I was thinking about building Singed too, just for fun (Alchemist/Barbarian who two-hands a Heavy Shield!) but I'm so attached to Nasus that I just can't bring myself to do it.

...maybe as a thought experiment, later. ;)

I fancied him more a Ranger/Alchemist, mostly for the ease of entry on the shield feats. Be a half elf for the alchemist archtype which grants a super tanglefoot bomb for Mega Adhecive. Also the Dendrite Mutagen gives fast healing which matches up nicely with his ults regen.

If only he could use Ki Throw it would be perfect!


...Actually, isn't there a Ranger archetype that gets Rage and Rage Powers AND Ranger Bonus Feats?

And I just checked, and the answer is no. ;_;

Still, Alchemist/Ranger would be pretty awesome, except for the weak Will save and the fact that you'd need both Int and Wis for spells, unless you decide to go one or the other, like I am with Nasus.


I have decided to go with Ezreal instead of Yi, partly because theres plenty of melee potential already present in other applications, partly because no matter how I made Yi I always felt like something was missing. Fx the one I submitted had no monk and 10 wisdom...just seemed wrong.

I also think I will enjoy playing a ranged skillmonkey more.

The plan is to go pure Wizard, taking Arcane Archer on the Ranger side after level 6. I really like Ranger for Ezreal, not only for the archery feats, but because it shows his personality nicely, since a big part of his Lore is about him being an explorer.

I'm surprised you went wizard and not monk, like zen archer and dimensional agility.


Monk offers nothing to represent half his abilities. You really need spells for Essence Flux and Trueshot Barrage.

Also Ezreal is a spellcasting prodigy according to his lore.

have you considered the Zen Archer and Magus Myrmidarch

combine the dimensional agility and you get all the abilities he has and you get the spell casting you're wanting to some degree and he'd be a literal beast in ranged.


Meh, Myrmidarch gets so few spells. Good call on Dimensional Agility though, I had not considered that you cant do anything after Dimension Door (which the Conjuration school abilities function like) Will probably grab it at level 5 or 7.

I've never pictured Azreal as anything but a magus is part of my bit, only things like Karthus, Veigar, Rhyze, Lux, etc deserve wizard/sorcerer etc.

I was actually hoping to see someone drop a Annie with Summoner and Sorcerer.

Welp... Just attempted to post a trundle build and it crashed when I tried to preview it, so I'm just gonna give you the short version.
Anyways, kinda new to this stuff(been in one other pbp game on another forum) but I figured if nothing else, I could have some fun trying to make a Trundle build in Pathfinder.

Trundle, the Cursed Troll:

[q] Rabid Bite: Took half-orc(assumed the troll was off limits for obvious reasons) for the toothy racial. No str draining, but what are you gonna do.

[w] Contaminate: Travel domain, gives me speed and also me to ignore difficult terrain X number of times per day, eventually I'll be able to give myself extra attacks with spells.

[e] Pillar of Filth: No wall real spells, but with ranger I get entangle for the slow.

[r] Agony: Freebooter's bane doesn't actually drain stats or hp, but I think it does the job of making the rest of the group hit a single target harder.

[Passive] Decompose: Will be awhile but death knell and death knell aura will fit perfectly I think.

And of course, first Favored Terrain will be Jungle no matter what.

I would like to join this game but the only character I am really interested in from a roleplay perspective is Veigar. As such am building a Veigar character which I will post up soon. I am sorry to whoever is already building a Veigar and I have made every effort not to read your posts, so everything I use will be my own ideas rather than just trying to copy and outdo you. If both entries are in your top 4 players I might be convinced to edit the build into Brand.

I hope you are not too annoyed at me doing this Azolmotl.


Here’s my version of Veigar, I have added a lot of fluff, please call me up on anything you don’t like.

Summary/Fluff::

This build is in the spirit of a mage who bursts someone down and is questing for greater powers. His force missile/magic missile and other single target spells emulate his q, I will pick up a high damage AOE spell to mimic the area of effect meteor when I reach an appropriate level.

