there isn't much to be seen. Even with your innate sense of direction, this place makes little sense. There are a few paths that are stable, however.

you walk right into the lair of a balor lord. As you walk in, the cave closes behind you.
"Hello, new spawn."
he is surrounded with baubu and succubi.

your soul is instantly devoured, and made into a perma-dominated succubus. As you aren't dead, the sim doesn't end, and you are there till Settro or someone else turns it off.
Renkai Urmas
The return of Melody alongside Renkai was disconcerting for Repp - though he chose not to broadcast that emotion to the group. So many big people here - all of whom might be dangerous. All of whom could overpower him. He couldnt' take that risk - couldn't trust that the school's wards would do as everyone said that would. He had to take action.
He sets his mind to detecting the thoughts of the folks in the room - wishing to know before hand if they were going to be agressive towards him.
Repp is attempting to detect the surface thoughts of every person in the room. This is a mind-affecting ability. Will save is DC33. It has no special ability to overcome immunities or break through enchantments protecting the mind.
Renkai's mind registers as perfectly blank black surface with a plain white mask on the blackness...
However Renkai gives you a warning glance, and steps in front of melody slightly, nonverbally saying she is protected by him
Vai Sunwake
"Uhh...we use call signs over the radio. I don't think I'm supposed to say who I am..."
Repost
"Oh..." Vai says, sounding slightly disappointed, but not objecting if the pilot felt he had a need for secrecy. Vai definitely didn't recognize the voice anyway. "Well, that's fine I guess. I'm not going to make you do anything that would get James mad at you, or that would put you at risk."
She shifts a little akwardly, unsure how to proceed. It was strange, but despite the huge robot there that could probably crush her with a moment's notice, she did not feel afraid. She couldn't even disable it either, as her Champion ability to do so what spent for the day. "They should be done soon I think." she offers hopefully, having no real idea if they would be done soon or not.

Ori Reading wrote:"True. But I have never found a demon that ever choose not to do harm to others without an altirior motive. As for a demon not having a choice. The same could be said of anyone living under the rule of a kingdom. Just because there lord wills them to do evil acts doesn't remove there choices. Just as a human knight can choose not to follow there lords order to massecure a village. Things may become difficult for them After but they still can still choose a path of life rather than death. Maybe these demons here will prove that they strive to break the orders of there lords. I won't hold my breath till I have seen them save lives with no other motive than to save lives." His expression and voice held little emotion as he talked.
She snorted. "Poppycock! Races aren't damned or redeemed in blocks! It happens a person at a time. Each individual makes their own choices. Demons rarely have one. The same can be said for angels."
"Well, to begin with, I clearly need to introduce you to the demon who works in the infirmary. I believe that saving lives and helping people is kind of his raison d'etre."
"Beyond that.....while I think your example is overly simplistic and truly doesn't take into account the lack of choice of beings of either good or evil and how hard they have to fight to make a choice that goes against their basic nature, it actually doesn't hold up even for mere mortals. That human knight is faced with a much more difficult choice than do I massacre the village. You see, if he doesn't massacre the village, the lord who ordered it is going to torture and kill the knight's family. After all, it's an evil kingdom prone to slaughtering villagers for kicks. Most people in that situation would follow orders rather than risk their loved ones. It's easier to just take the punishment yourself, but life is rarely easy or simple."
She sighed. "Our first argument and it just had to be on theology and the basic nature of good and evil."

