Ardiente, of the Fuerte |

The young monk finishes his routine, but is surprised by the appearance of another person in the training room that is neither his Sabumnim Sunwake nor Vai. Moreso by the fact that he seems to be surrounded by stone that should have gone right through the area where this person is crouched.
Perception Check: 1d20+32
Recognizing the stance the stranger has assumed, Fei comes around the debris field toward him.
"Are...you one of Sabumnim Sunwake's new pupils?" he asks the newcomer with a small bow. "And do you require medical attention?" he continues, nodding at his token injury with a focused eye.
Ardiente jumps up out of his stance the moment he realizes that Fei was watching him. He bows respectfully, a little sheepish. He really should have announced himself around such power. "I apologize, I do not know of this Sabumnim Sunwake." is Ardiente's reply. Realizing Fei's attention was directed toward the gash under on his cheek, the firebird shakes his head. "That won't be necessary. I am... self-sufficient, if you will." Ardiente conjures some flame, which he twirls around his hand with a flourish before channeling it towards his wound. The blast of fire subsides, and the wound is completely gone. "I apologize for interrupting your training regimen, though it seems I was rather lucky to have avoided the worst of it."
Bluff: 1d20 + 24 ⇒ (6) + 24 = 30
Ardiente is trying to convince you that it was a matter of luck that he avoided the shrapnel. This is somewhat suspect, given the nature of the walls around him, and the stance he had adopted. (+5 bonus on Sense Motive)
"But where are my manners? My name is Ardiente, of House Fuerte. I have only just arrived here today, and was curious as to the noises coming from this room. Your prowess is exquisite. I would not mind sparring with you, if you'd permit me." Ardiente very clearly respects Fei's prowess, but a trained mind could easily notice that he was diverting the course of the conversation away from the... explosive incident.

Aanandareavekki |

"Greetings. I am Aandal, from the ruined temple in the jungle. Are you Professor Sunwake? The Headmaster mentioned that you are an earthbending instructor whose schedule has become rather full."
"Umm...which ruined temple in which jungle?" she asked, suddenly wary.

Dom Waverider |

in case i wasnt clear I had dom agree to teleport with me the second time
"Its just a natural thing I was born with I guess you could say I specialize in it" as he is shifting about grabbing food.
Ah he would have just walked since he didn't realize you were wanting to TP him. Beside gives him more chances to meet more people."
"Really that's pretty cool. I have to use spells to travel like that I tend not to bother doing it much. Helps to have it as a back up rather than using all my energy up. Your said you are a traveler but where going to stick around awhile. Is there any reason in particular you choose to stay here?"

Raelle del Sol |

"You know i may have heard the same thing ,I would be honored if you would allow me to take you to the concert," he pauses as if listening "I think they just started"
"Then we should hurry before we miss any more of it," she said, much more cheerful now. "Even if they do always put the worst band on first." ^.^

Lang Fei |

As the show starts Lang offers ignace a drink.
I don't know what Firbirds like to drink I hope this is ok
Lang looks to her. in case I never said it, you look pretty tonight
Lang turns back to enjoy opening performers. having never been to any kind of show like this, any performer is exciting.
Oh be sure to point out your sister, can't wait to hear her

Tybalt Baneko |

"It might be the range of people here or the experiences I think if I stay here I'd see and do more than if I was traveling for the rest of my life. . . . .Ooh strawberry cake!" another sudden deep moment ruined by flighty unfocused-ness.Tybalt is now floating moderately high above the crowd reaching down to get things from the table. "I pretty much have to keep above the people from this point on unless I want my tail destroyed. Imagine getting your hands and feet stepped on at the same time then times that by like five thousand."

Raelle del Sol |

"They might just be warming up, it's hard to tell at this distance," as they walk or run or somewhere in between, he says " I met another one of your sisters, just prior to coming to the concert earlier,"
"Oh? Which one?" She winced as she heard the 'music' coming from the auditorium. "Ugh. Rocks Fall has got to be the worst band here. You can't even tell the difference between warming up and attempting to perform."

Salis of Bletherad |

After Aanand had returned Salis left the medical wing. He had been working on many project recently but it seemed more and more caught his attention each day. How he would return back to his home, the source of magic within is verse, the boy with multiple souls, and now this one uncontrollable ability. Ever since he arrived here he had been pushing himself to find answers. In the past he had never had to research one particular project he had always just heard of a rumor and when to check it out, but this land was vast and he would never be able to travel it alone.
He hadn't noticed the length of distance he had traveled going to the infirmary, but considering he had been running and jumping from floor to floor on his way he could see why he had not noticed. The voices of the students in the concert hall could be heard down the hall, so he knew he was getting close once again. Perhaps nothing would happen the rest of the night and allow him a break from himself..... Too bad this is Avalon

Aanandareavekki |

"Well, Master Quo mentioned that it was once called the Temple of the Flowing Water, but I never actually went to the temple itself. It was forbidden."
"You knew Master Quo?! When did you meet him? Oh, right, after the temple was destroyed....but then where were you when we found Master Quo? He was living by himself..."

