"Lord? I'm just a private like yourself" he says gesturing to his insignia

Done Sergeant. I did the best I could. I was only with them for a week. So I didnt know everyone's name. I feel ashamed of that. They were good men and died fighting beside me and I didnt even know who some of them were....

Wikivaya recognises the officers insignia as that of a General, and realises that chances are there aren't two generals in this base. Chances are this is your target.

The dominate stormtrooper with the hotshot lasgun continues to make conversation, while the other remains stony silent.
"It's a mess back here! Your transport isn't spounding too good either. You guys must have gone through hell!"

The general finishes speaking with the Sargent, he awaits the salute before turning away and going back inside. The Sargent returns to Eirik in the security room.
"They died fighting for their freedom from an oppressive, uncaring Imperium. Much better than living as slaves to a distant tyrant" the NCO replies to Eirik.
He takes the paperwork and begins to read over it.

Who/what are you saying you were attacked by Eirik? Try to be explicit.

A imperial patrol. Say the 14th..... They have to have some scouting elements. Make it seem like we barely won and got away before reinforcements arrived and their arty started pounding the place. I managed to get the track running we grabbed what supplies were left and high tailed it here.

Male

"Very good." the Sargent nods as he reads.
"Get the supplies into stores, the building at the back of the complex. Park around the other side of it and I'll have Old man Stern open up and take everything in"

Outside the stormtrooper is a bit perplexed by the lack of response
"Very well keep your secrets then!" He takes a couple of steps away from the back of the vehicle and lights an ilo

Does as ordered upon arrival he waits on the NCO who is supposed to open the supply bay up.

Male

When you drive to the vehicle the supplies building the dominate stormtroopers follow lazily. You loose sight of them when you turn behind the building and they don't re-appear. After a few minutes a haggard old soldier opens the shutters of the depo.
"A'right pass it all into me, 'n try to keep like thing together yea slobs!" he says without a word of introduction.
"You!" he points at Jermaie pushing out a dataslate with his spare hand "keep count of everything for me"

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

"Er, roight, erm, sir." Jermaie takes the proferred dataslate and tries his darndest to work out just what to do with it, turning it this way and that and squinting at the difficult to make out text.

"The rest of us are underneath a false floor, correct? So when we take these boxes off, we won't have to knock this guy out?

Male Brawler WS 47, BS 34, S 41, T 52, Ag 32, Int 30, Per 26, WP 38, Fel 39, Wounds 16/16, FP 2/4

Huh...we're still in this, the emperor smiles on us.

Cormaeg tries to put on a "dumb but strong" look as he gives the old soldier a salute.

"Just leave all the heavy liftin' to me, that's why they keep me around."
Cormaeg then chuckles genially, wishing he was just a touch bigger to help keep the act up.

Not entirely sure how we pulled that out of our butts but whatever. If this works steal extra stuff for our other guys guys. .

Helps carry things in and tries to get a look at the contents of the building with out getting caught. Could you by chance issue us new uniforms while we are here as you can see ours got rather tore up. It looks terrible for our discipline for us to walk around like this. Like we dont care about how we look...

Male Medic [Damage/Wounds 1/13 | Fate 1/1 | Insanity 1 | Initiative +3]

Wikvaya waits for an opportune time to inform the others that the man earlier was the general, their target.

Yes Cort, Harman, Garion and Miriam (Eirik's comrade) are under a false floor. The supplies are all over the place in the back because the wood from the boxes was used to make the false floor

The supplies officer snaps the dataslate from Jermaie
"Dam farm boys!" he growls
"Just put the supplies where I tell you, and leave your rifle here. It's not allowed inside without the General's permission."

You would have been able to comfortable tell everyone while Eirik was driving you to the supply depo. Even those in hiding would have heard you

With Corpral Stern now standing at the enterance no-one is able to get a look in except Jermaie.

"We can deal with new uniforms in the morning after you are all rested, fed and washed" the man replies.

Liberty's Edge

Yes corporal. Finishes loading the boxes and pays as much attention to the security measures on the supply building as he can without being too obvious.

Male

As far as you can tell the building is simply physically locked down at night, though Stern was inside when he opened up for you.

Male Brawler WS 47, BS 34, S 41, T 52, Ag 32, Int 30, Per 26, WP 38, Fel 39, Wounds 16/16, FP 2/4

Leaving the rifle behind...even for a little bit, hope it's not a trap...

Despite being somewhat anxious and perhaps a little (justifiably) paranoid, Cormaeg goes along with the requirements as to not give the game away.

Male

Only Jermaie has been ordered to drop his gun and go directly into the the building everyone else is just carrying stuff to the door.

