Raelle del Sol |

Raelle del Sol wrote:She squeezes his hand, glad of the moral support and stops the first staff member she can find.
"Excuse me. I'm here to see about a friend of mine. Morrivan Awange. She was brought in last night?"
Without much fanfare, Raelle and Ardiente are directed to Morrivan's room, with a gentle reminder that to leave her be if she needs rest.
Ardiente hesitated slightly at the door to her room, glancing at Raelle. "Should I wait out here? I honestly don't know her well, and I didn't really know your friends either." Ardiente says gently, squeezing Raelle's hand again. "But I'll come if you want me there, and if not I'll be out here waiting."
"You can come in. If Morrivan wants to talk just the two of us, then you can just step outside. But, like the nurse said, it's probably good for her to have more people around who care. And she's my best friend, so you're going to have to get to know her."
Morrivan was still sleeping, but Raelle knew that Morrivan would sleep until two or three in the afternoon if left to her own devices and that she always felt sick if that happened. Sad or not, it was time to wake her up. She sat down next to Morrivan's bed and said loudly, "Good Morning Sleepyhead. If you don't wake up now, I'm going to start singing. Fair warning."
Morrivan groaned and tried to roll over, so Raelle started singing..well, it was hard to tell what she was supposed to be singing. She really was hopelessly tone deaf. It sounded a bit like a goose being tortured to death. Morrivan sat up and hit Raelle with her pillow. Then she looked around. "Where?" she asked, confused.
"You're in the infirmary," Raelle said. "They brought you in last night I guess. I only found out this morning...some girl from my art class told me about...about Joneh and Rodhas and about you being brought here. I'm sorry. I'm sorry I wasn't here for you earlier. I should have been."

Ori Reading |

"Perhaps we then know whom to thank for his current... satiation." Tyrrin replied, and while her tone was still fairly dry, she wasn't trying to hide the smirk on her face, and another not-subtle glance at Salis. Clearly she thinks she's quite hilarious.
After a moment she becomes more serious, her acedemic side demanding the reins for a while. The smirk fades away. "So, I'm not quite sure what this 'Spirit World' is... some Plane or Demiplane? Does this mean that our hypothesis regarding it being a kami was correct?"
"I haven't had the best of luck with relationships in the past...I think I've finally broken that particular streak," she said, smiling at Salis.
"As for the Spirit World...I don't exactly know. That's what the kid called it, Lang I think his name was. I think it's sort of attached to this world...like a reflection or something...I don't know. I haven't had enough chance to study it. And yes, the being I am bound too is a kami. His name is Kryshyykilli'vkk."

Tybalt Baneko |

At Tybalt's touch he slams the utensil into his plate breaking it. He turns to Tybalt, upon his conscious mind realizing who touched him he holds off the.... Rather direct way he was going to remove him "what" is all he says before looking back at the bent silver where and broken plate.
He stays silent for a moment.
"I just wanted to try and make you feel better. It just makes me so sad to see you upset."He sits back and looks Dave in the eyes.
"I'm so sorry things didn't work out for you. I'm here for you, though. I want to help you get through this."
The compassion is obvious in both the meaningful way he connects Dave's gaze, as well as the warm, comforting feeling he picks up in Tyb's emotive aura.
1d20 + 16 + 3 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 16 + 3 + 10 = 47
Diplomacy for a pep talk? I normally don't like to put dice in this kind of thing, but I thought this would help. Disregard if you like.

Fei, of the Sun Soul |

Fei's reputation of occasionally being a terror to behold cows the rude student, and he picks up his lunch tray and stalks off to another part of the cafeteria. He does sneak an appreciative glance at Rena's backside though. Maybe he's just jealous that she didn't proposition him.
Rena on the other hand, seems not to take any offense and Fei's explanation, though at the mention that he's in a relationship, but that contact of any kind was pretty much impossible. She actually raises a hand to her mouth, obviously slightly shocked at that particular. "Oh, I'm sorry for putting you in an uncomfortable position then. You're just so... beautiful. But that's horrible! Not being able to touch, or be touched." Her emerald green eyes are shining slightly as she looks at Fei, empathy plain in every movement. "And that poor girl.. having you all to herself but not being able to... well. That's..." Apparently she has no filter, blurting exactly what she thought about that particular situation, though she fails to conjure a word to describe exactly what it was. "That's..."
"You did not know - therefore there is nothing to apologize for," Fei answers simply with a warm smile. "I just did not want you to get hurt accidentally. I have done that to people I care for before...I try very hard to not let that happen again."
"And I actually can have some contact with others...but I must be careful of that contact, and...calm...when I do so. I must choose serenity over passion, but it is better than nothing at all," he adds sagely.
"That's... really... um... romantic, actually." she finishes somewhat uncertainly, "Though I don't know how she can control herself around you. I know I wouldn't be able to."
"I...will take that as a compliment," the young monk does his best to answer graciously, a touch of color on his own cheeks at her unfiltered commentary. "Though I think that many of the students here are more entranced by your figure than they are mine," as he spares a glance around the Cafeteria (and glad that the rude student had relocated himself). (^-^)

