Hi guys" Sorun calls to Dave and Lang
hey Sorun. Grim and I just finished a flying race over who has to clean the bathroom, but it ended up a tie. so i guess same schedule as before.
Sorun are you staying for the water bending class or are you going to Archery
Water bending I think..." Sorun replies happily, "but I will probably read this book more though."
When Dave and Tybs first arrived on the roof, she looked over and grimaced.
"Apparently this roof is becoming too popular. Maybe time to go for a fly?"
Salis's face reddened with embarrassment. Sure he had been flirted with before but not that often nor by a women that had gained his respect. "No no don't worry about that. I find it rather refreshing." He looks to the bottle of wine. Most the bottle is still left Perhaps we should put away the wine and save it for next time."[/b] Slowly he put the cork back in the bottle then slipped it back in the bag.
Not knowing what he he should say. "I should start getting ready for my next class. I'm sorry I couldn't stay longer. Perhaps next time."
"Then I'll look forward to next time," she says with a shy smile.
"Good luck corralling the wild students," she added, her smile turning mischievous.
When Dave and Tybs first arrived on the roof, she looked over and grimaced.
"Apparently this roof is becoming too popular. Maybe time to go for a fly?"
Ardiente follows her gaze and grimaces as well, nodding at her suggestion. "Yeah, I think you're right. Let's make ourselves scarce."
Ardiente vaults himself to his feet quietly, and offers his hand to help her stand - though he does not exactly pull her up if she takes it... instead just allowing her an easy, steady point to focus her energy on, allowing her to use her own strength.
He assumes his bird shape and spreads his wings... it seems his hair colour isn't the only thing that changes when the resurrection when off. Ardiente's feathers are now shot through with light purple colouration, dotting his entire body seemingly at random. The purple feathers almost look crystalline... almost gem-like.
Ardiente doesn't seem to immediately notice, as he appears to be checking the air currents and such on the roof in preparation for takeoff.
::Looks like the new color extends to your feathers as well,:: she said, having already changed to her bird form, the sunlight changing her seemingly black feathers to a deep red where it shone through them on her outstretched wings. ::I think it suits you.::
And with that she took off, happy to just feel the freedom of flight for now.
Dave full on laughs at this "if you want that will be my next project, course you could just cast neutralize poison, or heck it's a weak poison, resistance would probably work, but that's too easy, yeah the summoning is done you can leave the circle now"
Tybalt gives some hand signs that look like referee signals and an awning of ice appears over a section of the roof. A waving gesture of his hand and a sheen of ice appears over the rooftop. He hops off of Dave and lays down with his hands behind his head. "Its not really poison. Its like an allergy. It just makes them sick. . . . . You know you probably could've asked the fire thing nicely. You didn't have to boss it around. It looked like they would've just agreed to it."
Ace flashes a grin at Ginni and the others "Also, I think my being distracted by six beautiful young ladies totally made my brain stop functioning."
He then gets a bit more serious "Ok, so in order of things to do. One, apologize and explain things to Tybalt. Two, speak with Miss Jones and Phaezeriel. Three, go see Professor Reading and talk to her about what I found."

She makes an effort to stay over school grounds as they fly, not really wanting to test boundaries so much as stay away from things she wasn't yet ready to deal with.
She practically glows with happiness."Do I need to get a pitcher of ice water to dump on you two?" she joked.

It was still something of a challenge, trying to communicate normally despite his handicap. It doesn't seem to deter him, though. 'Though if you are going to do it... do it while I'm awake please. That has to be the worst way to wake up ever... well, except for the angry father that followed shortly thereafter. Humans can be so touchy at times.' There's a broad grin on his face, the datapad mostly held for Sadie and Jaiye to see, since it was difficult to say something lengthy to the whole group without pausing all the time.
"Fourth, bring me breakfast in bed tomorrow to make up for this morning." Tyrrin says smirkingly, obviously joking. "Alright, I'm afraid I must get on. I still have at least one more person to speak with... oh. That reminds me. Casil: Ehos and I are returning to our homeland for a evening next weekend to celebrate the Fall Equinox. It's an annual tradition. I would like it very much if you would join me... and if Ginni would like to come as well, I can arrange for that." Tyrrin attempts to preempt any jealousy on Ginni's part by inviting her as well.