Repp is attempting to detect the surface thoughts of every person in the room. This is a mind-affecting ability. Will save is DC33. It has no special ability to overcome immunities or break through enchantments protecting the mind.
If anyone has Detect Magic active, they can see a cone of magical energy radiating out from Repp's forehead to envelop everyone in the room. Minds trained for such things may notice a very subtle probing, though from whom is not immediately apparent (unless Detect Magic or a similar spell is active).
Will Save:1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30
Ginni is worried and is wondering if she should try and distance herself from the others for a while to keep them from being affected by the rumors.
Her thoughts seem strangely seductive and it is very tempting to look beyond just the surface thoughts.
Take a -5 on saves vs Ginni's abilities for the rest of the day and make a DC 25 Will save to avoid the temptation to try to explore her mind more.
Jaiye
Vare follows along with her somewhat strange speech patterns - growing more and more accostomed to her intermittently vague and then direct speech patterns. He does smile however, his hand still resting on that shaven - though now slightly grainy - skin there. "Conditions indeed... though perhaps not all bad. It has brought us together, after all. Rena also spoke to me this morning of wanting to enroll in the school as a student." he seemed to momentarily wander off into a tangent, distracted by the mention of conditions.
"You... Oh. I think I understand." he glances at Jaiye. Anahita learned from her... about... being intimate. That only made sense then, why Jaiye felt it appropriate to...
"Er...well, there are books on the subject in the library, but really you need to talk to a guy....in other circumstances I'd volunteer Ehos for the job, but...I don't know that I can just assume that he would be willing."
Melody Waverider
Melody really offered no resistance, her mind is flooded with musc, song, dancing and friendly faces.
Dom, Kai, Tam, and Vai are prominate but others are there as well including Ginni and Repp. All these images portray frindship and comaradre.
There is more deeper but she protects that very well
Repp, the Bleached
Will Save vs. Ginni: 1d20 + 39 - 5 ⇒ (2) + 39 - 5 = 36
Repp feels the tug of Ginni's mind... and would've fallen for the trap himself had his own mind not been so structured. Still... he curious what her mind is like. Darn gnomish curiosity. He doesn't push his luck though. Another time, maybe.
Ehos Denulia
::No, but I can.:: With a slight smile for his friend, Phaeqeriel bends what is real and Ehos is clean, his clothes seemingly fresh from his clothes press, with any damage to them undone. Phaezeriel's voice is a little teasing but in a good natured tone, ::You really must let me teach you how to do this psionics one of these days.::
Did Ace ask the question about better identification of the killer?
::Thanks.:: he says, still sounding a bit strained, looking around at all the people waiting on him. He hated that too - telling people what to do. Ugh. ::If I had a lick of talent with psionics my Mother would've drilled it into me a long time ago Phaeze. Professor Sunwake says I should be optimistic about my voice too. So hopefully...: he drifts off as Ace begins to swoon, looking concerned. It seemed that Phaezeriel's bit of teasing hadn't managed to cheer him.
While they are all standing there, discussing what exactly to do next, Ace suddenly swoons a bit on his feet as he gets a sudden telepathic flash of insight into what's been bothering Ehos.
"Something really bad happened between you and Jaiye, didn't it Ehos? And you feel terrible about it."
When Ace says that, the tension in Ehos brain finally snaps - and with it his temper, flaring out at those present. Misdirected fury, no doubt, but the emotional youth is looking for an outlet. 'Yeah! Alright! I f@*%ed another girl! I f%#+ed another girl and she was beautiful and it was amazing and horrible! I f@!!ed it up! Just like I always do! Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go try to fix this!' the words on the datapad come out red and italicized, a symptom of his anger. He still... does not make a single sound, despite his emotional outburst. It was so hard to do it properly without being able to talk. Nowhere near the same effect as if Ehos had shouted that at Ace.
Anger seething through the telepathic bond - though not /truly/ directed at Ace or anyone else present, but rather at himself, Ehos turns to Phaeze and projects: ::Can we go please?::
Professor Mara
::facinating, :: he looks closer ::hmm it appears you have lobotomized some of the magical centers of the brain, to what purpose does this serve?::
::Well, you see, it was simply the best alternative. I could not have let him go, since he would've simply rebuilt his power, at great expense to the townspeople, and fought me again. At the same time, I wanted to honor his request that he did not want to be permanently destroyed. You see, it is very taboo for Rakshasas, travelers of the cosmic wheel, to end that life-death cycle.::
::In this way, he can choose to leave this phase of his life at any time, but with that, he would lose much of his power. In this state, he chooses to remain fully conscious, without any ability to exact revenge.::
Phaezeriel
Phaezeriel nods to Ehos and looks at Krays and Ace,::I will most likely be back very soon, please try to find out everything you can about the circumstances around the death of this man.:: Phaezeriel places one hand on Ehos' arm, and they are suddenly standing in the observatory.
Phaezeriel bows to Jaiye and Professor Vare and Anahita.
Vare, the Summoner
"Er...well, there are books on the subject in the library, but really you need to talk to a guy....in other circumstances I'd volunteer Ehos for the job, but...I don't know that I can just assume that he would be willing."
Vare pauses at that, considering thoughtfully as he does with anything. "The books... may prove useless for me. I have a condition... Anahita knows something of it. The books may be unreadable, or even horribly misleading." he shakes his head again, obivously not liking that idea at all. "I may just have to... er. Let my instinct guide me, as Anahita had suggested in the past." With the sudden arrival of a pair of beings... beings? Neither of them were speaking... must simply be dream fragments. "But that is neither here nor now, I don't intend to repeat the mistake of last night by rushing. And... Anahita:" He pauses a moment, still not seeming to notice the pair of new arrivals in Ehos and Phazeriel.
"You need never censor yourself for me. I would hear the words right from your heart, every time, as you said on our first walk through the gardens, when you told the story of your boldness in the woodlands."
Ehos Denulia
Ehos immediately loses the passion he had just had... apparently him and Phaezeriel had interrupted a conversation... wait. Anahita and Jaiye again.
Ehos is still unable to make eye-contact with Jaiye, looking away in shame and guilt. His heart was both so low in his stomach that it hurt, while also seem to be choking him, so high in his throat it was. He wouldn't even had been able to speak if he had been able to speak. ::No Phaeze... I made this mess. I'll deal with the consequences myself.::
The lump in his throat doesn't recede at all, his hands clutching the datapad tightly. Anahita knew about this now too... she probably hated him too.