Serrin Surya |

As Serrin gets off the skimmer, she summons a few shadow minions to carry her bags. She doesn't have a lot, just three bags, plus her backpack, but its enough to require help. She follows Sorchan inside, her 'friends' following behind her silently.

Tybalt Baneko |

"OK... just remember that I'm here for you if you want me..."
He says quietly as he pulls back into his ball position with his knees pulled up, arms around them and his tail wrapped around his ankles.
His aura now has a distinct bit of sad, with his lack of ability to help the glittering object of his affection.
I just wish I could help you somehow.... he thinks.
After a moment of being silent...
"So... what kind of stuff would you like at your birthday party?"
He offers, trying to take his mind off of it.

Vickory West |

Vickory listens to the talk and clearly agrees with breaking the language barrier first, then Jevan mentions being a Lycan, "You actually call yourselves lycans? Chirinide would rip the face off of anyone who would use such a vulgar term. This is a really backwards world."
Shaking off that interesting tidbit, "If I can find the right spell in the library, I can make a translation matrix. That will let understand the enemy. I can make one for each of us but that would take longer, or I could just make just one which would be faster. Iwas planning on making a new matrix anyway, so I can start with the translation function."

Aanandareavekki |

The group reached the door to Aananda's lab and Jeran knocked on the door.
She opened the door, looking a bit frazzled. "Okay, so I am really hoping you're here to explain why you got attacked by summoned monsters on school grounds, Tryko'Sam," she said without preamble.

Jeran Darkclaw |

"I don't know who Chirinide is, but there's no way I can know if he's even the same thing as me from that comment. Different doesn't mean backwards," he growled.
He stopped, when Professor Sunwake answered the door. She looked unusually cranky.

Kim Snow |

"Oh... I'm so sorry..."
She hugs the other girl.
"I'm going to the big school on the hill today for my first lesson with Mr.Vare. He said they take people to live there. Maybe if we ask, you could do that?"
Kim looks a little sadder now. but Kim returns the hug.
They only take people with special abilities, I can't do anything special. I'm just a...well now I'm just a homeless little girl.

Nurse Julie |

Nurse Julie backed up to give them space, but says nothing. perhaps this is what she needs.
she moves by the door to prevent anyone from entering.

Raelle del Sol |

"Morrivan, I'm sorry. But sweetie, not taking care of yourself isn't going to make any of it better," she said, sitting on the edge of Morrivan's bed and putting an arm around her. "You need to give yourself a break from the misery now and then. Rodhas wouldn't want you to do this to yourself."

David.De'Foul |

Dave's trying to keep a latch on his emotions and abilities, so that he doesn't literally explode, but is also in denial about his mental state being such, hense why he hasn't left the room yet he's kinda shut his mental abilities off Dave grunts at his first statement as he continues to chew on his fork, tybalt's question, however catches him off guard at it's non sequieter "I um don't know I haven't really had a birthday party in years"

Vickory West |

Vickory speaks quieter to not interfere with Tryko answering the question put to him, "Backwards just means opposite and thus is subjective, so yeah your world is backwards to me, but then my world would be backwards to you, so don't get all tangled over it alright. Besides Chirinide is a her."

Morrivan |

"Morrivan, I'm sorry. But sweetie, not taking care of yourself isn't going to make any of it better," she said, sitting on the edge of Morrivan's bed and putting an arm around her. "You need to give yourself a break from the misery now and then. Rodhas wouldn't want you to do this to yourself."
"Why should I care what he wants?! He just abandoned me here. If he cared about me why didn't he come back? Why would he leave me all alone like this?" she screamed, pushing Raelle away.