She blushed. "Th-thank you," she stammered, surprised by the compliment. She took a large drink of the beverage he'd handed her to try to hide her embarrassment.
"Oh! It's full of wax," she said, delighted. "I was afraid it was going to be sugar water."
I'm assuming Rosa provided snacks appropriate for a firebird as well as a human. :)

Dom Waverider |

"Ouch. Sounds about as painful as this band. Are they just trying to warm up or are they actually playing. It looks like they are playing but it sounds like they are stepping on your tail... No offense.
Had too play off Raelle's comment.

Tybalt Baneko |

"Heh trust me if they were stepping on my tail you'd know the whole school would probably know. That happening on stage is a crime against music. . . And I've heard cats try to sing so that's saying something." :/ he flinches as an especially bad chord is failed terribly. "Agh does no one have magic that can end this torture!"

Rosa.Luminass.. |

Yep you can assum so, the thing has a simple AI mind so will make what ever it things would be best
Rosa likes the band now playing
"Very experimentl" she says

Roel |

Bl.. URBLE? Roel sort of bubbles as he hears something from the auditorium. he moves towards this horrible noise, curiosity overpowering common sense, and gets into the room with the band laying horribly. the crowd isn't much of a problem, as they either move away or he just moves around them easily.

He wouldn't tell me about that either. He sent me away on an errand and when I returned, a gravestone was all that remained."

Lang just smiles, happy to see Ignace smile.
I am glad she is haveing a good time
Lang grabs a snack and watches the show every so often He glances over to see if Ignace is haveing fun.

Dom Waverider |

Dom cringes at the note. "Well at least they're almost done. Hopefully the other bands will be better." He takes a drink from his water bottle just after finishing the apple. "I'm surprised this place is staying as cool as it is. With this many people you would figure that it would be warming up?"

Ehos Denulia |

Upon the return of the pair from the lab, Ehos' eyes open at Anahita's touch. He sits up, smiling, if a little sadly.
Once again secure behind his scarf, Ehos is contented, though his mood is a little more sombre. 'I am very grateful for your assistance, Professor Sunwake. Even this small step is a giant leap for me. It will open many doors in communicating with others. You have helped me a great deal as well, Anahita. My gratitude.' The words flash up in increments so as to be easily legible, and then vanish to be replaced with more words. It is quite easy to keep pace with the datapad. 'I am glad we tested it before putting it to use, and that no one was injured.' Ehos' datapad continues to display words. Perhaps he is making up for all the things he has not said in the past 5 months. He is now standing, not looking in the slightest as though he had been on the brink of death not a half-hour ago. The very model of a healthy 'teenaged' elf. Catching the tail end of Anahita's question about his destructive voice, he answers her himself.
'We're not sure of the "How" or the "Why", but I can tell you the "When". I believe I briefly mentioned this earlier, but about five months ago there was... an event during which a massive amount of magical energy was used to change the state of our world in a drastic way. It was on that evening that my "ability" first manifested. My sister also had a power manifest at the same time. There is not much more to elaborate upon. Even the most skilled among the psychic and magical have not been able to de-tangle the magic.'
Not wanting to remain further in the infirmary, Ehos looks at Anahita questioningly. 'If you wish, I believe there is a concert this evening. The music tend to be loud, but there is a certain beauty in it. Would you like to attend? I would accompany you, if you wished.'

"Ace" |

Before continuing, Ace asks his friend if he may elaborate "Not sure if you want to wait till we leave here or not. Up to you doll"

Anahita bint Tariq |

"A concert is welcome. Please be sure to speak your wishes as well, Ehos, I am not fully comfortable being the only decision maker just yet, though I appreciate your gesture. Choice of an individual is important to me."
Anahita smiles regardless, following along with him to the concert being held.
She shifts her head dress from one part of her outfit's belt to another location, perhaps to replace it from earlier while examining the people present as well. Primarily looking to anyone with technological gear or outlandish (i.e. inhuman) appearances.

GM Fireclaw |

Strangely, Aegythrax is really the one to blame Taron. He was the one who destabilized the energy, the other presence in the link. He was watching Vai when all that went down. He kinda freaked at the prospect of the planet being destroyed while he was in it, and so poured all his energy into the link. Ryleh wasn't really ready for that much energy.

