Ignace begins to pack her things back into the sewing basket to carry them back to the sewing room.
"Lang...I am glad that you are feeling better. I...I do not think that you know me very well yet. You do not understand. It is dangerous to be around me. I...I do not think it is good for you to be too attached to me," she said, clearly distressed. "Excuse me. Now that you are recovered I need to leave."

Anahita bint Tariq |

"I suppose, in your eagerness to leave the room- and the awkwardness of your reactions to the other door's occupants, you did not hear me properly when I spoke of the assistance we sought."
She looks annoyed at Sun at this point.
"Your looks, are irrelevant to me in case that is a concern on your part, as you clearly are intelligent and capable of more than a baboon naturally would do. Your ability to be vague, is acknowledged as well."
With a deep breath, she repeats herself for Sun, "We have a possible need for someone gifted with the ability to speak or interact with spirits. I do not believe the need is urgent, however, as there is some discussion yet on what next steps. A choice needs to be made."
Then she looks at Sun and waits, again. Not looking towards the door leading to Lung Fei's situation.
"Please let me know if my Common tongue is lacking in conveying what is required properly. I'm certain that these fine people here would appreciate any and all assistance with this spirit situation."
Once more, Anahita stands there patiently, seemingly patiently, and waits.

when he slows back down he is bleeding from five cuts on his hands and arms and one in his side..
"Your defence is superb, miss..."
"It's what I do," she said, molding a little of her forcefield to the cut on her leg and the one on her shoulder. They were bleeding more than expected. It left her shield less mobile, but keeping her blood inside her body seemed more important at the moment. She's reducing the bleed, but not stopping it altogether. It still worked as long as she manifested her forcefield as a long thin ribbon wrapped around her that she could move aside here and there as necessary.
She pressed the attack this time, blade flashing as she moved with incredible speed, although Renkai certainly wasn't at a disadvantage in that arena.
"You are using Magic? I thought this was a contest of blades? Anything to win I take it..."
Renkai pulls a black bladed rapier with his other hand and the air in front of his face wavers slightly as his wounds seal themselves.
His voice is slightly muffled as he says, "Bring it on, Darling."
Then as she starts to attack he willingly gives ground, blocking only what he cannot dodge and parrying what he cannot block. He seems to be totally reinvigorated and fresh for battle.

Wait. What are you talking about? attached? has Sun been saying things? look I only want to be friends. Please don't leave
But she left already Lang sits on the bed trying to be strong
she hates me now, I should go after her, no that would only upset her more. Man I wish i knew what to do.
Lang just lays back in the bed hiding his face in the pillow trying to cover up his embarrasment.

his eyes fill with excitement. "ooh. a spell-caster." he swiftly analyses the spells. "Heh. not a bad choice. won't help you much though... you want an attack?fine." He lashes out using combat expertise, and only at his lowest bab, using the others for a parry. 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18

That sounds simple enough.

Sadie Jhiwoon |

"Were you not paying attention before? It's not like I just started using the forecefield this second. It's not magic the way most people mean that. It's part of me. It's just something I can do," she said, eyes narrowed as she watched him. This battle just got a lot harder. She was still losing blood, even if she was using parts of her shield as an emergency bandage. And now he appeared to be completely healed. "And I did say I wasn't going to handicap myself."
She retreated slightly, waiting for him to come towards her. She couldn't afford to waste energy now.

His eyes widen. he's too busy right now, but he must have a look at that later.

He steps back toward the crowd and disappears
His voice is directly in her ear an instant later.
"Shall we end this now?"
Then he is back where he disappeared from...
"Come and fight me, bladed princess... no? then I will come to you!"
He charges and simultaniously slashes downward and thrusts; then two sweeping blows one high one low, a pair of thrusts, a single sweep with a feinted thrust... his hands working totally independantly of each other... when the black blade sweeps by she smells a slightly nautious odor, indicating poison...

