Dave makes his way to Ryleh's classroom for the class skeets set up and knocks four times
"Good afternoon, David. Please, come in and take a seat."
"Ok this is a bit ling winded but please, bear with me, its about as good as I can work it out right now. I was trying to read books on magic, and reviewing your 1st class, but I hit an impasse on day one"
Johnny holds out a open book with 'magic' writing on its pages.
"I know this text is multidimensional in nature and I can see the parts in this dimensional, but the parts that are not. I just can't comprehend. From what I have worked out this whole 'magic' thing depends on someone having the ability, As yet I do not know how, to access those other dimensions , And I can't believe I am saying this, of 'Magic', what I want to know is how?."
The teacher stops examining the desk and turns to the book, casting a read magic spell on it
"that should help... It is a simple spell caller "Read Magic" which allows you to do just that.. If you are incapable of casting such a spell then I would reccomend asking around to see if anyone has any glasses of true seeing... I regretfully have none on hand..."

dave does as instructed, gives a light bow as he enters the room and waits for further instruction.
Midori suddenly looks horrified, realizing how impolite she had been. She jumps out of the chair and bows again. "Gomen-nasai Blackscales-sensei, I have been rude. My name is Midori Tsuyomi." If she heard that part about Akuma, she's pretending not to notice.
She does look momentarily confused when Ephebe mentions that the other students might not have martial training, but refrains from saying anything else, not wanting to be even more impolite than she had already been.
"Welcome to Avalon, Midori. If you would like I can arrange for someone to give you a tour. The curriculum for younger students here is more general so you'll likely be getting to try out a lot of things you haven't before. After all, there may be things you are good at that you've never considered before. Also, you'll be living in a dorm in a block with several other children. Each group is overseen by an adult to make sure that there is always someone on hand should it be necessary. Do you have any questions or concerns?"
Grim Jr walks into the school intending to find the headmaster or headmistress as the case may be, unfortunatly he was never told anything about the layout of the school and he gets turned around several times he kicks a wall in frustration and shouts "how the heck am I suposed to find my way around this crazy place!" he snaps his fingers and says "of course I'll just ask for directions!" he closes his eyes and focuses on the spirits of the dead around him, and asks them "where can I find the master of this house" he is soon rewarded with a quiet whispering that to others would be mistaken for a subtal breese 'follow the signs, look to the walls, think of your destination, and you'll never be lost' Jr pauses "umm.. signs.. wa-oh arrows on the walls. handy" he follows the arrows to Ephebe's room, he gulps and knocks on the door, scythe in his other hand.
The door lights up with the words 'One Moment Please'.
"Welcome to Avalon, Midori. If you would like I can arrange for someone to give you a tour. Midori glances at the stacks of paperwork on the Headmistress' desk. Contracts, maybe? "You seem busy Blackscales-sensei, I would not want to impose." she replies in response to the offer of the tour. "I am looking forward to learning a great many things." The little girl looks around the office seeming to hesitate slightly. Ephebe gets the idea that the girl is unconsciously analyzing the room, looking for places to hide, or sources of danger.

After getting to their neices and nephews a bit more, Taron and Kam go back to their room in Ryo's house quietly, leaving the music box playing for the eggs. They didn't want to take that away from them so soon anyway.
"Vai..." she had to pause so she didn't cry in front of her daughter. "You are an amazing person and I am grateful and proud to have you as my daughter," she said pulling Vai in close for a hug.
"Now, we'd better focus on what we're doing before we both end up bawling," she said attempting to lighten the mood.
"But it's lunch time and I've only cried once so far today. I'm behind on my quota." Vai joked back, barely holding it together. What Aananda had just said to her was exactly what Vai had wanted Tamrin to say last night. If it had been Tamrin, Vai definitely would not have held it together. "Okay, okay. Just no more guilt okay? It won't help us find the one we're looking for." Vai returns to looking at the monitors scroll through their information.
"How's Dad doing?" Vai asks after a little while.

the child reads the note and nods then blushes as he realizes that the people inside probably couldn't see, his nod then pauses and thinks well maybe they could he rocks back and forth on the heals of his feet, scythe in his hand, twirling it intermitingly.

