Cormaeg MacCammon. |

Cormaeg, feeling the rush of stims in his system, and flushed from his last kill, takes aim at the nearest remaining storm trooper and unleashes another shot at him.
Half action, aim, single shot, short range, no light penalty.
Attack (44 + 30): 1d100 ⇒ 78
Aw...for the love of crap...

GM Larkin |

Seeing a Heghlander in trouble Garions rushes back to Cormaeg and helps him up.
There is no sign of the 2 troopers in the smoke cloud but the one remaining outside it fires on Carno again
BS +10 Aim +10 Single shot +10 close range -10 darkness: 1d100 ⇒ 92 this time he's well wide, the lasbalst scorches some of the rock wall.
None of the men on the walls seem to be able to draw a bead on anyone in the cave, but there is a lot of movement out theres and a lot of noise of ruching feet.
@Cort - +10 Awareness please (that's +20 with your heightened senses)
Jermaie and Wikvay are up. Map will follow tonight

GM Larkin |

To clarify, Garion is currently beside Wikvaya. That's where he ended his turn
There are currently directions you can go:
NE is the main cave that seems to have cages in the back of it. Eirik has started running this way
NW is a smaller offshot, that Scarus and Jermaie are in the enterance of
You need to let me know which way you want to run
Here's a good representation

GM Larkin |

Opposed WS: 1d100 ⇒ 14 Nope your not getting that bolt pistol this turn
"And you are the fool servant of a tyrant!" Scarus fires his pistol once more
BS +10 aim +10 single shot: 1d100 ⇒ 83 but his anger negatively influences his aim
Cort, Eirik, Cormeg and Garion are up
@Cormeg - You can basically dictate where you want Garion to run with you, and keep a half action to do what you want. For the purpose of BS tests count Garion as your comrade when you do so

GM Larkin |

The creature that is massively muscular standing head and shoulders over the soldiers and almost twice as wide as any of them. It seems to have green skin, a flat nose, no hair and tusks protruding from it's mouth.
Here's a good representation
The creature is cris-crossed by scar tissue, but seems non-fussed about it and looking relatively healthy
The Xenos speaks up as you approach, spotting you before the Humans do
"What you want Hummie?!"
@Cort and Eirik - -20 common lore (Imperial Guard) will give you some clue as to what this thing is

Cormaeg MacCammon. |

"Commissar, let's help Jermaie kill the general!"
As the move, Cormaeg levels the storm bolter, attempting to put down the storm trooper shooting at Carno.
Single shot, short range
Attack (44 + 20): 1d100 ⇒ 89
The shot is wildly inaccurate, and the stormbolter coughs and splutters a bit, almost like it w3as very close to failing.

![]() |

1d100 ⇒ 16
Eirik looks at the eight iron and pauses. He is obviously debating on whether or not to help this scrum. These are the same fool who bombed us right out of the gate. Cort they are eight iron. I swear I think we should leave them. But no one deserves tk die by Xenos execpt heretics and traitors. They come from a traitor company but they may be good troop. What do you think?

GM Larkin |

GM Larkin |

It was probibly the 14th that bombarded you. They are the Artillary Regiment that has been deployed here. These are the 8th, just like the Colonel Raxe Garn, who gave you this mission, and the dead you found in the destroyed chimera. Also there's only 6 of them
If you'll remember you didn't find a enough dog-tags at the site of the destroyed chimera, to cover the number of men that should have been in the squad

![]() |

Sorry I would have put mods but I swear that was an 89 or so when I rolled it phil. I was like I think its the Emparah. Oh crap disregard that last post then. Thats what I get for posting when half asleep.
Eirik rushes one to try and open the cage worried about his fellow men. Weapons get me some weapons. We need to arm these men.

