well, 'Uncle Max' was a little crazy. he could have easily been a hermaphroditic female and Umbri wouldn't have known. she has been good enough to not catch her uncle in the bath, or he could have even been a family friend who may not have been a fey at all and used long duration polymorph spells to conceal it in front of his 'niece'

and ain't that just charming to think about, and now it must be said again BACK TO THE STORY hopefully....

Sometimes we sidetrack ourselves. It's fun, sometimes helpful, and hasn't stopped this huge post count game yet. I know you got in, but you can relax a bit.
it was mostly a joke and I just like shouting sometimes, even via text
Rosa.Luminass..
Rosa makes her way to the head master office, having a short meeting to talk over the day and next few days, thanking him for his time she heads back to the gym and starts to check over the suits and other systems, then up to her lab where interesting a new core mind and backs herself up with the events of the day.
Treisdan Achdarach
Looks extremely startled when you say that you think you know what she is.
"She is not just a nature spirt, Grandmother Huntress was a protector who defended the weak from monsters of the forest and died doing so. Even after death she rejected eternal peace to help others protect themselves and their allys."
Hmmmm.... If satyrs are male nymphs... Ugh... I Really Really Really shouldn't have chosen today to have the lower half of a goat
Rosa.Luminass..
Rosa walks over to the PA system she asked to be put in the training room.
She activates is and loads a sound file and its place, the whole space is suddenly filled with Drum and bass sounds that shake the floor and walls, she smiles,
"That's better, now to get some work done. She picks up her tool box and heads to the 1st of the battle suits and starts her systems check with the sound damping."
Rosa is out of her big yellow suit now so this is how she looks
Tyrrin Denulia
"So much for the tour..." Tyrrin mutters as a good half the students she was leading around vanish, chasing some the sound of an explosion. If they were that excitable by explosions, they were going to have an exhausting time at Avalon. It seemed like something exploded at least once a day.
"Alright, we've had a good look at the workshops and laboratories now, I think we will conclude by looking at the Cafeteria. I'm sure you all are hungry." Tyrrin was a bit miffed that her tour group had all run off, but there was nothing to do. Can't control children, any parent will tell you.
Having lead the way to the cafeteria, and let the students know that all the food was free as long as they were students. She took down names and told them she would speak to the Headmaster on their behalf, get them sorted with rooms and basic schedules. Then she left them to their meals.
Tyrrin returned to the Headmaster's office, thankful that it was blissfully quiet. Most of the students had come with her on the tour anyway. She knocks softly on the door.

"Uh...no," she said, shaking her head. She'd already pretty much exhausted her meager knowledge on the subjects of spaceships and offworld travel.
Krisilanni Rashira
As the explosion rocked the place, Krisilanni did react, though not by really jumping; all he did was pull out his dagger and point it at his right forearm, just in case. Those that didn't know what he did for offense would certainly be rather perplexed by what he was doing, perhaps even think he was a masochist.
It seemed that he didn't need to do such a thing, though, as the elf walked off and led him to the cafeteria, and seemed to think that was the end of it. Only three places in a huge building like this? No way he was standing for that! While the others filed out to get something to eat, he instead followed Tyrrin, though he was still in the mood for some trickery, so he made sure no one was looking before he slipped on his ring of invisibility.
As silently as possible, he followed her until she got to the headmaster's door, and that's when he made his move; while still invisible, he tapped her on the shoulder, then quickly ducked out of the way to the side, just in case she would step in the direction of the tap and hit him.
Just not that sure about it, but should I make a Stealth check for this?
Ephebe
"We'll see. I might just make it worse." He pauses for a moment before continuing. "You say he hasn't spoken? At all?"
"Not for four months, no, not a word. The townspeople from his village ran his sister out of town when she developed powers. From what she's said from letters she received from the family the town was a bit colder to them after that, but they were tolerated. And over time things started to get better. And then Dara developed powers. Something to do with metal. Since he won't talk I had to use the Pool to find out what happened and you know how unreliable it is for viewing the recent past. The image was pretty fuzzy. From what I could make out he used his powers to help a friend who would have been trampled by a team of runaway oxen if Dara hadn't used the metal in their harness to pull them off course. And in return the people he'd grown up with, that he trusted, formed an angry mob. They murdered his parents right in front of him when they tried to protect him. I'm still not sure how he made it to the train. Someone helped him. I don't think it ended well for them. And Dara Jhiwoon is terrified of trusting anyone now."

"not suprising, there aren't many of those left, espically here, you would not believe how hard it is to find parts on this rock, that or manuscripts or someone who knows anything useful, still, I've always enjoyed figuring stuff out as I go along, but anyway, is there anything wierd about the tower that would make it hard to fix? other than the fact that it's tall I mean."

Lang followed Chara up and down a few more hallways starting to get bored. he stopped feeling a rumble in his stomach.

Tyrrin Denulia
Definitely a stealth check (remember that invisibility adds 20), here is my perception: 1d20 + 30 ⇒ (7) + 30 = 37
Tyrrin glances around, not immediately seeing anyone. She casts a Quickened Invisibility Purge, not really in the mood for games.

