The Avalon Chronicles

Game Master lynora

This is a high level rules light game set in a school for magical kids, kinda a mash-up of Soul Eater, Harry Potter, and X-Men. :)

Ace chuckles "I thought your show was pretty spectacular."

Out on the dance floor, he spends most of his time dancing with Ginni, but also takes a turn or two with Tam and Morri, so they don't feel left out. Surprisingly, he's a damn good dancer.

Male Half-Elf

"You want me to crush someone if they try to start something? I won't say need, because I trust you are more than capable of taking care of yourself. It's just that I'd rather not have to make an antidote for whatever you used to poison them." :)

Dark Archive

The firebird's pyrotechnics display had caught Anthony's eye quickly. How could it not, when he had a bird's eye view of the entire concert? Making a mental note to find the firebird later, Anthony adjusts the colored light to look more like flames dancing along the ceiling in time to the music.

Female Human

Belyu had almost forgotten what it was like to be a part of a concert crowd instead of a band, and was actually enoying herself. No double-checking the music equipment, no last minute alteration to stage costumes, just dancing and (sometimes)good music.

male Aasimar Muse-touched Image gestalt waterbender 11/Disciple of the Healing Waters 5/ Bard (street performer/song healer) 16

The music started to pull at Dom. He was used to getting in to the music he played, but it wasn't a usual thing for him to be off stage. He set what was left off the drink down. "I'm joining the crowd on the dance floor Star would you like to join me or am I finding another beauty to dance with?" He them starts moving his hips around as he walks to the dance floor. If Star is joining him he will start dance with her if not he will just start dancing with anyone that catches his attention that is out there alone as well.

"Glad I could provide at least some entertainment."

With his martial training, Ardiente is at very least sure on his feet, and graceful at that. Seeing that Ace has apparently "claimed" Ginni, Ardiente focuses his attentions on the other two ladies. He is strong and co-ordinated to do lifts and other complicated maneuvers. He has a flamboyant nature which certainly comes across in his dancing. He does keep the fire to a minimum though, given the crowded dance floor.

"No, there's no need. It wasn't that kind of situation. The squirrels were being mischievous and one of the students at the table I was at hurt Saki. Well, it turned out that it was a case of abilities gone amok and Saki did get healed and he did apologize....but I'm not entirely ready to forgive him yet. If he can keep his cool and be kind to my friends for the next few days while he helps me clean out the hutches in the mornings....well, then I guess I can let it go. I just don't want to deal with it any more tonight."

Tamina is especially glad to find a dance partner capable of more complicated steps. Though Morrivan is as enthusiastic about it, she does not seem to have as much skill at dancing as her elven friend.

Anahita bint Tariq wrote:

Anahita's face lightly smiles, more and more, as Ehos speaks his mind. She takes a few steps, playfully backwards from him and has her hands behind her back as she does, somewhat, suddenly, moving herself in a manner that hints at her figure and shape, even with the cotton outfit of loose fitting desert cloth. She shakes her head a bit and lets her dark, thick, wavy hair flow around, then pauses to look back at Ehos.

"A being of law and order then, I suspect? Your will imposed upon the chaos that is Nature- forging your nation. It's not something that just any beings can perform.. but, sadly, I cannot agree with your statements on Nature. That is but one aspect of the beauty and mystery. It is, as far as my existence and beliefs are concerned, divine and oh so much greater than anything else."

With another smile, she stretches widely, again, letting the clothing grow more taunt on her form, then stands there with hands on her hips. It's quite alluring, if someone enjoyed a mild performance of feminine wiles that was watching. The moment seems to fade slowly away, as she stands there, looking straight at Ehos' eyes, smiling.

"I am curious what your feelings and thoughts are to my response, Ehos." A grin turns into a smile.

Ehos watches Anahita's increasingly playful movements with... deep interest. A smile of his own lights up his face. He's not exactly sure what he has said that has... so inspired Anahita, but he is certainly not one to complain. She is very beautiful, and he cannot help examining her curves, especially when she draws attention to them.

'Law and order were never my domain.' he displays, obviously distracted by Anahita's... graceful movements. 'I... find your response very interesting, and perhaps you can show me more of this beauty and mystery of which you speak? My nation is constantly at war with lycanthrope tribes with whom we share the forest, so perhaps I have only seen the harshness and cruelty of...'

Once again, Ehos is cut short.

Anthony Dacamara wrote:

With all the unpredictable ability to interrupt that an eleven-year old half-elf can have, Anthony chooses the exact moment after Anahita finishes talking to alert them that Rock's Fall has stopped playing and Electric Octopuses has started.

"Hey, Ehos, the next band has started playing. Gotta a pretty cool beat going!" :)

As the magical text appears in the air before Ehos, he smiles. Anthony was an excellent young man. Intelligent, caring, attentive. Truly, a model youth for anyone. He did have a somewhat poor sense of timing.

'I am quite enjoying our walk thus far, but if you'd prefer to return to the concert, I would not hesitate to join you.'

