No thats great for back story stuff and training like this, its good, if you ask Rosa to show you or train you then yes rolls will be needed. As with some PE classes. but if your happy you can just ask the SIM mind to halt and walk out.
Rosa as if from no where shows up, the sim falls away and a large empty room is left with an exit door.

It's certainly possible. Though they wouldn't have had many times when their paths crossed thus far. Tamina is trying to use her school time to get away from politics since it's her only chance to do so. But if they were to run into each other, yeah, they've almost certainly met before.

Hi there Lang. I'm Tybalt Baneko. I was wondering why a baboon was at a school for magic kids. That makes much more sense than what I thought. And yes I am a large anthromorphic cat. I am from a planet not far from here populated mostly by my kind although I'm given to understand that we are more wide spread. We have taken to be called catfolk. Whats in the bag by the way?" Ehos will attempt show how to use a datapad to Anahita, possibly writing out instructions if his pantomimes don't get across. She seems very interested in them, so he wants to help her understand that they use a combination of magic and other power sources to store books upon books worth of information.
He shakes his head in response to her question. 'The school hasn't been here that long... I think the library is linked to other libraries through the dimensions and across the stars. There may even be things here from.. "Golerion". (followed by a superscript question mark. He's unsure of the spelling) We can look for those if you like.'

As if its completely normal "Oh that. Now I remember it was you who was talking about water bending! I'm afraid that's a horse of a different color right there.".

"Yes, I'm working on a magical telescope. In fact, it should be complete tonight if all is successful. I just have to make sure I'm setting up the power conduits right, or else I might drain all the school's power. Which would be a problem, as I'm sure you can imagine."
Hmmm.... (-_-)
And this is why i have the emergency power on a different grid. That, and the school's been taking all sorts of natural energy(such as solar) and storing it since it was turned into a school.
Amongst other sources ;)

Rain fell in torrents as a figure came into view down the now muddy path toward the school, the water noisily splattering on the long, leather cloak as they ran, splashing in puddles. The moment they entered through the doors, they lowered the hood and revealed a pale toned female elf with light blond hair and eyes that glowed red as if an inner fire was radiating out from them. Around her neck hung a pendant in the shape of a teardrop with living flames inside. The water on her already seemed to evaporate as she rotated the stiffness out of her shoulder.
She had received her letter of admittance months ago, but an unknown tragedy kept her away until now. She walked down the halls, admiring the beauty of the construct, until a door materialized in front of her.
"Magical Theory? It almost is like something read my mind," she whispered to herself, a little apprehensively. Unknowing to her, the air around her began to shimmer and become warmer, as if heat waves were rolling off her.

Ace chuckles "Bah, the only reason nobody's been very successful is because they aren't the best in the world!. I promise we'll figure something useful out soon. I told Tyrrin I would help her out tonight with her telescope, but once I do that, I will spend as much of my free time as necessary in order to find a way to help you."

lang looks a bit sad about Ty not being a waterbender.
But you know about benders then? because I am going to be a water bender. the headmistress said I should learn waterbending since I showed potential for it when I accidentially almost froze some poor boy's face.
