Just a heads up, I'm gone until Sunday afternoon. Botting the wolverine now to make things faster :-)

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

So as we're pulling into the final scene of To Scale the Dragon, I need to figure out reporting. Paeter was here, even if Boldstrider wasn't. I don't mind, given the situation, simply reporting him in.

We should figure out what to do for the next round. Thoughts?

Aspenthar

Our sheet says Zinou (Pandoor) is running From the Tome of Righteous Repose.

We'll likely need another to join us though.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Chris R. (Thunderspirit) would do it.

The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

I'm fine with that. Go ahead and send him an invite.

Interested.

Welcome, Thunderspirit! :)

Guys, to be honest with the special coming up (CC), I think I might have too much on my plate to run both the special and the next scenario.

You may also have noticed that my posting is scarcer these last months. I have (at last) began to work in my field (pastor) for real after years of studies and thesis. This new job takes obviously a lot of my time and energy.

In conclusion, I'd be happy to hand over the next scenario to however is most able (and free) to run it.

However, I'll gladly take BS' scenario "the dalsine affair".

Sorry about this, guys!

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Don't apologize in the least!

Here's an idea. I can do one more, but if I can find one that I've prepped before that would be awesome, as it's less of an increase on bandwidth.

If someone WANTS to take over no problem. Otherwise I'll try to get options today

The Flaxseed Pathfinder Lodge

If you want to run something else, that's fine with me. I played Tome of Righteous Repose just a couple months ago and to be honest I didn't care for it. Kind of a boring dungeon crawl, but maybe that's because the GM wasn't that great and just kind of skimmed over everything to get us to the fights.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Do any of these work?

Perils of the Pirate Pact
Voice in the Void
Among the Dead
The Infernal Fault
The Rebel's Ransom
Among the Gods
The Immortal Conundrum

The Exchange

Thank you Chris.

I played Tome of Righteous Repose as well and didn't find it very interesting either...

What about 8-01 Portent's Peril? Did you already run it, Chris? I found that it was an interesting little scenario :) Or maybe 8-06 Reaping What We Sow.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Portent's Peril would be good, but unless I'm missing something we're all level 6 after To Scale the Dragon, and that's a 1-5, same with Reaping What We Sow.

The Exchange

Oh, indeed, you're right. (also you ninja'd me)

Either of them would be fine for me :)

I haven't played The Rebel's Ransom, Among the Gods, The Immortal Conundrum in standard either.

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Actually, how do you guys feel about

08-19 Treacherous Waves 3-7

I have to prep it for a convention anyways. Killing 2 birds with one stone is always helpful?

Male Mostly Harmless Incorrigible Punster 5/ Militant Grammarist 3/ Contrarian 2

That's fine with me.

Alternatively I could jump right in to GM something.

Either of those is fine.

Male Mostly Harmless Incorrigible Punster 5/ Militant Grammarist 3/ Contrarian 2

Also, RE: Righteous Repose — I was fortunate in that my experience with it was actually with the author, so there was a ton of background stuff he wove into the story. Reading through it afterward, it appears to be one of "those" scenarios that play best with that sort of prep. (Your mileage may vary.)

Male Mostly Harmless Incorrigible Punster 5/ Militant Grammarist 3/ Contrarian 2

So, with DM S lacking a bit of bandwidth at the moment, I can quickly start (due to previous prep) any of the following.

1-50: Fortune's Blight (5-9)
3-08: Among the Gods (3-7)
3-16: Midnight Mauler (3-7)
4-02: In Wrath's Shadow (3-7)
4-14: My Enemy's Enemy (3-7)
4-16: Fabric of Reality (5-9)
4-17: Tower of the Ironwood Watch (5-9)
5-02: Wardstone Patrol (3-7)
5-07: Port Godless (5-9)

MAP TEMPLATES | Social Combat | War for the Crown | Campaign Tracker |

Any of those work with a preference for:

4-14: My Enemy's Enemy (3-7)
4-16: Fabric of Reality (5-9)
4-17: Tower of the Ironwood Watch (5-9)

Merci, Chris! :)

Right then, going with 4-17: Tower of the Ironwood Watch.

We won't start in earnest until next Tuesday with Pandoor out; but y'all can check in for the briefing from Venture-Captain Sheila Heidmarch, as fine an example of a caring and concerned Venture-Captain of the Pathfinder Society as there is.

Yup, there are links to map 1, map 2 and handouts at the top, feel free to make use of those.

Also there's a link to our everchanging campaign outline and a record of our miserable failure to actually play nearly as quickly as we want to.

Yeah, that 11 day Prince of Augustana was after our reboot and pep talk but we obviously haven't been able to keep that pace up. It's a nice lofty goal though, as we've already been at this for 2 years and still have a long way to go to level 19 or 20.

I just realized that I hadn't updated Falco's profile to level 6 yet, which also means my saves and initiative should have been higher. When I went to adjust the initiative dice blocks on the Campaign Info tab I realized Falco's init was actually two lower than it should have been. Oops!

So everyone else should double-check the dice blocks and let me know if they need adjusting.

Also, would it be worth it to make dice blocks so the GM can roll saves? I can add that if you guys think you'll use it.

    Hello Mega-Mind GMs!

Got a rules question for you.

I have a monster delaying in the first round of combat, to take its swift/move/std actions after a rogue-type PC.

The rogue-type attacks the delaying monster.

Has the delaying monster ‘acted’ and is it therefore not flat-footed (for sneak attack implications)?

    CRB wrote:
Flat-Footed: At the start of a battle, before you have had a chance to act (specifically, before your first regular turn in the initiative order), you are flat-footed.

    Thanks!

I'm no "mega-mind GM" but I'll answer to the question as I would rule it.

I think that the part of the sentence "before you had a chance to act" is what answers the question. The monster had a chance to act and chose to delay. So it's no longer flat-footed.

    Cheers!

Sorry guys, I've been having a lot of problems getting on the Paizo site the last few days. Every time I try to get on to update the page won't load. "If your target (or the part of your target you’re aiming at, if it’s a big target) is at least 10 feet away from the nearest friendly character, you can avoid the –4 penalty, even if the creature you’re aiming at is engaged in melee with a friendly character." - CRB