Sun heads to a chair
mind if I sit?
Lang can help you in that regard but he has now only jouneyed into the spirit world once, but he has quickly adapted to this new found power. Lang doesn't fully realize this yet but a part of what he is, is the bridge between our worlds. between the spirit world and this. He his learning the skills to communicate on our behalf to the various spirits and in return he will bring back important information from them.
lang has already found a troubled spirit he says was bound and full of rage. I can't really pronunce its name but i think it is something like Kryshy -- something
Sun glances toward the door
I also think Lang really likes that girl Ignace and I was hopeing that some time alone would help to see if she feels the same about him.

Anahita bint Tariq |

After Sun speaks of Lang and the connection with spirits, especially at the mention of the spirit's name, which she appears to recognize Anahita gives a silent, 'Ah.' and seems thoughtful.
With a nod after a moment's thought, Anahita says simply, "Excellent. One step complete. Unless we are in haste, I recommend Ori Reading work with Lang Fei, or alternatively, seek out this Mister Lysander, so that they both can grow into a new focus together in this."
She gives Ori Reading a polite and faint smile saying, [b]"If you wish to spend time with me at some point, Professor Reading, in order to vent any pent up rage, I would be happy to do so with you. I often find myself in a similar situations and dispense it for the good of my state of mind and soul. Please inform me as your situation progresses, as you wish, or you desire my further assistance, Professor. I leave you in these gentle being's competent hands." She then turns to look at the assembled.
Anahita at this point nods to the Headmaster, Salis and Sun, before walking for the door leading out. She then steps outside and touches the walls with her finger tips, creating arrows in the direction she was already heading.

Ori Reading |

"Kryshyykilii'vkk? This Lang spoke with it? That's the spirit we were talking about, the one that's bound to me. Full of rage is definitely an accurate description," she interrupted, astounded at this sudden piece of luck.

Sadie was hard pressed to keep clear of the poisoned blade, and ended up with another cut from the other blade, this time along her arm. But she gave as good as got, leaving wounds on her opponent's shoulder and chest. Scratches only, it was the most she could do while his guard was up and he was moving with such speed. She couldn't remember the last time she'd had to work so hard in a fight. It was exhilirating.
She laughed. "It's been too long since I faced an opponent who could really challenge me. I'd forgotten how much fun it is."

Renkai simultaniously sheathes his sword and tosses the borrowed blade into the stone at the students feet. Renkai bows low, and says quietly... meaning for only her to hear but in the silence it is clearly audible to everyone.
"You are a very fine fighter, Thank you for your time, You won our match, Sadie. Your useful power and your tenatious and inventive attack routines were marvolous to behold..."
His knees buckle and he slams face first into the stone floor unable to move.

Renkai was transported to the infirmary as he fell.
Sadie looked around. "Okay, unless one of you is a cleric, I need to go to the infirmary now. Try not to kill each other while I'm gone."

"You're very good. How well do you deal with the unexpected though?" Vai vanishes suddenly from Adon's view, reappearing behind him, where she moves to strike at him before vanishing once again and appearing on the other side of the training space, well out of reach for a counter-attack.

"Good to know about the blade," she said, swaying a bit, "but I'm going to pass out from blood loss here as soon as I let down my forcefield...so I think I really need to go to the infirmary."

Tyrrin graciously accepts the invitation, and sits down. She was still a little embarassed about her outburst in the infirmary, and so says somewhat reservedly, her head bowed slightly. "Before we begin Headmaster, I would like to apologize again for my outburst. My words were harsh when I did not mean them to be. I hope I have not caused any undue distress in Professor Reading. I was actually going to offer to teach her class while she recovered... I suppose it's too late for that now. I will be sure to apologize to Professor Reading personally, so that she knows I bear her no ill-will."