Ardiente doesn't want anyone to feel left out, especially pretty young women. Even if he had no plans for any romance with a non-firebird, his desire to entertain his great, and so he will attempt to include Morrivan in the more complicated dance moves when possible. Ardiente's muscles are that of a soldier - strong, reliable, and resilient. Despite his continued spins and lifts, he doesn't tire. He is even so bold as to thrown Tamina in the air several feet, catching her easily. Clearly, his idea of dancing would be more suited to a ballroom, but he is somehow managing to adapt it to this music.

Female Human Teenager

Anahita seems to slowly smile at his response, then when the letters appear from Anthony between the two, she glances over to the area where that noise was emanating from earlier.

"It would appear you are being ..summoned. The music seems to have changed, I have no issues returning now." She smiles and appears bemused while motioning towards the 'concert's' direction.

"We can revisit the conversation later. I rarely have the chance to actually speak at length, in my past travels, with ..people. Therefore, I was curious of something after you spoke of your, what I took as disapproving, fight against the chaos of Nature."

With that, she pulls the garment's hood that she has tucked away, and puts it atop her head adjusting it to sit properly once more. It seems to be suited to her well, and at this point, most of her gorgeous, dark, thick, wavy locks of hair are hidden and mostly just her chin to forehead are exposed.

Walking back into the concert area, she takes some time to look around, studying the odd an inhuman first, while taking in the music.

Female Human Teenager

Anahita will (in case it needs repeating) be looking people over, primarily the inhuman looking folk first, (please feel free to describe one's self, I really do enjoy the occasional reminders of appearances or links to such) their gear, and then to new students and/or teachers.

Description of Anahita:
Anahita herself, is a young, adult female. She is roughly 5'6" tall, weighing a lean amount for her height. She seems perpetually caught between teenager and full womanhood, but that does not take from her appearance, rather it adds to the mystic of the female form.

She has black, thick, wavy hair, usually left to hang in a partially combed manner, though it does appear well tended and clean. She has black eyes, angular features and a small, though medium full lipped mouth.

Consider an Arabian Princess, of the beautiful variety, and you're set.

She has no visible scars or blemishes, tattoos or other beauty or body marks. For the most part, she appears as a remarkable, and mighty for human, looking teenager in her 16 years of age.

Watching her for any length of time clearly identifies her as something 'more' than your average human, in her alertness, movements, and over all reactions to her surroundings.

She is currently dressed in 'desert' attire, a cotton/khaki colored outfit that seems loose against her figure. On her left hand she seems to have the only piece of jewelry, some golden/silver looking fine linked chain that wraps through her fingers and around her wrist, ducking beneath her sleeve.

Anahita was an enigma to Ehos. She was magnificent, intelligent, patient, beautiful, and kind. He couldn't sort out his feelings for her, and so does not try. Life was better when you didn't overthink it anyway.

As the pair return to the auditorium, Ehos mulls over the days events. It had seemed such a busy day, compared to his normal lackadasical time-wasting. It was probably good for him, to be so taken out of his shell. 'You will have to tell me of your travels. That is a tale I'm sure would be worth telling, from what little I have heard already.' At some point, Ehos will politely offer his arm, in a proper, respectful way, taking no offense if Anahita declines.

The music was indeed better. Still not great, but at least his ears did not want to break free from his head and flee. He looks for Anthony once again in the rafters, and waves once again. 'Thank you.' The datapad displays once again in large letters. The lighting has taken a fiery tint, and Ehos had to wonder why.

Because of course...

Ehos felt a little thirsty. 'Would you like a drink Anahita? I warn you that someone has probably added some alcohol to everything. It seems to be a kind of tradition.'

Sadie walked into the crowded concert hall. She'd been virtually kicked out of then elementary wing, told that Dara would be okay for a few hours without her and actually ordered to go have fun. The last time she'd gone to a school event it....hadn't ended up so great. Nothing like having a girl realize she's into boys after you kiss her to really boost the confidence. She sighed.

There are a lot of us who use telepathy naturally....seems to go along with shapeshifting if the other form doesn't have obvious means of understandable vocalization. Female Human Teenager

"Someone .. will have added alcohol to the drinks? Why.. oh. I think I can understand." She gives a chuckle while looking about and spotting some people she had met and seen before, studying their odd, yet happy filled, dancing style.

With his pro-offered arm out, Anahita considers it a moment, then takes it, standing at his left side. She slips the arm through, not simply laying it atop his own.

"I don't recall asking how long you've been here- you appear to be well versed in the flow of things." Then, while standing there looking about, she looks to the ceiling, then over to the refreshments and snacks.

Slipping her arm out again, she looks to him and says, "I've sipped some spirits and wines in my travels. It has never really affected me too greatly, but .. do you think it will be a very strong dose?" She looks around to see if there are other people 'drunk', considering things.

Then she notices some of the outfits people might have on, starting with the females and then the males. Always looking around, snapping a glance this way and that. Ehos can tell at this point, if he's perceptive, that Anahita does not appear too calm and restrained, but rather, a bit scattered, taking in all the motions and reactions of people, with a look of uncertainty in her face.

"Please do as you would, Ehos, I .. would like to watch, and get familiar with this ritual. I'm not familiar .. it's, different. The music has improved though." She ends that on a positive note while playfully pushing him lightly, towards the dancers and engaged crowds.
