The Horror, the Horror! A Golarion Adventure.

Game Master Crayfish Hora

Darkness comes to the land and the moon turns others mad. Uncertainty hides truth somewhere in the center of all this; that center being a small farming village.

Party balance is a myth, it's true, but characters that can function together aren't. We could all play Paladins, but if each character gets on the others nerves it'll be less fun for everyone. A chaotic neutral character might work in a predominantly lawful group by keeping the chaos low-key, but the same could easily be said of a neutral character with occasionally chaotic leanings. It'll depend on how the backstory fleshes out which I'll go for, I think.

Hi this is a relative of Mr. Glass. I have a LE Inquisitor that might fit in :)

Might need some slight adjusting he was made for giantslayer or kingmaker and didn't get to play.

Ironically he was made with the pride trait and LE.

If selected I will level him to 3rd, but same gist (hunteresque Inquisitor). I'll show glass how to make an alias too lol.

Sczarni

Chaotic alignments are ruled by their inner desires and thoughts. It's not about chaos, most of the time. Lawfuls are ruled by society, rules, and other outside influences. And Neutrals are in between both. If you were in a group with lots of lawfuls, and were the chaotic in there, you're probably that one impulsive party member that goes against the tide to do something, something.

So far, four characters. Max of six. So we'll go max and then if people fall off, we'll grab more. This is a first come, first serve kinda deal, I ain't gonna pick and choose, just gonna grab whoever and whatever and throw it in there, just like a real adventure! Some kinda character gumbo.

This looks fun. I can probably create a character in a bit, but I have a mostly curiosity-driven question: are Path of War classes allowed, and if so, are Path of War feats and maneuvers allowed as well?

Sczarni

I had actually thought that was where my martials would be coming from. Yes, they are allowed, and yes, their feats and whatever are also allowed. You too can be a fightin' wizard.

So first come first serve, does that mean Zaeos is in? If so I will level him up in the morning.

Sczarni

If he's miraculously level 3 before any others show up, yes. Gotta steal them seats while it's hot!

Liberty's Edge

Ooh, another question: background / unchained skills system y/n?

Sczarni

Yes. No smarmy remarks because I'm watching my shows. Just yes.

My submission, Phaust Spireborn is nearly done. I will work on the fluff tonight. As an undead slayer for Pharasma, he MAY have issue with those who raise the undead. Just saying.

Sczarni

Ooooh, Pharasma! I was wanting someone to come in with Pharasma! You are going to have the best fun and don't you worry about team-likeys. You leave that to me.

Also, note that we're using Armor as DR rulin's. Check the OP for a link for that, or google-foo it.

And as for team stuff, it's probably safe to say that I've got 6 peeps. That's maximum party limit right there, as one just needs to level up and that's the easiest of things to do.

Your party is: Sir Galahad's fighter/monk, a Samurai from the East, a Cleric of Sanctified Undead, a Paladin of Perfection, an Inquisitor of the Hunt, and the Last Remnant of Pharasma. Those mentioned should hop on into the discussion part and I wish everyone else happy gaming yo.

Divine Smith (Su)
Whenever a forgemaster casts a spell that targets a weapon, shield, or armor, the spell takes effect at +1 caster level. If the spell has one or more metamagic feats applied, she reduces the total level adjustment to the spell by 1 (minimum 0).

Runeforger (Su)
A forgemaster may inscribe mystical runes upon a suit of armor, shield, or weapon as full-round action, using this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + her Intelligence modifier. These runes last 1 round per cleric level, but inscribing the same rune twice on an item increases this duration to 1 minute per level, three times to 10 minutes per level, and four times to 1 hour per level. Erase affects runes as magical writing. A forgemaster learns forgemaster’s blessing at 1st level and may learn one additional rune at 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter. Only one type of rune marked with an asterisk () may be placed on an item at any given time.
Known Runes:
Ancient Splendor: The inscribed weapon, armor, or shield grants a +2 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy and Intimidate checks (+4 when interacting with dwarves).
Featherlight: The inscribed item’s weight is halved; a metal item’s weight is reduced to 1/4 normal. If inscribed on a suit of armor, its armor check penalty for Acrobatics and Climb checks is halved.
------------------------------------
Spells:
1 (4/day): Animate Rope (domain), divine favor, lead blades, protection from evil
2 (3/day): wood shape (domain), heat metal, ironskin

You know what dwarf, I am always, always making fun of your race. You are my punchline to every single joke that I can ever think of. For that, I am always eternally grateful that your race exists.

For you, you can be the 7th party member. You can be my lucky number seven. You get to watch everyone else die. You will be...invincible!

Yes, okay, and the dwarf. But that's it. Is that like 6 and a half, or is it closer to 6 and 3/4 party? Throw yourself in to the discussion too, you ol' dwarfy you.

Feat taxes? In fact, yes, if you don't wanna take Combat Expertise, you don't have to. I don't like Combat Expertise, so you don't have to either! Or you can like it, that's all fine with me.

I was mainly thinking about Spell Focus. A bunch of feats that are important for my build have Spell Focus (necromancy) as a requirement. And that is a decent feat for me to have, but I don't want to be forced into it. I'll take it if I have to but I would prefer to take Selective Channeling.