Treisdan's lunch is uneventful, he eats his ribs (pork) in peace by himself, his white hair flowing around his shoulders

With a slight light. "I believe I would prefer to fight a group of gargoyles with may hands tied up. It would be far easier." He stated in a matter of fact tone. He smiled coyly to her before he turned to leave.

Johnny heads off to the library with a block of books in the air behind s/he. Displacing in s/he hads the bokks back to the staff and then heads over to the index Comdex scanning whole sections for the books s/he needs. Then heading out to pull a large number of refinance books, data pads, scrolls, disks, tapes, clay tablets, memirer cyristals in to one of the privets reading rooms, consuming knowledge at an considrable rate, s/he starts intensive study for the rest of the day and could be most of the night.

This was too much for Sadie who laughed so hard she actually fell out of her seat.
"I don't understand," Zren said, confused.
Rikken shrugged. "I don't understand either....why is funny?"
This just made Sadie laugh harder.

She snuggled into his embrace, happy that he followed her. "That was nice of her. I hate having to explain that stuff. I'm not supposed to have to deal with that while I'm here....but I suppose they orchestrated the whole thing hoping that something would happen. Parents can be so stupid sometimes."
Ori wasn't even pretending to meditate now, just laying back and relaxing as she considered what had been a very enjoyable meal...she had enjoyed their earlier conversation too....Salis was interesting. She hadn't like him at all at first. But now....she was a little afraid she might like him more than she should. She had a terrible track record...but....well, he really was completely different than her previous lovers...was it okay to take a chance? Or would that just make her work environment difficult. Aargh. This shouldn't be so complicated.
Not to mention that it was probably a totally moot point. Especially with her and the nature spirit's anger management issues.

'I tried telling him it was just peaceful cultural exchange between our races!' When he displays that to Jaiye, he finally can't help himself an erupts into a round of laughter of his own, hauntingly silent though it is.

"That they can be. I still really don't know why I was banned from even learning waterbending or why we never have returned to the frozen north." Dom kissed the top of her head while he held her. "I still don't have a clue what this is really like for you. I just know when our time is up I don't know if I'll be able to let you go and I really won't want to."
Midori watched Ignace step away from Zilla with a touch of sadness in her eyes. She wondered if her kunai would be sharp enough to cut cloth nicely without tearing."Oh! I almost forgot! Midori, here," she said, handing Midori a pair of exceptionally thick scissors. "It's better if you use the pinking shears to cut the fabric. It helps keep the ends from unraveling."
Zilla tries helping them in any way she can... Most the time she just in the way.
"It was? I thought you were. . . Never mind. Guess I heard you wrong. . . . ." He checks his watch. "Ooh we have just enough time! Come on we need to hurry!" He waves his hand and the icy awning melts and runs down off the shingles of the roof down to the ground. "C'mon!" He grabs Dave by the shoulder and pulls him through a blink into the kitchen. He spots an empty station and starts working. He remains at a station and mage hands everything he needs. Eggs milk flour chocolate chips a few things he refuses to let you see.
Dave follows, confused "um what's this all about"
"You'll see."
Mage hand flicks an oven on to 350°. He backs away from it.
He vigorously mixes things in a bowl and dollups scoops of it onto a baking sheet. Mage hand moves it into an oven.
A timer is switched and another knob says to multiply the yield the oven will produce. (Magical enhancement. I took a liberty here.) "Now we wait."
"Wait for what, what 'cha making?"
"Special recipe. Peanut butter and chocolate chip. Mom used to make them back home. They always made me feel better when we made them." He smiles remembering the times he and his mother had had making them before life went hard and cold.
He raises one eye "where are you going with this"
"I wanted a cookie. You will like this cookie. Where else do I need to go?"
He keeps the one eye raised "fair enough, I shall try the cookie, peanut butter is not my favorite, I prefer something cinimon based"
"Bleh. That weird spicy taste? No thanks. Peanut butter is the best and it goes with chocolate better."
"naw man put some sugar with it, maybe a squeeze of lemon" he does that French kiss your fingers thing "delicious, you make this and later I will make some snicker doodles that are to die for"
