Heshan takes a quick look inside but sees nothing special. The cuisine seems to be vastly different from what humans might find tasty, but one can't be sure without sampling.

Everyone in the kitchen freezes as the door is opened by unexpected visitors.

Seeing there is another door in this dining room still to check, Ohrmizd flies around the corner and checks on this one.

If there is nothing here but the stairs, then Ohrmizd takes the stairs too, trying to see a bit ahead of the party.

Ohrmizd closes the door on the puzzled salamanders.

The next room is also a disappointment in regards to holy water. This was clearly at one time the living quarters of someone important. However, that use seems to have ended long ago, and the contents have been thoroughly looted and destroyed, leaving little more than splintered fragments of furniture and ornaments.

Walking down the stairs you find, based on the composite bows and quivers hanging next to its arrowslits, a guardroom. Against the east
wall are four brass cages, no more than three feet high, covered by dark linen shrouds.

Ohrmizd scans the new area with detect magic "If I understood correctly, our theory is one of these groups might be smuggling some of the holy water. But if we don't find anything here we can always try to fabricate our own"

"I wonder what is inside these brass cages" cautiously, Ohrmizd checks behind the linen shroud of the cages to see their contents.

The first cage is empty, but beneath the second cloth Ohrmizd finds a bird. It looks like a very angry chicken/lizard hybrid with smoke and tiny tendrils of flame rising from the creatures’ feathers. And as the bird stares back at Ohrmizd he feels himself getting hot.

The Kheleshite drapes back the cage, breaking the gaze from reaching anyone else "It might be fun to take this one with us"

Picking up the draped cage on place of his scimitar, Ohrmizd flies to the door here and looks to inspect forward the area.

Short couches and divans line the walls of this chamber, while multiple rough pallets cover the floors. Currently occupying this chamber are three kobold slaves that are too injured to perform their duties. They lie listlessly on the rough pallets, with only meager bowls of meal and half-evaporated cups of water provided.

"We will be sure heed those warnings if it ever wanted a hug from us." Of course the other information is more relevant to him as it could be difficult for his magic to affect him. The limited nature of the room brought out another problem for him. His best option seems to be an older one: blinding the creature with fine sand in his area.

Casting Glitterdust. DC 17 Will Save to negate. I should be able to cast it behind the devil without hitting Ohrmizd.

"Seems it has callus this one!" the Sarenrite adjusts his judgement from protection to smiting to align Zenzirad to cause good damage while he keeps banning the devil.

Ok, how hurt is everyone? I think everyone is down some so I am channeling to heal all of us. I will include the poor kobolds for good karma...
Also, @Foxy, when you tell us that there is X loot in the room ("chest under the bed that holds 225 sp, 32 gp, and a key."), are you assuming that we are using detect magic and do a proper search, or are you just giving us the obvious stuff? (ie. should we still be making perception checks and stating we are using detect magic)

Omari gathers everyone in, near the poor sick kobolds for good karma, and channels Erastil's might to heal our wounds...

Rolling to find tressure only slows down the game. I wpuld give all and if something needs searching I'll spoiler it. There is still the chance that I forget it completely and you walk blissfully ignorant through piles of gold.
As for the kobolds I think I used the wrong word. The shackles would be riveted, not bolted.

With that much holy energy the kobolds look pristine again. "<This is the key to the wailing djinn's prison cell.>"

The noise suggests that it has to be the room next to the devil's quarter.

Then, he moves on to the devil's quarter to check about this prison and the aforementioned djinn.

Omari interjects "Wait up Ohrmizd, listen at the door to the cell before you open it. If the djinn has been imprisoned a long time, it might actually be crazy; it might attack you. If it sounds crazy, we might do better yelling through the door (especially if it has a meal slot or some such) before opening it."

The east side of this room is separated by a wall of closely set bars of brass. A stoutly locked door stands at the southern end.

Only one prisoner languishes within the cell, a wailing and sobbing djinn. All attempts to communicate with him are met with more sobbing and wailing.

At the sight of the sobbing djinn, the Keleshite tries to kindly talk to him "Hello, who are you? Has Javhul locked you here? We might have common interests..."

Seeing how he keeps sobbing he talks with him in Auran "Are you ok?"

And assuming there is no reaction, he frowns and turns to the group "This is strange, what do you think it is afflicting him?"