I have more spells than his abilities in game but I would rather emulate the higher damage spells such as his ultimate and meteor with second and third level spells, so effectively this build is for a young Veigar who has just joined the league and not reached the potential we see in game yet, and at least some of the spells I have chosen fit as non-combat spells that you would not see in game anyway.

I have emulated his passive using the sin eater archetype, Veigar is unsure of what the actual process of sin eating is he just does it.

Finally I have taken pyrotechnics and with to use the fluff that it makes my fire spells burn white with blue tint to emulate Veigars game spell style.


Background:

Veigars original name was Vesik and it was under this name that he spent his youth in the capital city of the Gnomes (Yordles) Bandle city. He lived with his two parents Elmador and Fijit and his sister Alexandra. Vesik was not like his fellow Gnomes though, he longed for adventure and the chance to see the world outside the walls of the city and, despite his parents objections; he joined the church of Desna the favoured goddess of the city.

His role in the temple was not as a priest however, he requested to work for them as an emissary and trader. Most Gnomes never venture from the safety of the city and so his offer was quickly accepted. His next few years were spent training under the head cleric Zarzuket for the journeys ahead of him. Vesik was a patent child and flourished under the tutelage of Zarzuket, learning much about the religion and the outside world. He also picked up skills to help defend himself, learning things to help detect the motives of others and to heal his own wounds.

After 3 years training for his role, he was finally allowed out on his first mission, a simple trading exercise. The next 8 months passed and Vesik built up a good trusting relationship with his church and began to be sent out on his own more and more often. Perhaps it was that trust that was his undoing or perhaps overconfidence, but whatever the reason, 15 years 4 months and two days ago he let his guard drop.

He was on a mission to collect a holy artefact of Desna that the church had purchased from a human Noxian named Von Drake. He let his guard down and did not think to check their alignment. This mistake cost him 10 years of his life, for you see the artefact was stolen. Von Drake had tipped off the local authorities and, once the trade was complete, he teleported out. This leftVesik to face the consequences penniless and he was shortly arrested

He was imprisoned in a Noxian prison in a solitary cell for 10 years of his life. Solitary confinement has particularly harsh effects on Gnomes and as such over the next 10 years his mind twisted and snapped. He started out being fuelled by pure desire for revenge and as such his mind lasted longer than most, but as this faded he lost his grip. Many tortures were placed upon him in that time, the worst of which beinf the scaring of his eyes into triangular holes, which of course left him blind. Very little of Vesik was left after this and so took on the name Veigar.

Veigars first instincts were to seek power; he desired to become as strong as that which had bested him. To do this he must become evil. But Veigars Gnome heritage fought back, he could not kill in cold blood and whenever he attempted evil he found himself afraid to do so. He first sought help from a temple of Nephys, dedicated to the darker side of the god. They trained him for a year in return for his dedicated service to their god, a debt he has yet to pay. Nephys granted him a modicum of his former power as well as restoring his sight, causing the triangular slits of his now scared eyes to glow a dull yellow. He also granted the ability to consume the souls of his victims, or at least that is what Veigar believes consciously, his twisted minds subconscious instead believes he is eating their sins, ensuring their passage to heaven. This dual nature does not appear in his conscious thoughts and merely manifests as a last minute reluctance to perform evil acts, and so was not spotted for a year until he failed to murder a noble for his spell book on his first training mission as a priest.

At this point they rejected him, debt still owed for the training they had given, telling him to vanquish his fears and to return. He spent 1 years searching for answers to his problem slipping deeper and deeper into his madness until all that was left was his battle to prove he was evil to himself and others around, despite his inability to act. Finally he came across a mage, who offered to train him; he was a shadowy figure who never gave a name, simply answering to master. He learnt two main things in his two year tutelage with his master, firstly was a small amount of the magic practiced by the master. Secondly was that to be truly evil he must acquire power. Soon his master sent him to go join the League, so that he may develop more knowledge for himself, expecting him to return with the knowledge he collected.

He joined the Bandle city pathfinder’s society and spent a year studying magic there under his new name. He also purchased a large top hat to cast his face into shadow and a monocle to match so that only his glowing eyes and mustache were obvious without close inspection. He recently transferred to Magnimar(Demacia) recently to get away from too many questions building up about who he was and because of a mild interest in the monuments.
