You take the tunnel at the crown and after a few more yards it ends in front of another vent. At the wall next to it a centaur points at the vent with it's arrow.

Opening the vent without making too much noise needs a DC 15 Disable Device check followed by a DC 15 Dexterity Check to avoid the vent falling down to the floor.

Thorleif peers out into the room, getting a feeling for his surroundings before dropping right in.

This room is large and square. The walls glow with a gentle blue light, and the air feels unnaturally cold and dry. Shelves line the walls and stand in ranks through the middle of the room, punctuated by a wooden table and omate chairs. An imposing unoccupied desc faces the main entrance to the room. On an easel in one of the aisles is a map of the room.

Hearing the sounds of battle and the strange sound of metal-on-wood, he dashes around the corner, drawing his long blade. He sees a strange sight: his companions fighting what appears to be a moving chair, which is launching itself at them. Without asking any further questions, he darts forward and slashes at it.
