Those are the best options.::

Nailed it! :D

Repp had been about to answer Ginni when another pair made an appearance at the door, seemingly concerned for the young half-demon. Repp was a little dissapointed that Ginni did not yet trust him, but that was the nature of things - after all, would he give his trust so easily to others? In the end, no. And so he had to respect Ginni's choice. "Good morning, fellow students." the albino gnome who had been speaking with Ginni says brightly to Dom and Tamina as they enter. "I trust you are doing well, other than the unfortunate rumours which plague our friend Ginni."

Dom glances to the smaller man. "Oh. Good morning. Sorry for interupting. Tami is just really worried for Ginni and I don't blame her." Dom thinks about Repp's question. "I would say we have been having an ok day. Today there has been too much pain to othes that we have seen." He tells him with a slight tone of regret.

"So I'm Dom Waverider and this gorgeuos flower is Tamina." He motions and smiles to Tami as he does introductions. "May I was your name?

"And quite the beautiful flower she is." Repp says, bowing to the pair with a practiced ease."Repparyn is my name, but please, do not mind me. You are here to see Ginni. I would not wish to interfere with that. She is in need of friends at the moment."

Vare looks increasingly worried, glancing back at the corner of the room had been speaking to earlier.. Was Anahita lashing out at staff members in anger? It didn't sound like her.. but... when she was moved to passion...

Then, to the corner, he says aloud: "I'm going to go find her. She didn't sound angry when I contacted her earlier.. but... still."

He returns his gaze to his colleagues, looking through them rather than at them. "And you said she disrespected you? I'm going to look for her. She... did not have a pleasant evening last night. Perhaps I can council her. If she will listen to me. Excuse me." with that, Vare departs in a hurry, taking his patchwork spellbook with him. He had already tried the arrows this morning, when Rena was Out... but now he was without her, the arrows wouldn't be of much use to him.

Vare instead casts a spell he had prepared in case the Sending had failed.

Vare will cast a Locate Creature spell, and attempt to follow it to Anahita. It may take some time though, so I'll leave to Anahita where/when she wants to be found. Also... if at any point Anahita polymorphs (as it requires a mental image of her) or has protections such as Nondetection or Mislead, it will fail.

I love me the hyjinks! Weee... that spell didn't mention a proper range, though I suspect it's like Locate Object, no? Range long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level) so, safe to say some 1/4th of a mile range? Probably enough for the school's dimensions.

After Vare's casting, he is quickly (surprised?) able to locate the specific 'create' that is Anahita-- that way. She is not moving anywhere, stationary at this point in time.

Yup, it is treated exactly as per that spell. Narrate me approaching whenever you feel it is appropriate. :)

Vare attempts to navigate the corridors of the school while keeping a general direction towards Anahita... the hallways are not always how he expects though, still somewhat unfamiliar with the school as he is. Still, he will eventually make his way to her, presumably.

To that end we offer classes in many fields including alchemy, music, art, and of course various forms of combat training. Midori did quite well in archery class yesterday. And of course the training rooms are available for practice when classtime is over and on weekends. She has plenty of opportunity to keep her skills polished. If you wish her to have a more defined training regimen then we can do that, but I have not noticed her slacking off as yet, so that may be unnecessary."

Koizumi and Yuki both nod at this, once again the pride at their daughter's work ethic and sense of responsibility is evident, looking at their now re-composed daughter with smiles on their faces. Surpringly, Midori does in fact pipe up at this point, turning her body towards her parents and bowing her head slightly, observing proper respect even with her own family: "I will not fall behind on my practices. There are many here who are much better than me, and I did not wish to be left behind them. I must push myself harder and harder to match my friends, and for my own benefit as well." there is a definite note of fierceness in her voice at that - an unwillingness to submit to mediocrity, or to be second-best.

"I always sensed that you would be someone who would appreciate this." Professor Mara swiftly uncovered the parcel that he had rested on the table, revealing a brain suspended in a magical glass container. "This is the brain of the human form of my former rival, archmage Bakasura. At least, that's what he called himself in his community. This is a really beautiful specimen and my greatest accomplishment, back from the days of my youth"

"You see, Baka was always a skilled shapeshifter and illusionist. He would replace a respected member of the community by essentially subsuming the body and keeping the mind dominated in the brain. That way, magic would be fooled and the knowledge of the old mind remained. Through my magical trickery, I fooled him into thinking that I would provide the townspeople with spells that could detect the presence of two closely-intertwined minds inside a single body. He responded by binding himself more firmly to the soul of the scholar inhabiting the body, whose name I can't quite remember, to fool the divination magic...Anyways, the paranoia, that I inspired, drove him to bind himself too tightly and as a result, he now required a physical body to sustain him and perform his magic."