'I would not have suggested it had I not wished to attend.' Ehos displays with a hidden smile. Anahita is likely finding it easier and easier to discern his facial expressions, in spite of the scarf.
Upon their arrival, Ehos will examine the room for anyone he knows well enough to introduce to Anahita. Eventually he will spot Anthony in the rafters and waves, as Anthony provides his own brand of lightning to the show.

Taron Sunwake |

Which wouldn't have happened without my Super Wildsurged Metaconcert. For that, I am to blame. Though I suspected it was Madness Champion Chan who was behind it, not Aegythrax.

Anahita bint Tariq |

Anahita smiles happily at Ehos' response while peering around.
If the music is too "technological" (aka 'dub step'), Anahita frowns and makes a pained face, though anything with a decent pattern and various layers of music and singing will not get such a look. Clearly she has an opinion on likes and dislikes with regards to music.
She does not, however, really move or dance, merely stand there while paying attention.
"Most interesting. I'm not quite sure what now. Enjoyable thus far."
She'll stand and enjoy the show.

Tybalt Baneko |

Dom cringes at the note. "Well at least they're almost done. Hopefully the other bands will be better." He takes a drink from his water bottle just after finishing the apple. "I'm surprised this place is staying as cool as it is. With this many people you would figure that it would be warming up?"
"Ya that might have something to do with me see?" Tybalt freezes the bottle in Dom's hand solid to demonstrate.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

Ardiente:
"But where are my manners? My name is Ardiente, of House Fuerte. I have only just arrived here today, and was curious as to the noises coming from this room. Your prowess is exquisite. I would not mind sparring with you, if you'd permit me."...
Fei returns the bow.
"I am Fei. And I do not think luck is what kept you from harm, but it is impolite to pry into private matters when one is not invited" he replies sagely. "And it is I who should apologize - I should have locked the door to make sure no one could enter and be at risk."
"Sabu....er, Professor Sunwake is a member of the Academy staff. She presides over the school's security, but is also a directed study instructor for certain students. I would recommend that you speak with her. She is the only one who can sanction being in this training room...or in any proximity to me when I must...train."
And Ardiente again :)

GM Fireclaw |

Which wouldn't have happened without my Super Wildsurged Metaconcert. For that, I am to blame. Though I suspected it was Madness Champion Chan who was behind it, not Aegythrax.
I think Chan might've done just that, except that would've meant tipping his hand. I'm fairly certain Ryleh would've registered Chan in the link. Though I suppose it can stil be traced back to him: Aegythrax would've never make it to Agartha if it weren't for Chan.

An accord between us noble warriors! How honourable! Ardiente's imagination and flair for drama takes over, washing his fears away. Fei was clearly a noble soul, and Ardiente relaxes his formality slightly. "I will speak with this Professor when I have the chance." Ardiente doesn't mention the sparring, or the training again, taking what Fei had left unspoken very seriously. A matter of honour. "Dear gods, I'm going to miss FAIN!" Ardiente suddenly exclaims, looking decidedly worried. "If you'll excuse me Fei. I've just realized what the time is. I must be going! It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance." With a small bow, Ardiente rushes over to the door and opens it, leaping into the air and transforming into bird shape with one swift movement. The last Fei sees before the door shuts is Ardiente flying at speed, leaving a jet of fire in his wake.

She most certainly would have noticed Chan....if he hadn't been using Aegythrax as a conduit to funnel energy into the link. He wasn't real thrilled about Taron's plans for obvious reasons.

Vai Sunwake |

Vai was content. A large meal had been exactly what she needed, especially looking towards the night's exertions. She could spend a couple hours consecutively in dragon form now, much better than the token seconds she had managed the first few transformations.
She was currently trying to find her harness, the one Kitty had made during the War, and which had later been enchanted to ensure that no one could fall from it. She could've sworn it was in her room somewhere. Ah, there we go. Buried in the back of her closet. It had been a while since she had passengers while flying.
Considering Vai's stature, it looked very strange that this teenager was carrying a saddle which was almost as large as she was, with a whole bunch of leather trappings aside. She and Fei has agreed to meet on the roof, so that's where she was headed.
Reaching the roof in good time despite her load, Vai welcomed the warmth of the setting sun. She set the harness on the ground and began her transformation. In her draconic form, she began doing what she could to fit the harness. She couldn't tighten it properly, or get all the straps set properly, so she simply did what she could before laying on the roof, tail drooping over the edge of the school. She basked in the sunlight, her blue scales shimmering in the early evening light.