"He's spent his whole life fighting against the Empire, and building up the Resistance. Falling in love with a dragon wasn't exactly part of his plans," she said with a sad smile. "And now....Now everything he's worked for, his friends and colleagues and contacts and the people he was trying to help...it's all being destroyed because of the actions of our son. It's pretty much his worst nightmare come true."
"Just so you know, I've already told Ryo this, if Tam goes off half-cocked on some crazy 'noble' mission without telling me I'm taking a leave of absence to track him down and drag him back until he comes to his senses. I don't think it'll come to that, but well, it pays to be prepared."
Johnny puts a hand on the wall and says
"Goggles of Read Magic"
An arrow pops up and s/he starts to follow it.
"Okay," she muttered, trying to fight off exhaustion. That had been some of the most difficult work she'd ever had to do. No matter how much it resembled mechanics class she was pretty sure what they'd actually been doing was rearranging her brain....no wonder she felt tired. She sighed and stood up. Apparently this was not yet the time for collapsing. It would be nice, she thought to herself, if once in a while the time for collapsing and the need for collapsing actually coincided.
And on that strange thought she woke up. She blinked a few times as she looked around the room, having trouble at first placing where she was. The infirmary. That's right. She sat up carefully.
"So, uh, what now?"
Phaezeriel, still perched on the bed beside Raelle, opened his eyes and smiled, ::I know how tired you must be feeling, I just have to double check that everything went okay. Can you tell me your name and where you are?::
Kezzin continues walking next to Krays, Curious to see where they will end up......
"He said that, did he? Well, I'll deal with that later. I am Professor Yrrum, and you must be new here if you are offering to be my assistant. People think I am a little crazy you see, nevermind the fact that they learn more that way... Ah, I don't believe I caught your name. Seems like I should know that if you're going to assist me."
"Settro. His words were something like- "with who your previous teacher was, i doubt you would get much from even advanced alchemy". It was my idea to assist you, as there are unique styles to every alchemist,and I love to learn more about them. Overall, despite how most see you, I see "crazy" is somewhat of a requirement among alchemists like us."

Ace nods at Professor Agave's advice "Alright, I'll talk to Professor Reading later, if possible."
He then sits down for class.

The first time Ephebe heard any informal speech from Midori: 'um', the melody in her voice seems to momentarily falter, "It would probably be easier to show you, Blackscales-sensei." she reaches down, pulls open her toolkit and pulls out a length of silken ribbon, quite flashy, and bright yellow coloured. Midori intensely focuses, the unicorn horn on her forehead glowing ever so slightly, and the ribbon turns from silk to steel, losing it's yellow colouration in the process. She taps the ribbon on the floor and it makes a metal sound.
Ace smiles at Tamina when she sits down "Its been...interesting, to say the least. But I've enjoyed it all so far"
"Well, Avalon is nothing if not interesting. And this is my favorite class. Back home they always try to do everything for me. Here I can get my hands dirty and nobody cares."

. Sooner or later the young reaper to be gets bord and a little bit curious as children his age are wont to be and he gets the bright idea to put his ear to the door and attempt to listen in

"What do you mean sensei? It is simply another tool, like a shuriken or a kunai." There is a small discordant note in the melodiousness of Midori's voice, the only indication that she may not be entirely truthful. It is somewhat hard to believe that someone so innocent would tell a lie like that.

as the door is opened it catches the boy by suprise resulting in him landing face first on the ground scythe flying out of his hands, blade going through the floor "ow" his hood falls down and the figure is revealed to have chocolate brown hair, one blue eye, one grey eye, with royal features, he's blushing heavily lookijg at the girl who opened the door.
Thought 5th just was let out because raelles attack thing happened in4th (right after lunch) them professor taught another....

Vai falls quiet at that, somberly watching the streams for any blip. She had to be better. She should be helping James shut down the Empire's communication network. Something. "I won't let that happen." the Champion says quietly, almost a whisper, though she has no idea how she would even begin.
