"Thank you." He accepts the spells without arguement. He recognizes that she naturally takes the dominant social position and he switches to the subservient position to put her at ease in the social dynamic she is comfortable with.
"Good gods. I could blind someone with detect magic. OK. Should I just go or is there somewhere I should start?"
He returns to invisibility and stays pressed up against Dave.

It sounds to me like your balance has been a bit skewed towards the observing in the past and you're long overdue to spend some time experiencing things for yourself," she said with an impish grin."And you still haven't answered my question about what you're looking for in an apprentice."
"Oh no I do try experencing as much as I can but there is still much I have yet to experience. Things like intiment relationships are very new to me. Till I met you I never even understood why people would invest there feelings like they do. But I get the impression you are speaking of experiances in a relationship. "Are you sure that you weren't a mermaid yesterday? Because you are very much one now. No trace of anything else. This is a more intense transformation than say a polymorph spell could manage."

Midori's family of four enters, Midori first with the others flanking her. All four of the shinobi bow to her simultaneously. It's deja-vu of when Midori first arrived at the school, as now all four of them appear to be scanning the Headmistress's office for ambush locations and hiding places. Midori introduces her parents and brother to Ephebe: Koizumi, her father, Yuki, her mother and Kosuke her brother.
Midori's father looks a little skeptical, looking Ephebe up and down, obviously taking stock of her. "I do not mean to offend, Blackscales-sama... but are you not very young for this? You only appear to be a few years older than my daughter."
Ephebe laughed. "I do look young for my age," she admitted. "I have occasionally been mistaken for a student....of middle school age. While I am young for my species, I am not that young. I am 27. Here, let me show you," she said turning around a picking up a hologram of the family from a couple years previous. "This is my mother," she said, pointing out a woman who looked to be in her late teens. "This picture is a couple of years old so she was only 51 when this was taken. And this is my grandmother," she said, pointing out a petite woman of indeterminate age who appeared to be somewhere in her thirties or forties at most. "She's over six hundred years old. We just don't age very quickly in my family."

Anahita smiles at the offer and then shakes her head, "You were territorial, as far as I could tell. My attempts at being polite failed, so I only sought to move away when I could. I am ..naive, about much, when it comes to civilized living. Another reason I might be here."
She says these things, but it's clear she's not sure /why/ she's here, yet, or doesn't consider it often-- or something.
"If you do grow hungry, and we are still out here, we could always go hunting." That much, seems something Anahita's willing and able to do. "That is, if you are the sort that enjoys the ritual."
Jaiye shrugged. "Maybe later. There are rabbits in these woods. Rabbits are tasty."
She looked at Ana a little oddly. "You get this almost feral look on your face when you talk about hunting. You probably want to watch that. The idea had hit him between his second and third cat naps of the day.
The wards around the school were designed to protect students and teachers!
Students and Teachers!
Teachers!
He could become a teacher!
It was quickly apparent to him that his Rakshasan name, convoluted and decorated with his various vile accomplishments, would not suffice in the world of Avalon Academy, as accepting as it might be. For this discreet mission, he would require a new name.
He chose his new name, Maru, from a tale of significance in a religion so obscure that only the most ancient and wise of scholars would understand the reference.
This religion was Hinduism and Maru was a leader of a depraved army of sinners
Despite his secretive nature, he couldn't possibly resist to be the most pompous of cats on the block. He chose to wear an ancient embroidered robe, brown with gilded lace. On top, he draped a scarf of the finest silks, harvested from the dire silkworm living in the undead forests of the Drow caverns. But nothing could compare to his all-seeing third eye.
For today, he would be starting his new job as Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience. A worthy post and one most suited to his abilities, as he had broken the minds of many worthy adversaries, both mentally and physically, for the sole purpose of study.
The Professor entered the school, looking down derisively at the throngs of school children and even some of the teachers.
Runts, vagabonds, children of vagabonds!
In his hands, he held a wrapped parcel that concealed a living brain preserved in a jar. As he walked down the hall way, his third eye glared at onlookers until they grew uncomfortable of the death stare and looked away.
I may just like it here.

"You, do not disrespect your superiors." All three of Maru's eyes glare at the student.
Stuff it cat" Treisdan glares and wraps his green claw around the sick... And his palm starts to heat up, flickers of red and orange can be seen between his fingertips

Maru inclines his head slightly to acknowledge the Professor's sentiment. "This man may be more forgiving; for that, you should be grateful...What did you say?!"

            Sighs
"Some of the students here are the most foolish 'gifted' children I have ever had the displeasure of meeting." he grumbles.
"Mr. Achdarach, follow me, please." he places his hands on the wall, silently seeking the summoning teacher.

Professor Maru, a highly acclaimed enchanter and mentalist by profession, uses this opportunity to communicate telepathically with Treisdan without alerting the other Professor, while sealing off the rest of his mind.
Telepathy: I saw what you did in the chapel; I could not agree more. I am trying to get you out of trouble in the most plausible way that I can. If the summoning teacher hears of your actions, you may be severely punished. Also, I need to talk to you privately. Play along with what I'm about to do.
"That is quite enough, boy. Mental assault of a teacher is a first rate offense. Come with me!" He turns to the other Professor. "There is no need to trouble the summoning instructor. I have many things that he could do for detention in my office."

The mental probe is effortlessly rebuffed.
Raises an eyebrow. Studies the new professor for a moment.
"Very well. He can be your problem."
He reaches into the folds of his robe, and produces a ball of yarn, and tosses it on the floor. He then continues into the chapel.
