Thetsu pounds two blows into the unsuspecting head of the badass Skag and it roars in anger, great flapped maw opening as it lowly turns to face the monkey-man.

when it's my turn:

Dorla moves around in the air just enough to keep flying easily, and thrown another bomb at a normal skag.

attack: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25
damage: 4d6 + 7 ⇒ (4, 6, 2, 6) + 7 = 25

If the other Skag gets hit with splash damage, 11 damage.

Precise bombs, so other party members are safe from splash.

electric damage: 6d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 1, 2, 2, 1) = 13

If he survives

CMB to escape: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Ugash shocks the offending Skag, but it remains standing...barely.

Do you want to change that to a Gauntlet strike or something? It's on its last legs, so if you hit it it's down.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

You're wearing Full Plate, they come with.

Ugash nails the Skag in the snout, dropping it to the ground unconscious.

Waiting on Donovan before Dorla's action goes off. Currently two targets left, a single Skag next to Ugash, and the badass Fire Skag.

Donovan, I just realized...you don't have a Climb speed. You sure you want to follow after Thetsu? You'd have climbed 15 of 20 feet in a double move.

Just so I can keep track, how many of my daily bombs did it take to get here?

I'm confused... I thought I had already acted.

There is more than 1 Skagg, right? If yeas, I use my first attack to blind on of the unharmed ones and the second attack to finish off the fiery one.

Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23 damage: 1d6 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

None, since I'm assuming you gassed it up the night before.

And I didn't see where you acted this round. The problem is that last round you "Accompanied Thetsu" in his 20 foot climb up the ridge. So where are you, exactly? Did you do that or not?

I suppose I'm where Thetsu is, since I accompanied him.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

So Donovan spends 10 feet of movement climbing the last 5 feet up, and the next 50 moving to the edge of the Ridge, where he can see the large Skag 10 feet below.

It takes this chance to retaliate against Thetsu, as Dorla finishes off the final Skag.

Not sure how I can explain it any clearer. Thetsu climbed upwards 20 feet, then moved across the ridge until he was above the Badass, and then Flyng Kicked down to it. You followed. As you do not have a 30 foot Climb speed like Thetsu, and a 50 foot Land speed, it was slow going.

Thetsu, can you put spaces between your individual attacks like I do? Makes it easier to read.

The Badass is rocked, but stays standing.

It's getting late, so I'm going to set up Dorla's turn now

If the burning Skag is still alive on Dorla's turn, she keeps flying but gets within 10 feet of it and drops a flask of acid.

attack1d20 + 13 ⇒ (7) + 13 = 20
damage 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 acid damage

If the Fiery Skag is already dead, Dorla instead flys to Thetsu and fusses over his injuries, giving him an infusion of cure moderate wounds. She will take care of whatever healing everyone else needs after Thetsu is better.

Yours.

Anyways, primal warrior stance and move to attack the biggest enemy

Vital strike: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 326d6 + 19 ⇒ (4, 6, 4, 6, 3, 4) + 19 = 46

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Ugash steps up and delivers a brutal blow to the already bruised Badass, and it drops to the ground, head severed cleanly from its body.

I assume initiative order is ended??

Dorla flys down near Thetsu and gives him an infusion of cure moderate wounds. Then she turns to the others and asks if they need any healing.

Please let me know what level of cure infusion you need, Ugash.

Half-Orc Zweihander Sentinel 8; Hp: 95/105; AC 27 (FF 25, touch, 13), Saves +14, +8, +11; Init +1, Perc +6

15 to 20 point of curation would be fine

Dorla takes a moment to mix up an infusion of cure moderate wounds for Ugash, which she hands to him. Unless there is a houserule that removes rolling for damage healed, both Thetsu and Ugash get back 2d8+7 hit points. If it's not enough, she can make more.

I'm assuming you each role for your own hit points cured, is this right?

Then Dorla makes another fly for herself for later.

infusions used today: 1 level 1 (Thetsu's enlarge person carried over from previous day), 2 level 2 for cures, 2 level 3 for fly. Remaining are 5/4/2.

Thetsu licks his wounds in between speaking.

"You never know what a Skag might've eaten."

After drinking the Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds, Thetsu sets himself to cutting open the flaming Skag's belly.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

A wad of cash and some bullets fly out

The inner lining of its second stomach contains a surprisingly well preserved Potion of Cure Serous Wounds (with the smaller skags having cure lights wounds potions).

Dorlas' potion: 2d8 + 7 ⇒ (4, 6) + 7 = 17

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Eh, I figure if you can't have wands, might as well throw potions at you. Besides, health packs pop out of Skags anyway!

OK, who's got the potions from these beasts?

I assume Dorla still has a bit of time left on fly

Dorla flies up high to see what's ahead. She does not go far from right above the group, though. What does she see?

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

In the distance she can see, nothing jumps out at her as being a threat unless Ugash decides to drive them off the cliff.

We continue our journey.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Onward!

You travel for a few more hours, and make it to the cave around dusk. It looks surprisingly innocuous. There are no piles of bones or junk littering the front of the cave, and the cave mouth doesn't look particularly ominous or dark either. You can see a bit of a ways into it in the failing light, and the cave floor is clean and smooth. A little TOO clean and smooth for a cave in the middle of the desert.

