Kevaras makes a gargling sound as if drowning in water, except in this case, lots of tiny spiders.

Hit: Kevaras shifts two squares to K9 and will used his move action to shift to L8.

He says to Don, "It's comforting to know that if I die, you will be devoured by spiders alongside me. The oklu might even bury what's left of us in the two graves I purchased during Two-for-One Revenge Tuesday."

Minor Action – Divine Mettle: Don makes a saving throw with a +5 bonus.

Guldarin's discourse is accompanied by an invocation that starts to clear the area of larvae.

Greeg in the meanwhile leaps clear of the menace and starts climbing the wall. He finds easy handholds, but even so his progress is slow.

@Greeg - that's all absolutely fine. You jumped clear, used the remainder of your move to get to the wall and are now climbing at half speed.

Regardless, Divine Fury sets up a zone (sustain minor) -- when an ally in the zone hits an enemy, the ally regains 10hp

Cronin launches himself into the air above the adjacent spider swarm and lands between two others, his halberd crackling with divine energy as he lays about himself, leaving an aura as it arcs. Oddly, he then takes his eagle form and lightning lashes the third swarm. Meanwhile he shouts out to Kagash: "Keep burning them -- but don't stand near!"

HP 75/96. If I do heal someone, I also spend a surge (Cord of Divine Favor) to be at full and have +2 to attacks TEOMNT. Should have done that first, but didn't think of it :)

Nayce passes through the shadows to emerge behind the savant. He cuts at the overgrown vermin with his sword, wrapping it in shadows that slowly strangle it.

Shadow Step to G8. 2 more shrouds on the savant. Use slayers endurance. Strangling Shadow, invoking 3 shrouds. 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (1) + 17 = 18 vs Fort.

On a miss: Half damage 1d12 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14 gives 7 damage plus 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (4, 5) + 10 = 19 shroud damage. 26 damage total and the target is immobilized (save ends).

I gain 15 temp hp.

It costs me one healing surge to revive a companion, and if i use a second wind they also get healing equal to my surge value, so it seems to me it comes out of my pool. What do you think?

First thing... saving roll against the ongoing.

1d20 ⇒ 16

Second:

Andaros raises the Dawnblade and once again fire wraps itself around the blade only to disappear and reappear explosively within S1

Attack vs. Reflex

1d20 + 14 ⇒ (20) + 14 = 34

Damage

1d6 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22 Fire

Crit effect changes the damage. (if I'm doing this right)

3d6 + 22 ⇒ (5, 1, 3) + 22 = 31 Fire

Male Human Rogue/Daggermaster 14

Andaros, I think you were taking damage from the spider aura, not ongoing?

BUG GROUP - TRIGNOTARBS

@Dram - I think it has to as Dirt has no surge pool himself. Let's go with that. It makes sense mechanically and themeatically.

Nayce slips behind the Savant and somehow manages to get a stranglehold on the Trignotarb. The alien anatomy does not allow him to catch at a windpipe, but he holds the creature still even so.

Recharge Sow Her Seed - 1d6=2. No.

Hissing, the Queen looks at the approaching goliath and attempts to find a weakness.

Makes insight check with DC equal to target's lowest defense. On success, all allies can target that defense to end Queen's next turn. Range 20, 1/round.

@Andaros - as Don says, you're not taking ongoing damage, you are taking damage from an aura. The way to stop that is to move out of the aura. Just a as a side note, you can only make saves against ongoing damage and other effects at the end of your turn unless you are granted a save by another character (i.e. Cronin, who is particularly good at that :)).

Andaros and his blade act as one to set fire to numerous spiderlings.

1d20+13=31. Hits. 2d8+9=20
20 damage to Cronin

Kagash moves to protect Andaros, closely watching the tactics of the group.

MARKET

Take damage. HP 45/96. BLOODIED.
Minor: Sustain yellow zone.

Rest of turn depends: Are the swarms doing poison damage to us?

Save vs AC penalty
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Untyped damage damage from both sets of auras.

M Goliath Cleric 14 / Storm Speaker / Druid

What about the bites?

Also untyped from the swarms.
Aedre does acid and poison.

MARKET

Ok, thanks. Also, Andaros seems to have fallen off the init list.
Second minor: Healing Word on most injured ally for surge+3d6 and target gets +2 to attacks TEOMNT.
Free: Cord of Divine Favor. Spend a surge myself and get +2 to attacks TEOMNT.
Standard: Granite Shield vs A Fort

1d20 + 16 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 16 + 2 = 301d10 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
On hit, 14 and push Aedre 3 NE, and recover 10hp.
Effect: Gain aura 2 TEOMNT, granting self and allies resist all 5 while they are in the aura.

HP 69 or 79/96, 5 surges

Cronin ignores the crawling spiderlings as Aedre comes within his reach. Invoking Kord's blessing on his party and swinging his halberd at the Mother, he shields his allies from the worst of the creepies.

rev

Spoiler:
Heya Rev, too busy to post this morning (kids and work, and had to update my own game sorry). Greeg will do a double move climb then spend an action point to use his telport attack to close the distance on teh queen if possible. The climb should net me six squares, the teleport is 5 so that should get me to her. If you're happy to wait I'll sort all that out tonght when I get home. Cheers

Spider Fight

I take 10 and slowed from auras.

Don growls, "Gettin sick of these things. Plate, you go this way north, and I'll go that way east. We'll pin this thing like it was on display."

Piercing Strike to S2's Reflex
1d20 + 23 ⇒ (20) + 23 = 43 for 1d4 + 16 + 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 16 + (1, 4, 6) + 3 = 31

I knew it'd crit!
damage is 34+ 3d10 ⇒ (7, 8, 6) = 21 and swarm 2 takes 3d10 ⇒ (7, 7, 9) = 23more at the start of its turn. Total damage to S2 here is 55, halved is 27, with 23 more at start of its turn, I do not know if that is halved since its a property of the weapon I use.

"Haha! You don't like that, no? Hahaha!"

MBA using wraithblade
1d20 + 20 ⇒ (10) + 20 = 30 for 1d4 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15

Move: Shift to N10

Don, you're in my aura of resist 5 all. The spider auras, they do nothing.

Male Human Rogue/Daggermaster 14

They slow still though, appreciated, so right now we're healing better than they're giving, that's pretty good!

M Goliath Cleric 14 / Storm Speaker / Druid

Market

True on the slowing. Don't forget to heal 20 for the two hits while in the yellow zone, too -- that's a separate effect from the resists.

And bruised my knee in the process. Ouch! I'm right after the big bossy spider, I think.

And the Scorching Burst is Fire Damage.

Greeg scrambles up the wall and then teleports unexpectedly, looming near the Queen.

BUG GROUP - TRIGNOTARBS

Dram's gush of cleansing water is not strong enough to remove any of the larvae, but he and Dirt to manage to move clear of their gaping maws.

The savant spins on the spot and wraps its mandibles around the assassin, biting deep and trying to maintain its hold on Nayce's weakness.
