don't commit good acts"? I think that would make a bit more sense, and would allow for more party cohesion. Not saying you have to do anything just something I noticed and I don't think that'll work well with my character and others. :(
Otherwise looks really good, I approve. (Although Grunyar may not.) :)

Molly Narr |

Well, this certainly was difficult. I want everyone to know that I appreciated reading through everyone's fluff and crunch alike... but unfortunately it is now time to make a decision:
Nymarchemadias,
Arlan Sandor
Grunyar Goldenbelt
Akkad
Azrielan
You five are my top picks for this campaign.
Again, I'd like to thank everyone else for applying. Unfortunately I don't think I could take anymore without going insane ^_^
As for the rest of you, I will be opening the gameplay tab shortly!