Ginni |

Before continuing, Ace asks his friend if he may elaborate "Not sure if you want to wait till we leave here or not. Up to you doll"
"We can talk about it later...like sometime when this awful band isn't trying to screech us all to death," she said over the cacophony that was Rocks Fall's attempt at a performance. "Troll metal is just awful!"

Star_Light |

Upon their arrival, Ehos will examine the room for anyone he knows well enough to introduce to Anahita. Eventually he will spot Anthony in the rafters and waves, as Anthony provides his own brand of lightning to the show.
As Ehos arrives the Star light thats been following him zipping around meets another one in the dance hall, they look at each other for a moment then join to become one in a small flash of light.
Then She zips off to join other flying students in the air above the Bands.

Ehos Denulia |

'Ug, I think most people in here would prefer the sound of my voice to this, if you take my meaning.' Ehos jokes, trying to keep the mood between him and Anahita light. He wanted to ask her to dance... but not to this.... "music".
He waves goodbye to Star Light as she flies up to join herself... a somewhat disjointing experience for Ehos.

Aanandareavekki |

"Well, you certainly describe the time dilation effect near the jungle accurately...though it seems quite the coincidence...." she said, still suspicious of his story. "Tell me something that Master Quo would say."

Anahita bint Tariq |

Anahita greets Star Light once, apparently accustomed to the flickering Fae's manner now.
"There is nothing I can appreciate in this ...noise." Anahita exclaims frankly, then looking over to Ehos with a squirmed up face. "Certainly nothing ..no, I shall be silent, this is a new world. It does not mean I need to stand here, though."
She peers around and points off towards the garden in sight. "Distance will help mitigate the desire to do damage that this seems to solicit. Shall we withdraw for a few? Otherwise," she digs up some of the paperwork or other 'new student paperwork' she was provided earlier, "I could always see about my room," pointing at the documents. "How are the sleeping quarters? Do you know if it is permissible to make other arrangements as desired?"
Given that the sound of the band, and their 'music', may be a bit over whelming, Anahita indicates that she is leaving the immediate area for the garden, or -away-, so the sounds being generated diminish (in theory) with distance.
While heading off, she peers back to see if Ehos will opt to stay or not.

David.De'Foul |

"Oh? Which one?" She winced as she heard the 'music' coming from the auditorium. "Ugh. Rocks Fall has got to be the worst band here. You can't even tell the difference between warming up and attempting to perform."
"um I think her name was Ignance or something like that, looked around 11-14 something like that, I'd guess 12... how fast do firebirds age" finding that the noise made it hard to hear his voice he repeats the statement in her head:: probably best to comunicate like this so I don't have to compete with this trash, I could do better than this... hmm that's an idea, I might go check if anyone in town has a good base..::
somehow I missed the first part of what she said when I checked on my I-pod this morning so here is the responce to the rest of it
Ehos Denulia |

'I am of the same mind.' Finally Ehos has the advantage in communication, as reading his pad his much easier than trying to hear in the din. 'However, let us not retreat too long. There are much more musically inclined grouped at the school, and we would be remiss if we were to miss them.' Ehos follows Anahita out into the hallway outside the auditorium. The racket was much less pronounced here. 'The rooms are...' Ehos pauses, searching for the right word. The data pad displays an hourglass during the pause. 'mutable. They have to be, considering the wide variety of students at the school. There is even a magma elemental here, so the rooms are enchanted to adjust themselves to their occupants comfort. Though the Headmaster is very accommodating to requests from students. If you wish, we could either explore the gardens for now, or we could visit your room. Whatever is your preference.'
Edit:
Anthony's trademark script blocks Ehos just as he's about to leave. The elf looks up towards Anthony and nods. He displays 'Thanks' in big bold letters to his friend.

Anahita bint Tariq |

Anahita pauses while looking around and glances at Ehos when mention of visiting her room. She lifts her eyebrows slightly with curiosity and asks, "My initial reaction was to ask if such is appropriate. I shall quell that thought, though, since.. well, this is not my land and the cultures here are diverse. Forgive my reaction."
She takes a few moments to think on it and then asks, "I am not truly tired, yet. Perhaps a walk in the gardens. I am occasionally ..I feel constrained in all these walls of .. odd materials and technology." She doesn't 'cringe' at the walls and such, but she definitely makes a little worrisome face glancing around.
While walking she inquires of Ehos, "Why do .. or rather, what was that 'music' supposed to represent? Their inner feelings, or pain? Some sort of rage against existence? It felt .. disjointed, angry. Unconnected and ..violent, for no discernible reason. Chaotic." Her face says she could speak more descriptors, but she falls quiet, a lightly puzzled expression on her features.