Half-Orc Zweihander Sentinel 8; Hp: 95/105; AC 27 (FF 25, touch, 13), Saves +14, +8, +11; Init +1, Perc +6

If possible, Ugash will park the vehicle under a shadow. No time to waste, we have to be back before sunset - Ugash enters the cave

Back where? It took you 5 hours to get here. You're not getting back to town before dark.

Dorla follows Thetsu closely so she can see by the light from his torch.

Since no one else grabbed them, Dorla took the potions from the skags. She will use them on/give them to others as needed.

to speed things up, I'll just say now that I'm always going to take 10 on knowledge dungeoneering to identify monsters in the cave, can you please tell us whatever this reveals when we see the monsters? 10+19=29.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

Sounds good.

Edit: Argh! It didn't post. =/ Here's the short version:

You trek into the cave, which appears small..only 20 feet to the back wall. After a moment's searching, you all notice a seam on the back, and an out of place (for such a well-swept cave) rock. Pressing it opens the secret door in the back, leading deeper into the lair of whatever lives here.

Give me a marching order.

Thetsu takes the rear. He keeps an eye out for any animal denizens of the cave.

Dorla isn't much for melee fighting, so she lets others lead. She's near the middle. Chirrup is perched on her shoulder, looking around also.

Half-Orc Zweihander Sentinel 8; Hp: 95/105; AC 27 (FF 25, touch, 13), Saves +14, +8, +11; Init +1, Perc +6

Ugash goes second, because he forgot that perception is important in PF.

Male Human Monk 5 (Qinggong Master of Many Styles from the Sacred Mountain)/Fighter (Brawler) 3

And so the group pushes Donovan to the front of the group, their version of hazing the new guy.

Do you go forwards slowly (checking for traps and threats) or stride in like you own the place? I assume the former, but I also need to know if you cast any buffs in either case. If you do cast some buffs, roll me some Perception checks at the same time (or just say you're taking 10).

@Ugash: What is your active Stance, and what does it do?

Half-Orc Zweihander Sentinel 8; Hp: 95/105; AC 27 (FF 25, touch, 13), Saves +14, +8, +11; Init +1, Perc +6

Ugash count as a large creature for damage dices and CMB/CMD, I think

Does anyone need any infusions before we go in?

Dorla drinks her mutagen.

I'm not sure how all the details of this work. The mutagen gives +2 natural armor, +4 to dex, and -2 to wisdom. Does the natural armor bonus from mutagen stack with the natural armor bonus from the character bonuses? Actually, I'm not sure I get much benefit at all from this mutagen. The natural armor probably doesn't stack, my armor class only goes up by one because of the max dex on my armor, and the wisdom penalty hurts my perception.

Male Ellan Psychic Warrior 9 - 93/93 HP AC 31 (tch 18; ff 25); CMD 27 (+4 vs Disarm/Dirty Trick); Fort +13, Ref +14, Will +13; Low-light Vision/Darkvision; Perception+ 17; Sense Motive +17; Initiative +11

Donovan focuses his mind to the task of detecting possible opponents.

i.e.: I cast Detect Hostile Intent.

The Natural Armor stacks just fine (Enhancement bonus vs Alchemical bonus. Remember differently typed bonuses to the same thing always stack, so if you drank an Extract of Cat's Grace your Mutagen would stack as well).

Remember that the Dex also adds +2 to your attack rolls with Bombs and other ranged weapons as well.

As for the armor...I need to work something out with you. There are some kinks to not having most magic items be available, and this is one of them (Dex based characters are kinda screwed without Bracers of Armor once they get to the high levels of Dex you're at).

I'm thinking of introducing a new Special Material, and have it be "Mithral+" or something that completely takes away the Max Dex bonus from Light armor for an extra 1-2k cost (so it'd be 2-3k base price for your Mithral+ Chain Shirt, before magic Enhancement). Or just have it be a Psionic armor ability. "Transdimensional Armor" or some such. For now, act as if you have no Dex limit, I'll work out the cost later, because this problem will just get worse.

Donovan strides forward, and the tunnel begins sloping downward. He notices something odd, the cave walls have holes in them at random intervals, all uniform in shape and size. He feels a flash of hostile intent as he passes each hole, but it passes swiftly.

Also for real, roll those 10 or so Perception checks. Want to see if this works better for everyone than me rolling Perception for traps and stealthy creatures. And do you do anything about the holes?

Male Ellan Psychic Warrior 9 - 93/93 HP AC 31 (tch 18; ff 25); CMD 27 (+4 vs Disarm/Dirty Trick); Fort +13, Ref +14, Will +13; Low-light Vision/Darkvision; Perception+ 17; Sense Motive +17; Initiative +11

Since there is nothing preventing us from taking 10, it's easier to assume we are constantly taking 10 on Perception. Makes more sense too (IMHO).

"Well... Someone or something doesn't want us around these holes." Donovan shrugs. "Then again, unless you guys brought a few tons of mortar, I don't think we can block them..."

Perception Storm: 10d20 ⇒ (13, 10, 19, 6, 15, 5, 10, 13, 2, 1) = 94

So a 29, 26, 35, 22, 31, 21, 26, 29, 18, 17
Plus if Scent gives me any additional information.