There you are, you trying to ruin everybody I meet or what. What did you tell Ignace, she hates me now, and...
Lang suddenly realizes there are others
ohhh I'm sorry, Lang bows to everyone I am Lang Fei, pleased to meet you all. Lang smiles as he greets everyone but it is pretty obvious that at present the smile is more forced that any real happiness to meet new people. though obviously not directed at anyone (except maybe Sun)
Lang looks back at Sun I hope you aren't going to get these people mad at me too glareing at Sun

"Nah, there isn't much I'm afraid of. Snakes are kinda cool actually"
"Excellent. Why don't you two join us inside then?" A half-orc with scales instead of skin asks. "Class is about to start."
The room itself doesn't look any different than other classrooms, except for the abundance of serpents everywhere. Letting a rather large python crawl up his arm, the half-orc chuckles at the students who are obviously uncomfortable with all the reptiles.
"Please, calm yourselves. My friends aren't going to bite you unless you provoke them, like any animal would. Just pay enough attention not to sit or step on one and you'll be fine. I am professor Ormarr, and this is Care for Magical Creatures. We'll start with something simple for the students new to class. Who can tell me something about familars and the usefulness they serve to spellcasters?"

"Ace" wrote:"Nah, there isn't much I'm afraid of. Snakes are kinda cool actually""Excellent.
"MEEP. Meep meep me-eep meep meep meep. Meep." The tiny teacup drake says loudly from Kitty's shoulder. Kitty blushed.
"Sorry, Professor. Saffire seems to think he's an expert on the subject."

"Ace" |

Ace raises his hand, and when called responds "Familiars are special animals, bound to a spellcaster and containing a small fragment of their soul. Thus empowered, they become quite a bit smarter than their mundane counterparts They are able to grant their master a variety of abilities, from enhanced senses to being able to deliver spells."

Ardiente, of the Fuerte |

I can't even beat that on a 20 "Hun I thought that was bending.. In any case it's my turn to attack, try to counter" he goes down and blasts a 30ft cone of ice from his mouth 20d6 if you take damage you are frozen for two rounds and take 1d4 each round at roughly the same time he demorphs his arms and shoots out a spray of diamonds 16d6 quickened diamond spray slashing damage treated as Adaminjte damage
Ardiente breaths out in sync with Dave, igniting the flames as he breath pushes them out towards the wave of cold. He then seems to grab some of the flames with his hands, and delivers a quick flurry of punches, sending flame out with each punch.
Ardiente is using elemental fists in combination with Fire Blast to deflect the cold. 4 punchs, each worth 7d6 fire damage. 28d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 2, 6, 2, 5, 5, 1, 1, 1, 5, 6, 2, 2, 1, 6, 2, 1, 1, 4, 6, 5, 5, 3, 5, 5, 3, 5) = 96
Ardiente is obviously fighting instinctively at this point, as he crouches into a different form as the wave of diamonds comes next... and then he suddenly realizes what he was doing. Instead he crosses his arms over his face, realizing it was too late to avoid the spray itself.
Ardiente's improved evasion means he still avoids half damage from the spray. DC28 Knowledge (Bending) check to ID the form he shifted into as an Earthbending form.

Tyrrin Denulia |

"Apology accepted. I will let Professor Reading know of your offer."
"No need, Headmaster. I will speak with her personally. Does she have any more classes to teach today?" Tyrrin seems to relax slightly as the Headmaster accepts her apology. "As for the other matter... ever since the inversion of the world, I have been having the same nightmare everytime I fall asleep. My Mother has said the Seer's gifts manifest in different ways in each Seer... and that the visions would cease when I was aware of what they were trying to warn me of... but I feel as though I've already figured out what these visions are warning me of."
"Jaiye suggested that I speak with you. I do not wish to add my burdens to your own, but I would very much appreciate your counsel."

Vai Sunwake |

He turns and blocks your attacks without much effort. he sheathes his sword, and says: "If you find your skirt to be embarrassing, we could take a break until you change into something more suitable. It seems you care about hiding your underclothes, so it seems for the best we stop until you change."
Vai all of a sudden looks resolute, determined. She let go of the deathgrip she had on her skirt. She fell back into a fighting stance, and though her face and neck were still scarlet, she flits over to Adon once again. "I'm fine. I'll stay focused. En garde!"
She seems to be staying true to her word at least, remaining focused on the task at hand.
