Also, with Syl on hiatus for a bit, I'm gonna be introducing two sort-of subs in the next few days. So don't be surprised if havocxiii and cyraxiii and aliases of same start hanging around here OOC.
The story hook I'm using to introduce them will definitely allow for that, but I'll let you guys play it out in-game and decide amongst yourselves. They've been following this thread for a while so they know the story pretty well.

Lmao that would be great if Dolo did that!
@DRA: is their any frontier kingdoms that have fell since the start of the war? If so it would be neat to learn about some of them and use one for my background so it is a little more legit. So long as that is cool with you =)

Dolo Luckbender |

DM DRA - I'm still not sold on Rend for my eidolon evolution at 7th. Seems pricey for the net result. Let me think a bit more on it.
Okay. I decided to keep Black Tentacles over Greater Invis. No Wonder Woman routine yet.
I will be replacing Rend for Glor. I've narrowed it down to one of the following:
1. +2 strength
2. Energy Attacks - acid or electrical
3. Gore
All are better and less circumstantial than Rend. Will have it decided by Monday. Any suggestions?

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

HP:6d8 + 29 ⇒ (2, 8, 6, 5, 2, 8) + 29 = 60
Also I'd probably go with gore or the +2. Though is the elemental damage with melee attacks or a breath weapon?
Havoc here.

Gore would give me an extra attack. Disadvantage - Have to hit.
Energy attacks would go on all three of my natural attacks. Disadvantage - immunity.
Strength - +1 to hit and damage on all natural attacks.
All have their pros/cons. All are better than rend.

No kingdoms have fallen, actually, just lots of poor (and poorly defended) towns and villages. The Explored Land doesn't have much in the way of royalty, to be honest. What are you looking for to make things more legit? I can suggest something if you can give me a more specific kind of hook that you're looking to use.

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

@Dolo: I'd go for the +2 to strength it is never situational it is a net +1 to attack and damage. Not as much damage as gore but is far more reliable.

Message from Cyra:
Character is mostly done will be complete tomorrow only have fluffy stuff left.
Message end:
Can't wait to join a game of flyers it will definitely be a change. :) Cyra's machine gun of death is mostly finished. My character will be a secondary combatant once Damian and Min have the enemies attention then Mai will fly in quickly hit and move unless they need him to flank then he will stay in the thick of it. Livain (Cyra's archer) will pin cushion the enemy from afar.

Thanks for the advice. I like the passive bonus from the STR increase. Helps with CMB/CMD, to hit, and damage as well.
I can always evolution surge for the situational evolutions such as energy attacks and such.

Sweet. Lemme know as soon as everything's ready and I'll start working you in.

Will do boss man. Also which height do you use for elves here? 5 foot nothing elves or the tall pathfinder elves?

I guess for my previous question DRA: I was just wanting to find a frontier community that had been wiped out and using that as the basis for where Min and Lin met and other fluff for my background. Just looking for some details I could add, so that I don't accidentally impose something on your world.
Sorry for the wait, been a busy work week >.<;, I will get this all rolled into the main character sheet once I get more time.

@Min: Oh, I gotcha. Aywhere in Hallas, really, would be good since that land is overrun. Fonte Boa on the western end of the Mana river would be good, as would Boca do Acre down on the borders of Goreme. Alternately, if you wanted a fiercer, darker, wilder flavor, being from any of the towns in the area between Rass-La and The Frost Kingdom is good, as well. That whole area up around Budennovsk and Zelenokumsk is right on the front lines.
In general I have no problem with PCs imposing details as long as the scope doesn't get excessive. I designed the Explored Land specifically around my DMing style where I can extemporaneously provide PCs with as much or little detail as they need, that's part of why I left blank areas in the map; so others have some imagination wiggle room. Some players really badly want to control every specific thing about their past, and others just want to be told where they're from and they'll just deal with specifics, you know how it goes. I'm totally fine with either approach so I like to have that flexibility. So yeah, never be afraid to introduce a cool detail, as long as you're not like making up a new metropolis or a new god; macro-level things like that I'd say we at least need to talk about, but anything small and/or character-specific is generally gonna be okay with me.

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

@DRA: Just want to say I think that is one of my favorite parts about your style is you aren't trying to control how our characters started. Heck you let me start a whole experimental breeding program just to bring about two characters. So I say good job.

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

:-D
Thanks, man! It helps that so far all my players have had sweet ideas that add a lot of cool stuff to the world. I can see your breeding program leading to some pretty nifty encounters down the line, for example, so kudos to you and to everyone still playing in my games. ^_^
Why do I suddenly feel worried/nervous?

Cool Beans! =) Just didn't want to cause a stir lol I enjoy this Pbp way too much to impose on it, but I will have to look the map over again and make sure which of those area's will fit the best. Thank's DRA ^^

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

All right going to make an offer to all players in this game. I can draw your characters weapons if you wish, DRA and Min can vouch for me. Or I can let what I have online do that for me.
I have more stuff that I plan on putting online it is just taking a little while to do it. Like Maiathreen's sword is ready on paper I just need to scan it.

Min Bein'Meleth Rámalóce |

Btw it'll be cool to be playing with you again havoc and cyra =D (I was Ninn in Ronin's campaign lol). I am looking forward to what characters you guys are making =D.

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

I think it was light because it was Valentine's day. Min I know you play Ninn :p that's why I was saying you could vouch for my drawings as well, you said was past tense....it is slow but still alive....or at least I think.

Min Bein'Meleth Rámalóce |

Sorry, I didn't mean it like that lol. I'm still in Ronin's game, I look forward to him posting soon. =) I have like 30 tabs open at all times lol so I watch all of my pbp's at once, but I will admit my grammar isn't the best lol so forgive me :P

Maiathreen Gyssearnith |

My grammar is horrible as well. As is my script but luckily typing doesn't show my handwriting. Also anyone know of a language that would look good for the words of power have been looking through different translators but nothing jumps out at me. I have a translator on my phone but it translates words into the languages native script rather than roman(?).

DM Downrightamazed |

I've been using this one that Min pointed out a while back. The algorithm is a bit simplistic but it does a passable job of making things neat. Only complaint is the Abyssal looks a bit much like Dutch to my eyes.

Dolo Luckbender |

I have to say, this new(?) antagonism between Dolo and Sir Damian is extremely interesting to me. Very cool development.
Actually, the animosity is directed at Syl. I just took it out on Damian since he was the first one there. ;D
It'll all work out, I'm sure. It just made sense that Dolo fixates on a task and is dogged in that pursuit. Logic and facts over emotion. Pursuit of academics would have driven his empathy out of him. ;P

DM Downrightamazed |

Ah! Yeah, that makes sense. Syl's lacuna allows her a reprieve. Heh. Or at least for now. I like seeing Dolo's warring instincts in action; on the one hand Sir Damian is right in that Dolo's the one who insisted on staying on track, but on the other hand he can't resist an opportunity to lecture. Sounds like some prof's I've had in the past. ;-)
Belsarious, I haven't used that feat, got nothin' to offer, sorry.

Min Bein'Meleth Rámalóce |

Heheh it is a very fun Pbp, the creativity put into it is inspiring. =)
@DRA/everyone: Just had a pretty bad fire at home, so my posting may be a little irregular. Just thought I would warn you guys.

Min Bein'Meleth Rámalóce |

So far we lost two pets, which is pretty rough. A dog and cat :( but insurance is going to cover the damage so we won't have too much problem rebuilding by the sounds of it. Been a long day so I will chat with you all later. Thanks for your thoughts =)