Krisilanni Rashira
Hearing that Tyrrin was casting a spell, Krisilanni knew that she was about to purge his invisibility; that would be no fun, and she'd immediately know it was him! Unless...
Thinking quickly, before the final few words of the spell were spoken, the kitsune altered his shape to look like that of a human, doing his best not to be seen.
Whether spotted or not, his form was changed to that of a higher-teen male, with short, blonde hair to just over his ears, green eyes, wearing the clothes of what seemed to be an ordinary monk, and, of course, no tails behind him.
David.De'Foul
Actually, using Mage Hand would be a lot harder, considering Krisilanni can't even learn it. He's got the oracle part, which means he learns cleric spells; he can't possibly learn Mage Hand.
oops sorry I musta missed that
Tyrrin Denulia
As I said to him in PM, as long as his actions are reasonable and fun, rules like initiative are secondary. So I'm fine with him shifting mid-cast. I don't think he'd have time to hide behind anything though.
Tyrrin spotted the teenager, his invisibility now dispelled. She was irritated, but she had to keep calm. It was important to not snap at people. She had been practicing. "Can I help you young man?" she says sweetly.
Vai Sunwake
Salis walks back to his the table he was previously eating at. As he sits down he gets six books out of his satchel slowly sitting the books in a sort of order. Each one seems to be in a different language. All of the book cover subjects about ancient magic except one that has no title.
This is said if Vai is still at the table upon his return.
"Seems a new student has brought a air ship along with him. He had a little trouble finding a place to tie it off."
If Salis (or anyone in the cafeteria) has anything that lets them see magical auras, Vai's pendant radiates a powerful aura, but try as they might, nothing can be discerned through spellcraft.
"Airship? I don't believe I've ever seen one… I wonder if it is anything like the shuttles my brother is building. I tried to get him to let me in the factory, but he said it was too dangerous to wander through." Salis notes that the rather large amount of food that Vai had is pretty much entirely gone, something that doesn't seem possible, considering her average frame.
Krisilanni Rashira
Doing his best not to laugh, Kris saw that he managed to fool Tyrrin; she didn't seem to know that he was the kitsune she was showing around earlier. He then started to come up with something to make the undead-defender feel guilty, confused, or something else that would make him feel amused.
"H-hey! What are you doing?!" he asked wildly, attempting to sound frightened. "Can't you see I'm hiding?! They'll find me!"

Elsewhere on Agartha...
A man leans back in his chair. It had been four months of long, hard work, but it was done. Now he just needed a power source...

Tyrrin's eyes narrowed. "Who is after you? Where are they?"
Krisilanni Rashira
The boy most certainly isn't as frightened as he seems; in fact, he's most likely just trying to mess with Tyrrin. From the narrowed eyes, Kris had a feeling that Tyrrin wasn't about to believe his tale, though at least he was still disguised. Still, he had to keep trying; perhaps he could still pull out of this. "Sk-skeletons!" he yelled, trying to make others hear, though he almost snickered, amused at himself, finding the thought of anyone being afraid of skeletons funny. "Big ones...o-out near the big tower!"
He knew that he wasn't going to be believed anymore, but at least it might annoy Tyrrin; it would be better than nothing, and he was sure he wouldn't get in trouble for it.

"As Master Quo would say, Patience is a virtue rarely cultivated until after you need it," the young woman walking out of the school building said, sounding amused. She was petite with dark hair, wearing a simple gi. She looked to be in her early twenties at most. She wore a headband covered in buttons and flashing light and was consulting a holo-display on her wristband nearly constantly.
"Now, where's the trouble? Oh, right...just a decorative element...looks like some sort of project by the sculpting club. If you'd tied up to the school proper it would have worked better." She gestured and the stone sort of flowed over the broken spot leaving no trace of the outcropping that had been there previously.
"Now, Mr..." she checked her display. "De'Foul. We need to find a more permanent solution for storing your craft. If you would be so kind as to inform me of what sort of arrangement would best suit your needs?"

"Please don't pull so hard!" Chara said, trying to hide her grimace as she felt the pain in her hand.
"Umm...maybe you should go to the cafeteria by yourself...I, uh...have somewhere I need to go."
She's actually trying not to let him know that she's hurt and keep him from getting into trouble for it since he didn't know about her brittle bone condition. DC 30 Sense Motive to figure out that she's injured.
Also, very sorry for missing your post last night. I just didn't see it. :(

"I have something that might, but I'll need to work on it. It was old when my father was a child, and he was and elf."

"No, don't feel bad! I need to go to the infirmary though. I'm...kinda fragile. I have this problem where my bones break really, really easy. It hurts, but I'm used to it."
She hung her head. "I'm sorry. It's my fault. I should have told you sooner. I just wanted to be treated like I'm normal."
Krays
:: <Sigh> Indeed I have. Good thing the Champion of Time is my mate:: He teases.
::I'll bring you back a few pans of the special, then. See you in a bit::
When Krays gets to the cafeteria, he smiles and waves to Vai, nodding to others at her table, as heads up to the counter, and orders about 10 pans of whtever the day's special is, and takes it to the new school building.
Tyrrin Denulia
Tyrrin couldn't help but snap this time. The boy was deliberately wasting her time. "Even if there are skeletons, the security system should take care of them. I'm busy, stop bothering me." With that, she turns back to the Headmaster's door and knocks sharply twice.
Phaezeriel
Phaezeriel spends the rest of the term meditating or messing about with expensive gems in the advanced lab when he was not in classes. Once Ephebe laid her eggs, and provided he was welcome, he would have spent a lot of time with them helping in any way he could.
A bit overwhelmed by all the new people, Phaezeriel has not been seen since the end of last term.
Krisilanni Rashira
Krisilanni frowned and folded his arms across his chest at the lack of a strong reaction; that should've gone a lot better. Seeing that nothing was to be done, he gave up his human form and went back to his true form, not caring how Tyrrin might react.
"Well, that was no fun," he said, snarling a bit; he really had hoped to get the undead-defender rustled in some way. He leaned himself against the wall next to the door, wanting in the office, as well. "You always got something stuck up your butt, or is it just me?"
