Minwae |

If they are on the map I think we can see them, right? And we still need to choose if the ranger fights with us. I am good either way I guess. My vote would be no, but am fine if others want him along of if the DM will enjoy the game more playing him.
Jauhar, I think I count 4 goblins guarding the entrance from here. No reason to scout them and no likely way to get by them without taking them out. WE lack the firepower to take them from range. We either bluff them as we close or charge them.

Minwae |

Not trying to metagame. Just not sure what we know and what we do not. When I run I only put what I what my players to see on the map. Our DM seems to be excellent with maps. My take is we have seen them. I am willing to be corrected, but until we do, my opinion is as valid at least to me.

Ras Jauhar son to Khalid Mansu |

Your opinion is valid, but don't discredit others as a result. Best option wait for the DM as I am doing. Its better to assume the least rather than the most when you are assuming.

DM Stylz |

Both points are valid and the goblins are visible. But the current distance you can only assume they are goblins. Currently they could be kobolds or any other small creature. The reason Blask is ther right now is to tie up a loose end story wise. I am cool either way with keeping or discarding him from combat(s).
Trey, while walking to the cave site, Blask will talk about going into the forest with his father and hunting prey for dinner. He will go over basic survival knowledge (ie moss grows on north side of trees, never drink standing water even if it looks clear and some of the local foliage). He isn't from this area exactly he is using knowledge from his area.
Was anyone gonna move :)

DM Stylz |

Fizz:
If possible can you give me a letter/number coordinate otherwise I will just guess at what you mean :)
Everyone:
As last combat, I will put objects on map you can see. (ie, the goblins were in their tents until Minwae made a lot of noise; then they appeared)
Hope this makes sense and ends the questions of what is seen/unseen :)

Fizzwiddle Glockenfleffor XXII |

Duh! Sorry! AD 28 From there he will whisper back to Minwae
Fizzy has his whip in one hand and his dagger in the other (with the buckler)
readied action to begin Inspire courage as soon as any party member makes an attack +1 Hit and Damage and Will saves vs Fear
EDIT note Message cast on Minwae by Fizzy, otherwise I couldnt whisper to him

Ras Jauhar son to Khalid Mansu |

two people answered you in the discussion. Stlyz and myself...blink
Loading up, he takes a spear and long spear, both stowed along his back.
Finally takes out the spear thrower, from the pack of my horse. Load it with a spear.
That would be well over a turns set of actions, but as were not in combat. Moving to more of a combat turn orientation.
With a whisper, Keep up then if you are so ready
At a run from ak41 to w28.

Fizzwiddle Glockenfleffor XXII |

Dont forget your inspire courage buff folks as soon as ANY combat is initiated Fizz has a readied action to start his song
Buddy you're a boy make a big noise
Playin' in the street gonna be a big man some day
You got mud on yo' face
You big disgrace
Kickin' your can all over the place

DM Stylz |

Map updated
Perceptions top to bottom: DC 10 vs Ras and DC 20 vs Fizz
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6
1d20 - 1 ⇒ (18) - 1 = 17
The two Goblins at the "bookends" will notice Ras Juhuar streaking across the open fields to get in a better position to attack. They have no idea where Fizzy is. Fizzy noticing the Goblins see Ras, will begin his inspirational song. The Goblins let out a shrill and do their best to ready an attack.
Initiatives:
Auga: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20
Fizz: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Minwae: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Ras: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Trey: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Goblins (bow): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Goblins (sword: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Blask: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
So Initiative Order is...
Goblins (sword) 26
Minwae 23
Auga 20
Blask 17
Ras 15
Goblins (bow) 13
Fizz 13
Trey 10
EDIT:
The two Goblins within the bookends, are surprisingly on guard for any threats that may come at their home. They move up 30' and ready an attack for anyone that is foolish enough to come up to face them in melee.
Next up are Minwae/Auga/Blask/Ras :)

Minwae |

Minwae moves silently full speed (he can do that without penalty) to close the distance and tries to keep some concealment as he does so.
Can he move strait ahead under the big tree to that wall/pile of rocks?
Move Silently: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

Auga Ignis |

Sorry it took so long to post. I will do better.
Prior action At mention of the goblins Ignis drew his short spear.
Combat action Ignis moves forward at speed to AL27
I'm going to make these goblins burn! I think they will enjoy that. Let no one say I'm not accommodating.

