Kenri swings again at the chair, but is not able to connect. The chair slams it's arms at 1 Kenri, 2 Calchas: 1d2 ⇒ 2 Calchas.
Slam: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Thorleif fires another arrow at the chair, it sticks right into the chair's back. The chair already looks damaged heavily. And with Calchas slash it breaks apart.
Combat over

With the destruction of the animated chair, Thorleif tends to Kenri's wounds (pretty sure he's either in the negatives or only has 1 hp left).
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Once the magus is back on his feet, Thorlief turns to the group and says "Alright, we know that Paracountess Zarta has indeed been taken. Let's check the evidence section to see what they have against her."
Checking the 'Internal Security: Evidence' section.

Thorleif finds the evidence in locker #A23 in the evicence section. The evidence used to indict Zarta consists of a series of letters written in a halting hand that resembles the paracountess's. Upon closer examination, however, the letters' writing differs significantly from the note found in Zarta's study. The forged letters are addressed to a prominent House Thrune enemy, and in them "Zarta" discusses selling privileged Chelish information supposedly meant to foment political insurrection.
Zarta's personal travel logs, written in her natural hand, are also included. While the first entry - a trip to Absalom's Ivy District - does indeed match with the letters' indication of Zarta's supposed treasonous activities, the second entry proves the paracountess was away from Absalom during a time the letters claim she met with her conspirators in the Petal District.

Jumping in fright Kenri looks around, then talks to the air.
" I ..um... Yes I think we did. Heading back now.."
Looking around sheepishly...
" We should get back to the waiting room, only 20 minutes til the Ambassador arrives there...."

Oops, I misread that post. I will apply the healing to Calchas instead.
With the evidence and paperwork in hand, Thorleif turns and says "I agree, it's high-time we started making our way out of the viper's nest."

Is the disguise spell still in effect? if not this could be rough.
" Calchas maybe a little help with the disguise here...?"

It only lasts 10 minutes, so I'm guessing it'll have worn off by now.
He taps Kenri and himself with the wand.

Botting Harlynne to get this finished
Harlynne decides to pretend that she is a guest and is looking for the toilet. Bluff: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
You all make it back to the waiting area just in time. After a minute of waiting the ambassador joins. "I heard you have some information for me?" he says.

Quickly regaining his composure, Thorleif moves forward to offer a slight bow as he says "Yes, thank you for meeting with us, m'lady. We have a package containing sensitive information regarding Chelish interests in Sargava. We've been instructed by our Venture-Captain to place it in your hands only."
As he finishes, he draws forth the package from his backpack and hands it over to the Ambassador.

"Thank you. Venture-Captain? Do you mean Venture-Captain Valsin?" the ambassador says with a contemptuous expression. "Tell him, I'm grateful for his efforts to send four agents just to deliver a package." After a few seconds he continues "Do you need something else? I have important guests waiting for me."
I'm sending the chronicles today in the evening, please make sure to do your day job rolls until then :)

![]() |

"Eh, no, m'lady. The Venture Captain merely wished to ensure that the package remained secure during it's transfer. We'll take our leave now you wish, m'lady." With one final bow, Thorleif turns and heads for the spy's entrance, motioning to the rest of the party to follow.

Now that the Pathfinder Society knows where Zarta has been taken and who has taken her, they can get to work on either getting her back or at least figuring out how to deal with Tancred Desimire, who is now firmly in the Society's sights. With the false evidence used by Desimire, the Pathfinder Society may be able to prove to the Chelaxians that Zarta is innocent, though how they can do so without admitting they searched the embassy is hard to see.
When you report back to Venture Captain Valsin, he gives each of you a token stamped with the House of Thrune's insignia. These tokens, which the Pathfinder Society previously received from Zarta as a sign of her good will, bestow a +3 circumstance bonus on Diplomacy checks intended to influence high-standing members of House Thrune, the Chelish government, or a Hellknight order in good standing. This bonus remains in effect as long as the token remains on its owner's person; a token only imparts this bonus to the individual to whom it was given.
