Jen sneaks along the river bank, careful of the departed spirits in the river. She watches out for any demons lurking nearby that might be fishing for the spirits or strolling around, stalking them like a crouched tiger.

But I can't stand it that people are using that to hurt my friends."

wait, what rumors? I never heard any such rumors. and your half demon?

Mel thinks for minute, notices Ginni's guitar sitting there. Ginni, and everyone come on have a seat

Ginni there is no need to be sad. no one is hurting any of us and I doubt Ace would dare let anyone hurt you or your friends.

as she talks Mel instinctively is tuning her guitar.

"The rumors just started this morning. That's why people were staring at me at breakfast. And yeah, my mom was a succubus. I never met her. She abandoned me as a baby. I guess that's pretty normal for a succubus. I don't even know who my father was....but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want me. If he was even still alive. Nobody wants to admit to having gotten it on with a succubus," she said glumly.

Ephebe laughed. "I do look young for my age," she admitted. "I have occasionally been mistaken for a student....of middle school age. While I am young for my species, I am not that young. I am 27. "This is my mother," she said, pointing out a woman who looked to be in her late teens. "This picture is a couple of years old so she was only 51 when this was taken. And this is my grandmother," she said, pointing out a petite woman of indeterminate age who appeared to be somewhere in her thirties or forties at most. "She's over six hundred years old. We just don't age very quickly in my family."

The Tsuyomi family looks considerably impressed - even Midori, who before this knew nothing of her Headmistress' age or her family. "I see Blackscales-sama. We wanted to thank you personally for accepting our daughter to learn in your school. Her abilities are unique - even for us shinobi who have a variety of powers and techniques, we have never seen anything like her power before. We were not properly equipped to help her, and we are very glad for your assistance in this matter." Koizumi bows again, deeply and respectfully. "Do you have any questions for us at this time? If not, would you please tell us how Midori is adapting to the school?"

During all this, Midori seems rather stoic. Quiet and respectful perhaps... perhaps even a little overly so, even for her. Given that Ephebe knows that Midori is somewhat afraid of her abilities, her parents speaking so openly about their own troubles with them is likely difficult for her... but she bears it well.

You touch the wall and either think or announce a person or destination, and glowing arrows appear on the wall to lead you to the person/destination. The rooms, both personal rooms and class rooms, will alter their appearance, layout and furniture based on what you have in mind for it's appearance/functionality. Think of a holodeck, only it's all real stuff, and doesn't do other beings, to my knowledge..

That's what we're here for. For now we've been working on settling in for the most part, although Midori has already taken some steps on the road to gaining full control of her abilities. Once the door is closed, Ginni closes her eyes, trying to pretend like there was nobody else in the room but her and Melody. Like she had done with Dom before.

[i]After a few deep breaths, she started to play

Perform check: 1d20+27

+5 from melody inspire competence and another +2 for Ensemble feat to aid another

Melody quickly adjusts her playing to accompany Ginni and compliment her playing yet still let her have center stage.

perform check: 1d20 + 31 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 31 + 2 + 2 = 40

after the performance Ginni that was truly amazing, I can honestly say your teacher before did not have a clue about real talent