Salis of Bletherad |

Tyrrin Denulia wrote:

"Nor have I. I do know much about the spirit world where I come from. Here I regent to say everything is different. Even how they act is alien to me. It will take me sometime to learn enough about these spirits to know enough about them." He adds with a slightly depressed look. This look disappears once he looks toward Ori however.

Nurse Julie |

Nurse Julie takes a step toward the bed. but stops. she almost wants to help but she does not feel it her place to do so.
she simply whispers, you were not abandon. it is obvious that Julie's words were not meant to be heard.

"Well, it seems that we'll have to research it during our free time. Which I still have in abundance until I'm cleared to return to teaching. At least we have access to the biggest library ever created," she added, looking more cheerful at the thought of the endless books available to them.

Tybalt Baneko |

At what point does the little snake thing kick in?
Tybalt brightens just a small little bit at the semi success of changing his focus.
"Then this one should be extra special. Mel is gonna sing, and do music. And we can do a big table for gifts. There could be a dance floor. Do you want a particular theme? We could do an Autumn theme because it's right about that time maybe. Autumn's also the time right between hot and cold. So that makes it a bit symbolic. But still, your call. What do you think?"
He produces a sketch pad and gets ready to write.
"Also, can you digest metal, because you're eating your fork..."

Tryko'Sam |

The group reached the door to Aananda's lab and Jeran knocked on the door.
She opened the door, looking a bit frazzled. "Okay, so I am really hoping you're here to explain why you got attacked by summoned monsters on school grounds, Tryko'Sam," she said without preamble.
"Bad career choice?" He says, very sheepishly.
Then with a grin, and warm smile he adds, "I figure, it's cause I've kicked up some cultist's nest, saved a damsel in distress-- with the assistance of Jeran, Vickory and devilman Casseus, here. Now we're thinking it's time to put down the rabid dogs. So to speak... kinda."
There's a moment where his smile fades while saying the above, then it's suddenly back and he adds, "Or, it's 'cause I've not been baptized, and this is actually Hell-- so I'm paying the price for original sin or some s~$%."
That makes him grin.
"But in all seriousness, Ms. Security Head Chief-- it has nothing to do with looking at payback for the B&D situation earlier in the dungeon with you, while people looked on, honest." He's certainly not lying at this comment, even if spun in an attempt at humor (of sorts).

David.De'Foul |

snake thing?Dave blinks at Tybalt's statement about the fork he looks and indead there was just a stump of the cutlery remaining he somewhat amusedly remarks "well I suppose I'll find out soon enough" skeets buzzes frustratedly at this "awe lay off" skeets projects the mental equilivant of an exasperated sigh to which Dave gives a meloncholy snort around this time the shimmer of energy peatters off leaving David looking exhausted "is this a good idea man? I mean, in all honesty other than you, Mel and Dom, who all will even come?"

Tybalt Baneko |

"Well, we have other friends. Tryko'Sam probably would. I'm not sure if we should ask after all the crazy today, but still. Settro would. Asha and Pyry probably. Would you like if we maybe just did a room party? We could take the beds out of our room, make it a little bigger. I could decorate it all nice. It wouldn't have to be super big, if you don't want, but it would still be really fun. How about that?"
He takes Dave's hand and rubs it with his paws, give a plushy frost massae. The icy comfort helps to ease the dangerous draconic instinct, appealing to the same part of his mind with sense of the homely comfort of the frozen mountains.
He smiles, glad that Dave has calmed down some.

Kim Snow |

"I think they would understand. They're nice people. People think they're scary, but they are nice."
She takes her by the hand and begins to lead towards the school.
Kim stops keeping her new friend form going anywhere.
Wait she says.
Why are you helping me like this?

Melody Waverider |

Mel was watching the intersction with Fei, ready to act if fei had an unexpected energy buildup but everything seemd tocalm down and Mel makes her way back to the seat.
The "serious ready for action" look suddenly disappears and the happy go lucky Mel is back in an instant.
Sorry about that, so whatch ya talkin about?

Tybalt Baneko |

Forgot to respond to snake thing question. The security bracelet Dave got after the thing with the squirrel. It looks like a crystal snake and it injects calming stuff when he gets dangerous angry?
"Trying to decide stuff for Dave's party. How do you feel about a smaller room party instead? You can still do music, if you still want to."

