Homo Sapien Current Arena Map; Current Monster Stats

a surggestion DM, since we have a Summoner in the group tough might wanna add 1-2 more CR and max out the life of the monsters. Same prob I have with my group when I DM.

So far ARC has been pretty good at making us feel like we're about one bad roll away from dying.

This one was easier than his usual, and I think was designed to be. I'm sure things will ramp up when we get to the ruins.

If things need to be made harder, maxing HP is a good way to go. Please don;t just add HD though. That increases too many other variables also.

So, I am posting a suggestion to use summoner pets v. witch pets because they last longer, and because they are ability summon, not spell slot summons. Not sure how much of summoner class features are common knowledge, so . . . disregard if inappropriate.

Sorry about infrequent updates and answers lately. Ive been dealing with a bad cold on top of preparing for christmas and work. Hopefully everything will settle down before new years but I doubt i will have any chance to post between the 24th and the 26th due to six christmases in six cities. Appologies in advance.

I have a 200 mile drive Sunday to get to Christmas with the in-laws. Monday, a 90 mile drive for Christmas with the Grandparents, then another 90 miles Wednesday (Back to the in-laws), 160 miles on Thursday (Daughter's orthodontics appointment), then 200 miles on Saturday to get us all home. Loot time! Just in time for Christmas.

For you new folks, our method of dividing things up has been pretty simple. Basically we give appropriate things to the people who need them most/are best suited for them. We don't bother with making sure everyone's gear cost exactly matches everyone else's.

For items everyone can use we look at the party's weaknesses and give the item to the person who is weakest in the area the item covers.

For cash gems, or items no one has use for, we liquidate them and divide up the money equally, adding in a share for a 'party fund' which Krovax is keeping track of.

I've marked off the list by type with my suggestions for doling them out. Speak up if you disagree or have other suggestions.

Arcane Scroll, Mnemonic enhancer {4th/7th} Ezra. (best spell list of those with the necessary UMD)
Arcane Scroll, Fireball {3rd/5th} Aluria (Best UMD, needs some ranged/AoE offensive options)
Arcane Scroll, Protection from energy {3rd/5th} Krovax (only one in the party who can cast it as an arcane spell)

having an un-fatigable water drake to tow the boat might come in really handy.

I was going to see if Roar could tow the boat. Horses swim just fine, and mine happens to have Endurance and a Push/Pull/Drag capacity of over 15,000 pounds.

If ARC is fine with it, I will make whatever roll is appropriate for Dreadmaul to make to help pull the ship.

Updated my Character sheet, added the Cloak of Resistance +2. SOrry that took so long, I couldn't remember which item I had gotten from the group loot, and a lot of discussion to wade through.

Before we fully divide loot, remember the 2 NPCs also are getting half shares of loot. And for the record, Krovax has a +14 UMD, should the need for oddball magic use items come up.

They are getting one half shares, between them, once they get through the first ziggurat (and an additional half share for each additional one)

I added the potions with my name on them in the loot to my character sheet. I'll also note that I have UMD for any items that might not fit perfectly with others abilities.

He would also take the sealing wax to put with his forgery kit if no one else wanted it.

I too have removed the scroll marked as mine as well as the sealing wax Shadow requested. Also the gear Leon stated for himself. As others post that they have added the gear to their characters, I will remove it from the party fund.

DM, is the cough occasional or do I think it's going to hinder my scouting?

Once I have an idea of how bad the cough is then I'll make the decision on whether to use one of the vials.


Its erratic. You'll get small coughing fits occassionally but you can tell it'll be getting worse.
