ah, for Elder Scrolls games, i never really finish. i will shelf the game for a year or so then take it back down and play again. I never play through all the quests, for instance i never did the imperial guard or redoran lines in morrowind. they just didn't excite me.
when i have beaten the game, i tend to just do silly stuff to amuse myself, or wander around and see stuff i havent seen before. even doing all quests doesnt take you to every location. in morrowind, i would steal things to get sent to jail to lower my skills, then train them back up. lowering the skills didn't reduce your level, but training them up increased your level, so i got to really high levels artificially that way. one time i used the game's enchantment system to make a ring that, unfortunately, broke my game. once i also went through the game and killed all the NPCs and placed their clothes in a pile at their place of death, so then the world was a wasteland essentially (except the guards that respawned). just things done of boredom. gathering artifacts, selling them to the best museum with the highest security, then stealing them back.
and regarding fans blowing the graphics out of the water - Bethesda has to make a game that can play on a lot of computers, so they dont amp the graphics up to the extreme. these fans that make the ridiculous graphics likely have much better rigs and can handle intense graphics.
Apologies, my internet cut out yesterday evening.I don't know what you expect from us regarding the dossier. My tabletop group, both with me as a DM or my friend Doug, play by the "here are your clues, now go solve it" method. Others play by the "I roll my Gather Information roll" and then get told further clues based on their rolls.
I even played a Modern d20 that did a combination of the two where you rolled to see how many clues you received and then the DM handed out newspaper articles, police reports and radio transcripts where you had to figure out which city the adventure was taking place in.
So, I've taken your clues and have been trying to go from there. I've not gone to roll for anything because I'm not used to doing it that way. If I do need to roll, please feel free to do it for me. 8)
Well, the main clue was provided and further clues can be obtained as part of the adventure. With the dynamic nature of the city, I'm not here to railroad you into any particular path, but the main thing is that after you make your conclusions from the clues, you should pick a path.
Making checks will probably not give you the answer, aside from providing supporting clues and context that might help you out. Logical deduction can take you far and is a necessary part of the quest, but so is going out into the world and following your ideas into the world and pursuing them.

Oh the MMO's I've played. From vanilla WoW, to DoTA (not really an MMO) to Medievia (a MUD), then on to DDO, GW 1 and 2, RO 1/2, Neverwinter, SWTOR (Which was awesome till it went F2P), TERA, Rift, and now the wife and I play FFXIV.
If its an MMO we've played it lol.

never played WoW, i prefer to waste my time for FREE.
although i did pay for WAR, but only for a few months.
DDO, LOTRO, and SWTOR. Unless someone develops something revolutionary, my next MMO would be a Morrow Project/Wasteland/Fallout genre MMO, and maybe a good ZPOC one.

yeah i must say that a Fallout MMO would get my money. at least initially. i dont know that any MMO could truly hook me for a long time, but i do enjoy them rather furiously for a brief time.

I just finished my last final for the first two years of medical school. I passed the previous four I took this week but one of them was a close thing. Today's was the hardest.

No deadlines and finals here, we have a Network Freeze for Christmas so it is mostly dead except for a high security computer network DMZ we are implementing.
I have end of the year projects, but I just hired a new minion so he's doing most of them!
I got all of my results today. I passed all of my courses as well as the program. Goodbye four hour lectures, pointless lab sessions and mindnumbingly frustrating questions written by people who speak poor english.
YAY!!!!!!!
On the other hand, come May, say hello to 12 hour days at the hospital followed by a four hour study sessions six days a week and huge tests every 3 weeks. 8)
We leave the island Thursday for the States where I will be sequestered until March to prepare for Step One of my Boards. I will have a short vacation then until May when I will begin Clincial Rotations in NYC.
So, I should have far fewer problems making my one post a day for the next six months. 8)

Yikes. Did they say what the cause was? I'd imagine it's an infection of some sort, but that would be more meningitis which would be global.

Well the anti inflammatory they gave me have helped out a lot. I'm still hurting like hell but I'm functional, so I'm more lead to believe that's what happened. Still trying to get a follow up without insurance though is the part that's taking so long. I'll post later today though Jen so that I don't end up as ahold back for anyone else.