Ah, well, that makes me feel better, if it is a clever ambush, I want to at least get a shot off in return.

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Jermaie does as he is told with a shrug and heads inside the building.

While he works, Jermaie tries to take in the storage space, paying particular attention to anywhere that looks like an armory. Jermaie looks out for any materials that might be considered dangerous or hazardous or any kind of locked security doors that would indicate something important behind them.

Male

The ration bars etc are unboxed, Jermaie has to take armfulls he is instructed, by stern, to go to the second room on the left. There are 3 other doors before you get there. One on the left and two on the right.
@Jermaie - -10 awareness test please

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Awareness; Perception:39-10=29: 1d100 ⇒ 53 Again, nothing. Are there signs on any of the doors I pass?

Male

Yes there are signs on the doors but you can't read high or low gothic

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

What is this, a sandwich with words?!

Jermaie continues along with his task, though he curses himself for not being able to read the bastards' rotten language.

Male

Everyone passes the equipment into Jarmaie who puts it in the correct store room which is sparsely stocked with other food stuffs and consumables. The meager supplies you brought do little to fill it. It doesn't take long to empty the APC.

Awareness everyone please. -20 for Cort, Garion and Jermaie
Also Jermaie, could you roll a d10 for me. It's basically a luck roll. You want 6 or higher

Cormaeg:
Just as you finish up unloading the vehicle. You hear the beating of feet either side of the supply depo. It's coming your way.

I'll continue the story tomorrow. You have until then to react

Male Brawler WS 47, BS 34, S 41, T 52, Ag 32, Int 30, Per 26, WP 38, Fel 39, Wounds 16/16, FP 2/4

Uh oh...

Cormaeg moves over to Wikvaya and whispers softly.
"Don't look now, but I think they are surrounding the supply depot...they MAY be on to us...either way, people are coming here, so...be ready, just in case."

He then moves over to alert the others, one by one.

Male

The same 6 stormtroopers come hammering around the corners, 3 on each side. Their weapons are up and pointing directly at Cormeg, Wikvaya and Eirik. Eirik has the honor of having the melta-gun pointing at him.
"Weapons down! Hand's up" the one with the still lit ilo stick shouts

Eirik, Wikvaya and Cormeg another awareness test please. This time at a +20

Jermaie spots all this and sees Stern pull his laspistol but has enough time to duck back behind the corner before he is seen.

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Jermaie ducks out of the way, scared enough to even prevent himself from cursing out loud. "S#$$. Oh, this is bad, pretty bloody bad." His face contorts in alarm when he realizes he was forced to leave his weapons outside.

His mind racing, Jermaie looks about the room he's in, checking for any other doorways and looking for anything sharp he can wield as an impromptu weapon.

Wikvaya acts innocent and follows instructions, raising his hands. "What seems to be the problem?"

Speaking of, did we actually carry any of our weapons with us?

Male

"The General will tell you what the problem is. You're going to the cave"

I'm saying that your normal weapons are hidden in the vehicle. You currently have a Severan Dominate lasgun

Liberty's Edge

Male Male human Operator/Medic Wounds 11 Fate 1

1d100 ⇒ 83 nope...

Calm down men. We have done nothing wrong. We will go with them and everything will be sorted out.

Male

"One of them is still in here" Stern gestures into the storehouse. A storm trooper joins him at the doorway and shouts in.
"Come out with your hands high. Come out so we don't have to start shooting your friends!

I'll take it Eirik, Cormeg and Wikvaya have dropped their weapons

Male

And also Carno! It's so easy to forget comrades in this system

Male Brawler WS 47, BS 34, S 41, T 52, Ag 32, Int 30, Per 26, WP 38, Fel 39, Wounds 16/16, FP 2/4

Cormaeg flinches, very unsure of what to do, part of him really wants to just begin to shot now, if nothing else, the tension would ease with the issue being forced.
However, that would be sure to end in death, and playing along with whatever plane he DESPERATLY hoped Eirik had might also mean death, but it did not mean this very second death, and was therefor the wise choice.
Reluctantly, he ends up dropping his weapon.

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

Jermaie, still frantically searching around for a means of escape, hears the man's shouts. "Oh, piss." he says under his breath.

"Alright, alright, I'm comin' out. I'm not armed, so it'd be nice if ya' didn't shoot me." Jermaie walks out, his hands clear in the air.

As he walks by the storm trooper near the door, he says to the man. "Not pointin' the guns at us, right?"

Male

They very much are pointing their guns at you. It's past midnight here. I'll move on in the morning.

Male Weapon Specialist; Wounds: 1/12

I know, I know. That was Jermaie's attempt at being sarcastic.