DM Stylz |

If Blask had one then sure Minwae you could, lol. Auga, no worries, it is holliday season so I wasn't worried :)
Blask will draw his battleaxe and light shied as he moves forward to wade into the combat zone. Moves to AF 29, 30'
Come get me you little pukes!! Blask yells to draw attention to himself compared to the more squishy Minwae.
-----------------------------------------------------
Since Minwae, you didn't attempt a stealth check I will assume that you only tried to move silently. The Goblins obviously spot you attempting to move towards the pile of rocks. Also you will have to essentially run to get to AH23..although I guess you will have 100% full cover towards the enemy since you are behind some rocks :)
-------------------------------------------------------
Ras your turn :)

Ras Jauhar son to Khalid Mansu |

Round 2 11/11 HP Inspire Courage
Moving to ac23 and chucking a spear at the goblin in ah15.
The spear thrower already being loaded, makes the range on the spear 40 feet.
Ranged thrown Spear 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10, confrim 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 1 = 13, damage 1d8 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 1 = 9,
Once its in flight, quick draw spear.

Fizzwiddle Glockenfleffor XXII |

Fizzy will continue to double move to behind the rocks. to AI 23
His song Continues
'we will we will slay you
We will we will slay you'
Buddy you're a young gob hard gob
Shoutin' in the woods gonna take on the world some day
You got blood on yo' face
You big disgrace
Wavin' your weapons all over the place
'we will we will slay you'
Singin'
'we will we will slay you'

Ras Jauhar son to Khalid Mansu |

aa23 is the best I can do
I normally use hexes and will occasionally forget diagonal movement, stupid as that rule is. A spear thrower doubles the range of a spear by the way, 20 changes to 40 feat. A miss is still a miss either way.

DM Stylz |

Map updated...no worries :) i understand that movement can be utterly stupid at times. Charging is dumb as well, one should be able to move as long as the charge is at least 10'. Anyways, will adjust accordingly.
----------------------------------------------------------
Seeing the Human chuck a spear at his comrade, the two slower Goblins rush up to join the fray. Two shortbow wielding Goblins rush up and take a shot each at the spear thrower.
Goblin AB on Ras
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 1 *MISS*
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Goblin AG on Ras
Attack: 1d20 ⇒ 18 *HIT*
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
----------------------------------------------------------
Fizzy will continue singing as stated in a previous post. I assume you're going audio component Bardic Music used 2 rounds :)
Trey up next :) then Sword Goblins

Trey Merosa |

Trey approaching form the back follows the road catching up with the group.
keeping her eyes open for those in need of her healin touch.
We should try and capture one maybe he can give us more information about this lair she calls to her companions
move to Z-32

DM Stylz |

Going to work soon, map not updated yet but will be as soon as I can. Might not me until tomorrow though. Sorry for any inconvenience :)
ROUND 1 RECAP:
The motley band of heroes spotted the Goblin enemy lair. The sneaky duo of Fizzwiddle and Minwae encroach up to take a better stock of what may be to come. When satisified with what’s there, Fizzwiddle whispers back to Ras to ready the attack.
Ras then streaks across the battlefield hoping to catch the Goblins off-guard, but he isn’t the most nimble on his feet and two of the sentry notices him. Goblins cry out an attack is forthcoming, but strangely enough it’s the two once oblivious guards that are quicker to react then the original two that spotted the intruder(s).
Fizzwiddle, knowing combat is going to take place in mere moments prepares to rally his fighting compatriots on. He starts to sing his version of a battle-cry and keeps the morale of his fighting folk high and unstoppable, all the while doing his best to remain hidden from any attacks the Goblins may think about doing.
The two sword wielding Goblins rush forward to attack, but the threat is still to far away to do anything about. Since there in no clear way to be able to advance and attempt to dismember a Goblin, the trio of Minwae, Auga and Blask, move forward to engage the enemy. Blask hoping to direct some attacks, calls out insults to the Goblins.
Ras Jauhar steps forward, spear thrower in hand in uncorks a spear in the general direction of one of the Goblin sentry, but overcompensates for the distance traveled and the unusually quick-footed nature of the pesky enemy.
After seeing one of their man receive an attempted attack, the final two guards step up and let loose two arrows towards the blatant aggressor. Attempting to compensate for the entire overhang from the branches, the first Goblin shoots the arrow directly into the treetop. -2 cover, -2 distance (factored in wrong), hence +0 to attack at the time..The second Goblin’s aim is true and connects squarely with Ras thigh muscle. 4 damage. Trey moves up to assist his fellow combatants, and cries out to attempt to take one alive in hopes to gain information about what they are getting into.