Professor Mara takes out a model of a brain from his briefcase. "You see, the brain is divided up into zones that most humanoid races use to harness magic. Here in the fore-brain are the cognition skills required to harness arcane power. Back here, around a centimeter deep, is the limbic cortex, which is responsible for delusions and ironically, most divine magic." He picks up the glass brain-jar and turns it around to give her a better look. The brain appears to have a few sections precisely removed in clean blocks, in the areas that he had mentioned earlier were used for arcane magic. "After I defeated him in battle, I carefully excised the parts of the brain most responsible for battle magics. Unfortunately it's diminished his usefulness, but at least he can still use divination and limited telepathy. Plus, I can carry him around safely and he can enjoy the rest of life in quiet contemplation. Cool, right?"

Upon his first spotting of her, standing there with a being that appeared to be - to him - a hyena standing on it's back legs and walking like a human. Of course, he doesn't bat an eye at this, for this was perhaps one of the more mundane projections he had seen in his life. His expression which can been seen at a distance as he approaches is one of concern, and then it changes to one of slight confusion as Anahita addresses him happily. He blinks several times, stopping short - obviously this was not the reaction he was expecting.

His robes and hair do not appear to have changed much from the preivous night - the hair still looking unkept, but the robes do appear slightly rumpled, as if he had slept in them. A faint impression of hair growing on back on his cheeks can be seen - obviously he has not yet tended to his hygiene yet this morning. There is a faint scent of sweat about him, though not overpowering, even to Jaiye's sensitive nose. After all, it was only the one evening.

"Er-" he stumbles momentarily, a symptom of the unexpected perky greeting from Anahita. "I had meant it as a way of respect, Anahita." he says of her comments regarding the 'Miss'. "I am well enough, I suppose, all things considered. I am glad to see you again as well... I feared that you would not enjoy my presence again after the disaster of last night." He says that last part without inflection, a sign of his worry no doubt. Emotions on his sleeve right now, apparently. Of course, he has momentarily forgotten the task which had brought him here... perhaps because of relief at hearing her happiness. Either way, he continues on. "I admit... I lost my temper with the Headmaster after you departed, and perhaps that should have been my initial reaction to his intrusion. I hope you can forgive me for the mistakes I made in that regard last night."

Upon returning, she smiles and asks, "Well? I am ready to cast this. He will hear it, though I do not expect him to reply, due to his silence issues."

There's a warm smile on Anahita's face when she finishes, glancing off briefly to where the arrows had pointed before at Vare, then back to Jaiye.

She is under the effects of a powerful curse, which amplifies her already-powerful sky-based magic at the expense of Agartha's planetary wards, from which they drain the energy to fuel her manipulation of the sky.

She is rather taken with a young human man by the name of Ghalen Firesoul, a fact which she finds difficult to accept at times, as it reveals that she is in fact vulnerable to such things. And if there is one thing Tyrrin dislikes, it is feeling vulnerable.

The seed of doubt had been sewn though - he didn't truly believe that she thought of him only as a tool... did he?

She shakes her head, trying to clear away those distracting thoughts, and hands Ghalen's book to Tybalt for storage.

"And quite the beautiful flower she is." Repp says, bowing to the pair with a practiced ease."Repparyn is my name, but please, do not mind me. You are here to see Ginni. I would not wish to interfere with that. She is in need of friends at the moment."

Tami knelt down beside Ginni and hugged her, which started another wave of tears from the young half-succubus.

"Shh. It's okay, Ginni. I don't care what any of those people say about you. You're my best friend and I'm not going to turn my back on you."

"I'm sorry," she said softly.

"I know it probably doesn't help right now, but the demon children you'll meet here are trying to change, to turn away from that nature. Accepting them isn't at all the same thing as accepting their 'kind'."

Turning back to her. "I can't believe that. So many have fallen pray to ruses of there kind. So trusting a demon will take some time for me, if it's even possible." He tells her with sorrowful eyes.

"Is that everyone? Shall we press in then? Should I scout more?
I just noticed that Pyry isn't here. Is he OK?"
He stows the books as they come and looks for a way out that isn't the way he came. Invisible of course.

Ephebe smiled. She appreciated Midori's ambition. It was something she could relate to. Just then there was a knock on the door.

"Please excuse the interruption. I believe this is important," she said, apologetically. "Come in," she called out, and the door swung open to reveal Sun and Sara.

"You're far from the only person here with trust issues...after you hear a few of the horror stories about things done by humans and other sentients...let's just say that I find it hard to hate one group in particular more than the others."

"Hi Mrs.Ephebe. Hi Midori. Hi other people. Are we interrupting?"
The small girl hops into the doorway.
Her black curly hair bounces off of her shoulders for a moment and falls back. She wears the basic Avalon uniform with a small otter poking out of the shirt pocket. A messenger bag is slung across her shoulder and a black and white teddy bear with a missing eye pokes out of the top. Ephebe will recognize it as the one she gave her. Sans un ohjo.

"Just one thing. Doubt grows on ignorance. If there's something you read in someone else's book that makes you doubt them, talk to them about it. Maybe not right now, but don't just stew on it. If there's something you read in your own book that makes you doubt yourself, talk to someone you trust about it. Other than that, yeah, let's keep searching and see what we can come up with. If we're finding the traps at least we're moving in the right direction."

"Hello, Sara. I am in the middle of a conference at the moment. Is this extremely urgent?"