David.De'Foul |

"Of those four, I have personally met two for any length longer than an hour or so, and sam's... Not all there... I suppose that does add three, great you can now no longer count the invites on one hand, well unless you had an extra finger"

Tybalt Baneko |

He gives a laugh at Dave's joke about an extra finger.
"I like small parties better anyways. They're more intimate. With big ones, it's so impersonal, and you have to go talk to everyone and you end up not knowing half the people. 'sides, this way I get more of you to myself."
He sticks his tongue out and pokes Dave in the bicep, trying to cheer him up.

Ardiente |

"Why should I care what he wants?! He just abandoned me here. If he cared about me why didn't he come back? Why would he leave me all alone like this?" she screamed, pushing Raelle away.
Ardiente sat down next to Morrivan on the bed, her last words ringing in his ears. He knew exactly what Morrivan was going through. He had thought the same thing about his own parents just a few days ago.
"He still cares about you, Morrivan." Ardiente says quietly, his face somber. He lets Morrivan interrupt and yell if she wants, but he holds fast. "I know he does. But... if he's found some peace in the afterlife... what right do we have to take that from him?" The harsh reminder of Ardiente's own pain beckoning forth tears from his eyes, and he looks up to Morrivan through glassy vision.
"You aren't alone. You have people that love you and care for you. One of them is sitting here in this room." he continues, motioning to Raelle.

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt stands up gets behind Dave(possibly needing to float a few inches), rubbing his shoulders.
"Hey now. What happened wasn't your fault. You're a really great guy. And of three quarters of people can't see that, then it's their loss. You don't need people that would fall away like that anyways. The people that matter are still right here with you. We love you for who you are, no matter what. That's what's important, don't you think?"
He gives him a soft hug from behind.

Aanandareavekki |

"Bad career choice?" He says, very sheepishly.
Then with a grin, and warm smile he adds, "I figure, it's cause I've kicked up some cultist's nest, saved a damsel in distress-- with the assistance of Jeran, Vickory and devilman Casseus, here. Now we're thinking it's time to put down the rabid dogs. So to speak... kinda."

"Yes, you're hilarious," she said sarcastically. "I'd be laughing if I hadn't spent the last half hour vomiting. It tends to dampen my sense of humor."
"Cultists, huh? Alright, come on in. I'm going to need more details than that," she said, inviting the group into the lab.

This appeared to be too much for Morrivan who started crying. Not soft gentle crying either. Ugly crying, with loud sobs, and the occasional attempt to talk that was impossible to actually decipher. Raelle held her while she cried. She shot a grateful look towards Ardiente. She was pretty sure that this was exactly what Morrivan needed.

catching up from being busy, seems Arthur was in limbo for a bit Arthur just sorta stands there at the crying, not sure what to do, he had already eaten , so he had said he would be with her for emotional support, but here he was, presented with a problem that didn't have any real solution, and he hated problems like that,

Tybalt Baneko |

I knew that. The main part was the liberal application of cold energy to relieve tension.
He sighs.
"What can I do to help you?... It makes me so sad to see you like this." He is almost on the verge of tears himself.
He turns the spinning chair around so that Dave is facing him.
"What can I do to bring that big, goofy smile back again?"
He hugs Dave, pushing his face into Dave's shoulder trying to hide the tears, a place that is quickly becoming his favorite place in the universe.

"Ace" |

Ace gladly accepts the hand up "Yea, I know, I see that now. I was kinda distracted however, so I didn't really give this my all. I have to try and fix things between my girl and I. Thankfully, I have some ideas. I appreciate the workout. Oh, and I gotta try to avoid Professor Royston. I don't think our next meeting, should it happen, will go so well." And with that Ace heads to his first class, Botany.

Tamina |

Tami and Dom arrive at the cafeteria with just a few minutes left before the start of class. Just time enough to grab a quick breakfast if they don't want to be late.

Ardiente |

"That's right," she said, hugging Morrivan again. "I'm sorry I wasn't here last night, but I'm here now. And I'm not going away. No matter how many times you yell at me or push me away. I'll just yell back. You know I will."