DM Stylz |

ROUND 2 BEGINS: map updated
Both Goblins carrying swords, rush towards the clear threat of Ras, not realizing that the fighter has a slight edge up on them given his reach with his longspear.
You can take an AOO against the guy that stopped at AA 22
Goblin AA 22
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 *MISS*
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Goblin AB 22
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 *MISS*
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
AC is 14 for both charging Goblins
------------------------------------------
Next up Minwae, Auga, Blask, Ras

Minwae |

Minwae tries to moves silently, but at regular speed to AC21 to flank with Ras Jauhar.
Move Silently: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 I really should always try to move silently since there is no movement penalty for me.
Long Sword: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 4 + 2 = 241d8 + 3 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 3 + (2) = 7

Ras Jauhar son to Khalid Mansu |

I didn't have my long spear out, I quick drew a regular spear with the intent to throw it.
Five foot step to z24, dropping spear and spear thrower, quick draw long spear, Power Attack aa21 goblin. Long Spear 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16, confrim 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8, damage 1d8 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Auga Ignis |

Spells Per Day 1st level: 4/4
Ha ha, let's help this Human out of this mess.
Ignis moves towards the goblins attacking Ras. He focuses his fiery might into the goblin's weapon, and as his eyes burn, so does the goblin's weapon.
Ignis moves to AG24 and casts Burning Disarm on goblin at AB22
Burning Disarm 1d4 ⇒ 3 DC 14 reflex to drop weapon and avoid damage

DM Stylz |

true...so I will just redirect your melee attack to the other one :)
Due to Minwae going before you Auga, the Goblin you targeted in AB will be dead before you get burning disarm off. From L 27, I can put you in AF 25, that will be your move action then you can target the Goblin in AA before Ras takes his turn. Will that be acceptable?
--------------------------
Reflex save of a total of 10 will stand if Auga burning disamrs the Goblin in AA
--------------------------
Blask will double move up towards the Goblins with bows
--------------------------
Both Goblin archers will set their sights on the approaching Blask. Fire a arrow each, the proceed to move back 30' closer to the entracne of the cave.
Goblin AB
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Goblin AG
Attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
-----------------------------
Next up Fizz, then Trey :)

Fizzwiddle Glockenfleffor XXII |

Fizzy ceases singing his song. drops inspire courage He moves out to AG 22 and drops prone bonus against arrows. Then he proceeds to mock the Goblin at AG 8
Hey Gobbo you shoot worse than a halfing with a piece of cake in his mouth and both hands stuck in cookie jars!

DM Stylz |

Will save for affected goblin:
Will: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (19) - 1 = 18 vs. DC 15 *SAVE*
On a side note, is everyone having fun and enjoying the Round Recap bits. Just want to get a general feel of everyone's views and thoughts. Plus I know the plot hasn't been revealed but I promise you it will be soon. I appreciate everyone sticking with it :)

DM Stylz |

ROUND 2 RECAP:
Seeing that no enemies are coming to them, the two sword wielding Goblins rush after the only reachable threat in Ras. They charge in with reckless abandon, each attempting to take a chunk of flesh with each swing. Unfortunately both Goblins’ swings are pathetic failures and they leave themselves open for a retaliatory strike.
Minwae sneaked up swiftly while one of the Goblins was preoccupied with Ras, to deliver a precise and fatal blow to one of the hostile enemies. Right as Minwae delivers his fierce blow, the Goblin turns around just in time to see the Ifrit stare immensely at him. A brief flash of flame sparks in Auga’s eyes, and you all hear the Goblin yell out in pain and drop his weapon.
Ras, seeing the obvious opening in the fights, takes out his long spear as he takes a quick step backwards to allow proper extension in the jab. He puts all his weight into the jab, and pierces the already bloodied Goblin through his skull and out the back. Then removing the spear from whence it was lodged.
Blask seeing the two possible threats drop, decides to approach the bow wielding Goblins to draw their attacks, quickly but with cause for protection.
The two bow wielding Goblins, seeing Blask approach both take aim at the new threat. Unfortunately for them their arrows both fly far off their intended course, and break on the large pile of rocks behind Blask where Minwae was hiding.
Trey seeing no enemy within attack range and her allies all for te better, decides to simply move closer to the battle.

Minwae |

Minwae assess the situation.
He will double move all the way to AB9 believing the goblin cannot take an attack of opportunity while holding his bow.

DM Stylz |

MAP UPDATED :)
Each Goblin will take a quick step backwards, to ensure they are not accosted while taking aim at their respective targets.
One Goblin takes careful aim at Blask, since he has proven to be a threat. While his combat brother takes aim at Minwae with extreme prejudice.