::If you change your mind, or she asks to know, call on me. I return to Kuros.::
Phaezeriel bows again and vanishes, reappearing in the burned out tailor's shop in Kuros.
Balamor Sinspinner
"Sure, I'm itching to fight."
he starts walking back to the school.
"So... What's it like being a drow?"
"Where to begin? There was the rising at about your dawn just to see the ritual of heating the black spire that was pretty much our sun."
Jaiye
Jaiye felt like her heart was being squeezed again, like she couldn't really breathe. This still hurt so much. He wouldn't even look at her.
"Ehos." She took a deep breath. "Part of me wants to run away again because this hurts so damn bad, but Ana was right when she told me that beating myself up about what might have happened doesn't do anyone any good. I need to hear the truth from you."
"Was....was this planned? Did you go into town to meet with her because you thought I was gone for the weekend?"
Balamor Sinspinner
"Interesting, please, continue. I love to learn."
"Well, since I was gifted in fighting I was sent to the Melee-Metharge, which is the fighter's school. I had to always keep one eye open since I was a highborn Drow and was high on almost everyone's list to kill first."
Ginni
"Here gunni. Would you like a flower?"
if you are perceptive, the act means nothing to him
Ginni smiled. "Thank you, Roel. That's very sweet." She can see that he seems disconnected from the act of giving a present, but tries to encourage the gesture with a positive reaction anyways.
Morrivan
At this point Morrivan bursts into the room.
"Ginni? Are you okay?"
"Oh. Yeah, I guess so. Umm....Raelle just landed herself in detention cause she slapped some girl who was saying nasty stuff about you. So she may be late for girls night depending on how long they keep her in there. You know how it can get."
Vare, the Summoner

With the conversation rapidly turning personal, Vare will excuse himself quietly from the room, not wanting to be an intruder in this obviously tender moment.
Balamor Sinspinner
"Most of my training was "dodge the fireball until you fail." Mom made it clear that death wasn't an escape from training either."
"Well, the mage's school was like that, every drow is trained in combat, magic, and worship of the Spider Queen."

Above anything else, the fact that she even considered that it was premeditated cut straight to Ehos' heart, and he finally looks up at her and meets her eyes... tears forming there.
He shakes his head, dispassionately. 'No Jaiye. I... I never planned it. I went to town for something else... she found me there. I'm sorry! I told you I'm bad at resisting!' tears were flowing freely now, unrestrained. He doesn't break eye contact anymore, but he can barely see her through the tears. He hopes she can read what he was saying.
