"You're Fieri's sister, that's good enough to be my own, as far as I'm concerned." Vai responded to Raelle's correction. She didn't really feel like all that was necessary.
"Hello everyone. Pleasure to meet you all." Vai curtsies politely to the table, having finally set out all her food. "And I apologize again for last night Ace." she adds, sounding a little ashamed.
She takes a seat, digging into the pile of food. She's a little self-conscious about how many people are at the table though, so she's a little more reserved about her lunch than she might otherwise be.
"I'm sorry, Vai. I didn't mean to offend. I was just trying to explain where you fit into our big extended family. It kinda...became an issue for a bit earlier. No big, all over now. But I figured it couldn't hurt to explain who's who. Plus I'm still getting used to suddenly having so many older siblings," she said with a shrug.
"Oh, so you already met Ace."
"And I apologize again for last night Ace." she adds, sounding a little ashamed.
Ace chuckles "Bah, the only reason nobody's been very successful is because they aren't the best in the world!. I promise we'll figure something useful out soon. I told Tyrrin I would help her out tonight with her telescope, but once I do that, I will spend as much of my free time as necessary in order to find a way to help you."
"Helping Tyrrin huh? Should I be worrying about you flirting with other pretty girls?" she said with a wink, obviously teasing.
Ardiente, trying to steer the conversation away from any more talk of eating souls, swallows his mouthful before saying: "So what is everyone's favourite class?"
Unless folks are really paying attention, Ardiente seems like he's genuinely interested, and not merely changing the subject.

Rain fell in torrents as a figure came into view down the now muddy path toward the school, the water noisily splattering on the long, leather cloak as they ran, splashing in puddles. The moment they entered through the doors, they lowered the hood and revealed a pale toned female elf with light blond hair and eyes that glowed red as if an inner fire was radiating out from them. Around her neck hung a pendant in the shape of a teardrop with living flames inside. The water on her already seemed to evaporate as she rotated the stiffness out of her shoulder.
She had received her letter of admittance months ago, but an unknown tragedy kept her away until now. She walked down the halls, admiring the beauty of the construct, until a door materialized in front of her.
"Magical Theory? It almost is like something read my mind," she whispered to herself, a little apprehensively. Unknowing to her, the air around her began to shimmer and become warmer, as if heat waves were rolling off her.
Salis was reading a book within his class room. A Picture hung in the room of a fearsome adventuring party, composed of a snakeman, a giant, one half-ogre, a dragon and him along with a few other otherworldly races. The room was empty of people cept Salis.
Raelle blushed as a round of giggles started from the girls at Dave's misspeak.

Ace bursts out laughing at Dave's accidental comment "Wow, you just met Rae yesterday and already you plan on marrying her. Talk about jumping into the fire. Pun intended"
He replies to Ginni "Don't be jealous baby, you're the only girl I want eating my soul" He says with a grin that makes it obvious he's joking.

Raelle laughed, glad of the distraction from the slightly embarrassing moment. "You do know my sister Fi is married right? Not that she minds a little harmless flirtation, but it tends to make James a bit cranky." ;)
Make that very embarrassing moment, she thought, as she blushed all over again at Ace's comment.
Dave's face is now visably red from a moderate distanse, though he says nothing to directly deny what Ace said, he then tries to act as though he hadn't heard Ace and repeats himself "so like I was saying, anyone know what other bands are good around here?"
She put her hand on the door against her better judgement, and an impulse made her enter the room. She glanced around, seeing the portrait on the wall. It was of creatures and beings that she recognized, and some she had never even heard of in her 118 years of life. It took her a moment, but she could hear the sound of what seemed like a page being turned. Her eyes flashed over to where the sound originated and saw an elf similar to her sitting at a desk, reading.
"I'm sorry to disturb you. I didn't know anyone was in here," she said to him, not realizing that she was speaking in HIS native tongue, thus was her curse of being an oracle.
Ace bursts out laughing at Dave's accidental comment "Wow, you just met Rae yesterday and already you plan on marrying her. Talk about jumping into the fire. Pun intended"

"Oh, Ace, you say the sweetest things," she cooed, batting her eyelashes in a mockery of flirting. And then burst out laughing as Morrivan tossed an empty wrapper at her to get her to stop.
