All right, guys: clearly this game is bearing the brunt of my holiday-related slowdown.
My Riddleport game is in combat, so I'm limping along trying to keep that going; and my We B4 Goblins game is in its last encounter and so close to being the first campaign I actually finish running in PbP.
I'm going to get a new post up in here this weekend and try to get some momentum going again. The good news is that once my goblin game is over, I'll be spread a lot less thin, GMing-wise.

Not a worry Joana - I'm guessing time will get scarce for people over the next month or so anyhows. I'm happy to run as fast or slow as you like - I've got the benefit of actually having work to do (somewhat of an oilfield rarity at present) so I'll probably only be taking a couple of days off through the holiday period.
How did you find DMing for a bunch of rabid half-baked green midgets?... the goblins I mean...

Just a quick one - I'll be off for a short holiday sojourn down to Singapore starting tomorrow and stretching through to the 27th of December. As expected I'll be a wee bit incommunicado through that time and probably won't be posting.
Merry Christmas to all regardless and I hope that you all get to descend into tryptophanic nirvana.

Happy holidays and safe travels to those who will be traveling!
I'm not even going to pretend that I'm likely to get this game updated before Christmas, but after the holiday I'll make it a priority to get the maps ready that we're going to need and get the gameplay thread moving again by Mark's return.

Well, I just typed this reminder in the Discussion thread before the last encounter:
These are not cold iron teeth, Smuz. Everyone but Poog, please remember your temporary hp from licking your toads! Everyone but Chuffy, remember your haste-cake bonuses!
So, yeah, if any of those sentence make sense to you, You May Be A Goblin.

Alicia Dawnblade wrote:"Who owned that flophouse before Father Hound?" she asks."That is a very clever question." Marikel hides a look of admiration. "We can probably find out from one of the old timers, maybe Omast if he can spare a moment."
Before moving on, did someone intend to follow up on this?
If you didn't want to ask Omast, Alicia has an in with Lessie Crumkin, who is known to be a local history buff, and Jess Meeson is likely to know the answer as well.

Well, yesterday was my birthday....
But it's really just coincidence that both my games hit 3rd level at the same time. :)
Both recommended level-up points are weirdly kind of in the middle of the expected adventuring day so it seemed easier to level you up the night before. That 'night before' just happened to hit at the same time in both games.

Also, seven days ago was Ansha's birthday...and Tebati's too.
Huh, we were supposed to get some sort of boon for remembering that in-game ... if the game had ever gotten to Pharast. :P
Happy birthday Joana... and the other March babies. I'll join you all on the 29th :-)
Yeah, I remember from Legacy of Fire, you, me, and AK all had March birthdays. I think his is in between mine and yours.
...That is the exact same roll I got for HP at second level.
The wizard in my Riddleport game duplicated his previous hp roll as well. Only his were 2s. :P

Okay. Marikel takes a level of Cleric and rolls 3hp + 2hp for Con and +1hp Favoured Class. He gets 3 skill points (2 Cleric +1 Human) so I upped his Diplomacy and Sense Motive from 2 to 3 ranks. I figure he has some Knowledge (Religion) so added the 3rd point there at the expense of his Heal skill, which is probably more faith focused.
As a Cleric 3, he gets 2nd level spells, so I added Hold Person, Sound Burst (bonus Wis spell) and the War domain spell Spiritual Weapon.
His 3rd level feat is Weapon Focus (Longsword). I was very tempted by Combat Casting, as Marikel is very... involved... in battle. :-)

Marikel looks down at Tyari's hand on his wrist and back to her dark eyes.
"Tyari? I lo..."
Thank you for making my last few moments on earth socially awkward./Mr.Burns

Marikel looks good.

The Divine hunter archetype replaces teamwork feats.
It works out great because I don't really like teamwork feats. :)

Lol!
What?! No way! I'm team guy all the way! You can just call me, Team. Team-O. Team-o-rama. Mr. Team. Team-Man. Dream Team. The Steam of Team. The Teamster. Teeeam.
The previous bit is credit to Rob Schneider, the copy machine guy. :)
Heck, my middle name is Team. I put the T in team otherwise we're just... um... eam. You see? It doesn't even make sense without the T. :P

LOL!
Man I love me some Leon. That dude cracks me up. I've always wanted to be just like... I mean, man that dude is so about himself. Sheesh. I swear. Some people.
Reporter: "There's no 'I' in team."
Leon: "Yeah well there ain't no we either."
LOL!
