"That's why I said sort of."Midori giggles at the thought of Zilla-chan doing battle of any kind. Hew-kun at least carried his staff like he knew how to use it. "Ohhh... Zilla-chan you would rip your dress." Midori said with a impish smile, obiviously feeling very cheerful right at that moment. A full belly and a pair of friends to talk to. What else could she ask for? "We still have to find Lang-kun and Grim-kun and find something fun to do today! We made that promise!"
Grim looks to Lang suprised "I hadent thought of wards, that's a good idea, can you avatar guys do like regular magic too?"
"I should go speak with my children, as that was the reason I made the trip to the school. I did not wish to slight you by not seeing you while I was here." She explains, still smiling that smile which Tyrrin always has when she thinks she had been witty. They are truly very similar. Tyrrin must be the spitting image of the High Seer when she was younger.
"You mean you didn't visit for my good looks?" Mock hurt fills Ryo's voice before he smiles. "Go and speak with your children, Denulia. Surely they have things they'd like to tell you."

Some could if that was their training. I was trined strictly to my bending and martial arts as well as meditations. I much more spiritual that some previous avatars at least from what I have read. Sun really knows more about all that than I do.
looking over at Dave, adon seems alive again. A little bit of a snarl curls across his face for a moment, then returning to a blank expression. He seems to take care not to acknowledge Dave's existence here.
Dave walks up to Sadie after waving to adon "sorry I'm late can I still join?"
adon freezes entirely. He doesn't even look like he's breathing, his eyes open wide.
Dave raises one eye at adon and is rather put off by the fealing he's getting from him.
settro's eyes open wide, his tail straightens out, and he stiffens up.
"Wow.... someone has problems..."
adon forces himself together. His hate seethes even more as he speaks to Moravian and renkai.
"Sorry about that... I got a little..."
he seems lost for a word, searching for something not directly offensive to Dave. After a moment of pause, he says:

Ace smiles at Ginni "See, there ya go being all smart again. It very well could be some sort of new ability manifesting. In a way, it makes sense. My whole life has been about adapting and changing to survive. Avalon is a new place, filled with many new people. So, perhaps my body is coming up with something to help me handle all these changes."
He pulls out flask of water from his belt and quickly drains it. "Alright, let's go see Kitty and figure out what to do with our new fluffy friend. Then we have a date to get to"
"I see. I don't think they teach the use of these here publicly, they are considered torture instruments by some..."
he thinks for a moment.
"Renkai, you have a slew of weapons on you all the time. Do you happen to have a spiked chain on you?"
"That we do. I bet they would like some snacks. What do you think? Should we get some cookies from line for everyone?" Hew asked Midori thinking she would agree it was a good idea.
"Hai!" Midori says excitedly, "That's a great idea Hew-kun! Let's do that." Midori gets up and begins to bus their trays, walking with a certain bouncing in her step.
She smiles nervously. "I can be myself and still be respectful," she said firmly. "I wouldn't show disrespect to a pack leader and I shouldn't show disrespect to your mother either."
She hurried to get the dress and change into it. She used her claw to make a tail slit. "I'll have to ask Tybs to fix that properly later."
"Okay....all set. Let's get this over with?"
Ehos puts his arm around her and tries to smile. 'Hey, you're awesome. Right? Won me over.'
'If it gets too hard, just think of later tonight, okay? We still have all this picnic when we're done. And chocolate sauce.' he nuzzles her ears, and kisses the top of her head.
He takes her hand and they go out of the room.

"Now, i never learned to use one of these myself, but this should be very fluid. Now, these are illegal in most sparring matches, vicious things that they are, but if you want, we could try this. There is no chance you'll hit me anyway.""
After cleaning up with Midori. They get back in line and get a full tray of cookies to share with the others. The line only had two others in the line besides them. Seems the cafeteria was slow on the weekends. As there had only been two other students in kine ahead of them.
Once through the line hew smiled to Midori while balancing the tray on one hand and carrying his staff in the other. "Shall we catch up to the others now?"

First of all the Temple would belong to everyone, not just the Avatar, second, why would you not be allowed on the Sun? it is your home.

what I meant, Grim, was when it was built it was supposed to be available to all the firefirds to pay their respects but for some reason it was sealed or secluded away for whatever reason. and Voltair's name removed from the official histories. I just hope that the reasons can be found in that temple.

"Alright," she agrees, though she is certainly keeping a close eye on him. Even if it was just a new ability those could be difficult enough. She worried what the side effects of a new ability while the evil guy was still stuck in his head would be.
The arrows led them to the shed where Kitty had her animal hospital.
"Hello, Kitty....got room for one more patient?"

Vai starts to calm down as Melody seems to be in more control. She shakes her head at Melody's apology. "Melody... it's okay. Fei is back now, and he seems whole. That's all that matters... I'm just worried about you." Vai says, edging a little closer. "I'm just worried about you now. I... I don't have the most pleasant memories."

Ardiente looks a bit worried. "That sounds like he was stripped from the records - abjured."
"There is a long list of reasons why he might have been abjured..." Ardiente says thoughtfully. "But if he's been stripped from the records... that would explain a great deal... perhaps even why the temple was sealed."
Morrivan tested the chain for balance, standing well away from anyone else. Dull or not, getting hit with a length of chain would hurt....still.....it did have more fluidity....she practiced twirling it, using what had been an abysmal sword fighting stance, but seemed to work wonders with the chain which moved very similarly to a water whip.
"You know....it's not really fencing, but I think this does work better."
"I specified bags of holding. I was making sure i was clear."

"well, i know it isn't. Like i said, or would be banned in most sparring matches... You wouldn't be able to participate in a lot of things, and many people won't be willing to spar with you. However, if it's your style of fighting, you should cultivate it."
