Having defeated the bearded devil Syrak has completed 2 silver crusade goals and can do non-lethal damage with only a -2 and 1/day can make a spell do half nonlethal.

    When I am GMing...

    In the case in which a player's unannounced absence is slowing down the pace of play, I may take actions for them that I believe to be appropriate. This will generally be after at least 16hrs of non-weekend/holiday time.

    I will take actions that I believe to be most appropriate for the character even if those actions use valuable resources or place the character into danger.

    If you expect to be missing, a quick note about your planned course of action can be helpful in determining your actions otherwise I will do my best in picking reasonable courses of action which align with your character's pattern of play.

    All that said, business as usual, just following instructions and posting a policy.

    Yes, I've been meaning to make this more explicit in my games too. Lately I've only been able to update my games about once every 24 hours so if you still haven't acted on the second day, I'm going to push forward. If the party is not struggling with the ongoing combat, this results in me just skipping your turn. I only bot when I think it is necessary for the safety/success of the party.

    I totally agree.
    As I'm slowing down on PBP lately (thesis almost finished!), I didn't put much effort to make a boting policy. But I usually wait for an answer of the player and delay the character if they are not struggling with the combat.

    Little question here: did you usually skip the optional fights in this campaign? I noticed DMS did skip it in SotSW.

    In PbP I almost always skip the optional fights, but that's my style. The exceptions are usually if I think the fight is interesting, which generally depends on whether it contains an ooze or a plant as they're my favorites, lol.

    Sadly the undead pegasi were CR 2. However, Dijjit is a druid good-aligned, so you can check this box :)

    I am back. Mother was taken to the hospital and I spent all day Friday with her, things turned up with the best possible results and she's back home today. She'll still need a bit of extra help so my posting may be a bit slower for the next week or so but you likely won't even notice the difference.