Raelle held her while she cried. She shot a grateful look towards Ardiente. She was pretty sure that this was exactly what Morrivan needed.
Ardiente hastily wiped away the tears, smiling uncertainly back at Raelle. He wondered what had happened to cause a break between Sadie and Morrivan... they had seemed so happy that night they danced together on the night of the dance.
He says nothing, though is nearby and will also offer comfort to Morrivan, moving opposite of Raelle to sandwich the girl in warmth and comfort.

Tryko'Sam |

"Yes, you're hilarious," she said sarcastically. "I'd be laughing if I hadn't spent the last half hour vomiting. It tends to dampen my sense of humor."
"Cultists, huh? Alright, come on in. I'm going to need more details than that," she said, inviting the group into the lab.
Grinning brightly, he gives Jeran a pat on the back, while heading into the lab. "Thanks, I'll be here all week. Hope the puking wasn't some kind of precog to my presence, 'cause that'd be awesome and s~%%ty at the same time."
Looking around, he finds a place furthest from any 'scanners' or scientific 'coffins' which seem to always be in scientist's labs, folding his arms on his chest.
"Hope you're feeling better soon? You look great, if that helps."
If and when anyone else joins inside, he'll give Aananda the basic run down, though, as before, no specifics about his powers, just jumps and such, leading up to getting here. He's quite the charismatic speaker. Less jokes this time, he goes through the events clearly, but quicker without too much humor.
At one point though, he peels off his tattered, ripped and torn robes, revealing a black t-shirt, mostly intact, with the "Parental Advisory" logo on the chest, in white. He might be standing intentionally showing it off with his hands at his hips, but he certainly doesn't seem to be smirking or lording over it.
"So, Darkclaw here says you're down with excursions to clean out these ...rabid dogs, as devil man with gun there puts it? Oh, and in case, this is Vickory. She's from ... Off world, came back with us on the Vai trip. Saved a village just a few nights ago... Or week. I forget."
He clearly is mistaken, though seems sure, of the event Vickory helped with, just last night.

Casseus Rex |

Doesn't seem to be paying attention, looking around at all of the gadgets...when Tryko mentions his name he looks back at him then gives an awkward half-wave to Aananda.

David.De'Foul |

dave glares at Tybalt the aura of energy returning with a visible heat haze "for starters you can get out of my face" he growls out, Shoving Tybalt off of him.

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt's light weight is easily pushed off.
He falls back a few feet and lands on his side.
He sits up somewhat and looks at Dave with a shattered expression of shock and slight fear.
He remains there, too shocked, scared and confused to move.

Melody Waverider |

Mel was sitting there a seat or 2 apart from Dave and Tybs. at first she was engrossed in her work performing the calculations and working the algorithms for Tyb's neural lace.
she wanted the two to come to an understanding with each other. but she sensed things were escalating.
when Dave becomes a little more physical. she turns to Dave.
scooting over, placing a hand on his shoulder,
Dave, she begins with a soothing voice. Please, I understand this is very upsetting, bearing witness to what happened, and everything. but understand, Tybs, and I, we are here to help you through everything. I can help you get back to the Dave you were, probably the Dave, you want to be.
She tries to get him to look at her. Tybs, may have moved a little too fast, not giving you time to come to terms with everything. but you may be surprised, there are many that do care about you. I can help you regain some of what you lost, but you have to be willing to let go of the past. put aside the anger when it begins to affect those close to you.
looking Dave in the eyes Dave, to you want to be friends?
in her head Mel is worried how this will affect her friendship with others, but right now, she needs to bring peace, stop the anger. she can mend her other friendships later. right now, this boy needed friends more than anyone else she knew.

Tryko'Sam |

"You have no time sense at all. It was yesterday. I've only been awake after the expulsion for about 18 hours or so. I take this means when you say 'if I don't return in a few days' you actually mean hours."
Smirking at the start of Vickory's declaration, Tryko'Sam waits for her to finish, replying, "With all due respect, pointy eared, black haired, snake girl, who is nearly naked, no. I've been busy. I meant the natural rotations of this planet, versus the time I experienced, which aren't the same. Rest assured, the universe isn't fixed to your perceptions and experiences as fact, though I get your point. Buuut, I'd be touched if you did come to my rescue in hours, versus days. You never know when someone pins me down. Just make sure, if you would, you don't barge in should some gorgeous red headed princess is rewarding me for dispatching a dragon, or something, know what I mean?"
Grinning like the Cheshire Cat, he waits on Vickory's reactions. The others, if perceptive, would realize he's studying them all, staying alert.
