I had a game with an AM BARBARIAN type. Took a Half-Elf Wildcaller Synthesist. . . It was sickening. 600' charge with pounce is so broken.
At any rate, if I took Leadership it would be to up an Improved Familiar.

With your whole succubus theme, you should take a Kyton with levels in Fighter, give the Bodyguard feats, dress him in a gimp hood and play him as a masochist who you've conditioned to derive pleasure from diving in front of attacks meant for you.

As of this point, I don't know where the campaign is taking place. Character development wise, I was thinking about spending out some of my funds to either:
1) start assuming influence and control over some current red mantis factions; or
2) create a new competing red mantis organization that is true to the religion and devoid of the corruptions that the character saw in the original organization, which led to his untimely betrayal.
Ultimately, at 7th level I would have the character take Leadership to accommodate this. I don't know that I'd have the cohort around all the time. He'd probably be more of his second in command to run his assets or provide occasional mission support during the campaign.
I didn't know if this would be something you'd want me to actively role play in the game or to just state he is doing this during down time.

Not trying to rain on anyone's parade in regards to character builds, as I am doing it too. If several of us are taking Leadership, I sincerely encourage us to use it as Mantis suggested, as people holding down our assets and holdings while we are gone. Otherwise things are going to get very convoluted very fast.
Personally, these are my plans/hopes for it.
1) Followers will be soldiers. Straight forward.
2) Cohort, a wizard, apprentice to the wizard who helped bind Dreadmaiul to Krovax. If allowed by ARC, he has somehow learned of Krovax's return and sought him out to help him take vengeance on the assassins who killed his master (same night Krovax was assassinated).
All of which will remain at whatever we can establish as base holdings unless desperately needed.
I see that as a good long term goal but due to the plots requirement of traveling to distance parts of the world quickly a stationary base of operations would be hard to establish and maintain currently. Two options would be to wait until traveliing vast distances is easier through magic and such or maybe some form of mobile base of operations.

My thought was not a single base of operations but to start to put contacts in cities all over the globe to build a network. Have the cohort travel around to oversee them and keep the character posted on how things are going.

Really good idea. I've done something similar with a merchant character, having the followers be employees at outlets all over the place. It means no matter where you go, you'll have local support and keeps the logistical headaches that usually come with having a bunch of followers at bay.

Usually either 8 hours or once combat ensues i give you a 50/50 chance of it remaining intact. Weather can change that though, rain ruins disguises fast.
