GM, how do you feel about the lore warden archetype?

I'm working on making a fighter of some sort, with the child of the citadel trait to qualify for stealth as a class skill. More details to come.

I am so dotting this! I played a Red Mantis years ago, I love the flavour of the class and exploring the background in detail sounds great!

There are some awesome submissions in this one, good luck everybody!

So I've just been accepted to a game with a PC that I'm really keen to play. I'm going to have to bow out of this one guys, I think I would have just been phoning the cleric in anyway as nothing was really coming naturally to me. Good luck with the game anyways, and Happy New Year!

I'm so sorry for holding you up! I'll get my alias together ASAP with all of the details. Backstory wise, do any of you mind if I'm the guy who was wronged by the hag? I'm just looking at story hooks now and I'm getting some ideas...

Hey GM Aest, I'm just letting you know that I think I'll have to bow out of this one. I don't know if my concept for the character will fit the theme you're going for, but best of luck to you with the campaign!

Awesome, I'll put something up ASAP. I'll be making a ranger.

Hey Molly, are you still accepting submissions? I've got an idea for an Isgeri orphan who I think would fit quite well. I've got a few applications floating around in some really competitivelooking threads but I thought it wouldn't hurt to throw my hat in here...

Stats:

1: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 5) = 16. 15
2: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3, 1) = 13. 12
3: 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 3) = 17. 14
4: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 4, 5, 6) = 17. 15
5: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 1, 1) = 11. 10
6: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 1) = 12. 11

With those rolls I've gotta put something forward, let me know if you're still taking and I'll get to work!

So I only just saw your thought regarding the PC's being childhood heroes who returned home to start a business in Sharn. I don't want to be the one to throw a spanner in the works, I'll start working in a concept that fits your themes. Thanks for the quick feedback though!

I think this game screams collaborative character backgrounds, so is there anyone who'd like to work together? I'll try and get a rough draft of a character up today, my character would have been a bit of a troublemaker as a youth, a daredevil with little common sense but a heart of gold.

How do you feel about a jaded ex-Karrnathi soldier who has come to Sharn to make a fresh start? I'd probably go with the war hero trait, looking at fighter or brawler for class choice.

I was going with the rogue class scout archetype. I figured it has enough of a wilderness flavour to fit my character having been apprenticed to Arnama. Is that ok?

I'm working on some background for my soulforged character, I'm leaning toward making him a magus. I just wanted to double check you're ok with that class before I write it into his story.

Thanks Mittean, I'll get something more formal written up ASAP!

I was thinking he may have been from Cyre, created only a few days prior to the day of mourning. He was the only successful result of an experiment to transfer the soul of a dying soldier into a warforged body, as a way to combat the unsustainable losses of the war (especially as a countermeasure to the undead soldiers of Karrnath, as theoretically the warforged would be created with years of experience and training as opposed to being a blank slate). He would have been chosen for no other reason than he was mortally wounded, but somehow the process worked on him. When the day of mourning happened, his creator perished along with any hope of having his many questions answered.

I'm just spitballing here, what do you think? By the way, thanks for the quick reply and for taking interest, I appreciate it :)

How would you feel about a warforged character inspired by Robocop? I'm thinking he was a dying soldier whose essence was captured and transferred into a construct body. I've got a few ideas as to the fluff of the story, if you think it's viable I'll pursue it and start on a submission.

So I'll be putting forth Brennus Farran, a rogue with the scout archetype. He is the son of two retired adventurers, who managed to get himself into trouble for having "sticky fingers". His parents opted to send him off with Arnama, hoping that the hardship of a life among the wilds would teach him discipline. Still in the draft stage at the moment, should have something up by tomorrow. Are you happy for a myth-weavers sheet as a submission, or do you require us to make an alias for it?

How old was Wiclas when he was cast out? And where did he go? Ronan would appreciate his skill at arms, I think they would get along really well.

This looks great! I'm trying to break into the pbp scene myself, expect a submission in the next few days! I'm a big fan of the ranger class, and Nirmathas has so many interesting hooks for them especially so I'm thinking I'll go down that path.

So I've made a start on my cleric, the sheet is linked below. I just wanted to roll my hit points.
HP: 4d8 ⇒ (7, 3, 4, 8) = 22
So the second roll becomes a 4 for a total of 23

Ronan Gray

So I'll be putting forth a human cleric of heironeous, Rembrandt Dumas, probably gearing towards the warpriest prc. I haven't started on a backstory, so if anyone want to collaborate let me know and I'll work it in

Whoops, I completely missed that. I don't mind playing a divine caster, are you using the greyhawk pantheon?

Is this still open? I noticed you seem to be missing a rogue, I'd be more than happy to fill that spot if recruiting is still going?

I'm new to these boards but Tis campaign has piqued my interest. I'm cooking up a concept for a melee character, still looking at options though. Just thought I'd pop in and say hi!