Cormaeg MacCammon. |

Aiming once more at one of the remaining stormtroopers (The top one), Cormaeg holds the stormbolter steady, praying to the emperor that it will last through the battle.
Single shot, Half aim, Short range, no darkness
Attack: 1d100 ⇒ 12
Damage: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (10, 8) + 5 = 23
Storm Damage: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (10, 3) + 5 = 18
Crit #1: 1d5 ⇒ 2
Crit #2: 1d5 ⇒ 1

GM Larkin |

The first of Cormaeg's bolt rounds blows off the man's arm the trailing one opens his chest.
Eirik make it up to the cages. From here he can see the cave opens up to a network of tunnels built into the mountain. The xeons brute continues to watch you quisacly
"You strange umie"
at the same time the Iron guard spotted Eirik and slowly russle themeslves to their feet. None of them speak though.
The two troopers reapear out of the sides of the cloud and take up firing positions.
Jermaie and Wikvaya are next

Wikvaya Shoodii |

Combining Charge and Knock Down to rush the general.
Wikvaya responds upon seeing Jermaie's failed attempts by charging into the fray, aiming to put down the general quickly.
Knock Down Strength Test {40 = 30 strength + 10 charge bonus}: 1d100 ⇒ 32

GM Larkin |

I'm going to give Wikvaya an extra +5 for the ganging up, and for putting the mission first
Scarus opposed Strength: 1d100 ⇒ 82 Wikvay blows scarus off his feet doing knocking the wind out of him as he lands awkwardly on his back
Damage: 1d5 ⇒ 5 and 1 level of fatigue
Dispite the painful fall Scarus swiftly rolls back to his feet and fires on the new comer
Boltpustol Single Shot on Wikvaya + 10 single shot -10 fatigue: 1d100 ⇒ 70
"Grox testicles! Troopers get in here and help me!"
Cort, Eirik, Cormeg and Garion are up
Garion will basically follow your lead Cormeg

Cormaeg MacCammon. |

"Take out the general, me and the commissar will buy you time!"
Once again, Cormaeg singles out the closes of the two remaining troopers that reappeared and tries to put him down.
Singel shot, half aim, short range, no darkness
Atack (44 + 30): 1d100 ⇒ 35
Damage: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (6, 1) + 5 = 12
Storm: 2d10 + 5 ⇒ (2, 8) + 5 = 15
I'm starting to get the hang of this weapon.

GM Larkin |

I do love storm-bolters!
The bolts blow the storm trooper off his feet, and he lands twitching on the ground.
Dropping to one knee so that Cormaeg can lean on him more comfortably, Garion fires his bolt pistol on the remaining Storm trooper
BS 29 +10 single shot +10 close range: 1d100 ⇒ 52 the round narrowly misses it's intended target.
Outside there is the sounds of running feet
@Cormaeg - please give me a perception roll
Eirik gets his multi-tool out and starts to work on the lock. It seems like it will take him a little time ton get it open.
It will take another turn
One of the Iron Guard troopers is pushed to the front. He's a haggard unshaven man with the markings of a Lieutenant.
"What are you doing Dominate soldier? Do you not have the keys?"
The xenos chimes in
"Yea what you do lil 'umie"
@Eirik - a -20 awareness test please

![]() |

Let me put it this way. Long Live the Emperor. We aren't here to get you out but I cant leave you here. Not with those whatever they are. And honestly we need the firepower you guys can help us with. Hell I might even let that thing out if it promises to leave us alone and go fragile the dominion guys.
1d100 ⇒ 25 nope not quite im gonna die.

GM Larkin |

The man looks very weary of the consept of letting the green creature out but is too burnt out to argue.
"I am Lieutenant Neefs of the 8th Iron Guard. We were working behind enemy lines when we were attacked and captured by the Xenos known as Eldar."
He looks ath the extra equipment that Mariam is carrying and looks back to Eirik.
"None of us have been trained to use bolt weaponry. Where did you get those things?"

![]() |

Quickly snaps a salute to the lieutenant. Those our our weapons sir. And we have a few las weapons also. They were part of our disguise. We can give those to your men. As form myself and my squad. I am Corporal Eirik Of the Hegland 1st. We are here for their general. You sir are a happy bonus. Eirik replies as he keeps working on the lock.
