After a short moment of silence, he asks, "so what's it like seeing with two sets of eyes? I mean, I guess you know the difference, because you have the human change ability thing."

Female Zif Wizard 6/Mage of the third eye 10

"Oh... That's... Hard to explain. The best way to put it is having a second peripheral vision for my lower eyestalks. My focus is on my upper eyestalks, which also have thier own peripheral vision. My lower eyestalks are best suited for seeing motion, so i can always see things in front of me. They work well enough that i can move foreword with no problems, even if i'm not exactly looking forward."
he upper two eyes keep looking at you the whole time.

This is also true... but let me ask a question." The professor says turning to genosuke "from where did magic first come"

He smiles.

"you have a name, I all ready know another big boobs ill get you mixed up if you don't have a name, or I could call you Cabbage, you like Cabbage as a name?"

"Well, I didn't mind the compliment, but my name is Rena. What's yours little one?" she asks as the pixie creature pearches on her shoulder.

Asha Soleil wrote:

Asha smiled. "Thank you. I'm so glad you were able to find something Rena. Yes, let's hurry and see if we can find someone to help...I hate feeling so helpless like this. It's too familiar," she added with a grimace.

A reminder that the arrows only operate inside the building. Once they're in the gardens they don't know who they're looking for.

"Maybe you could learn to be a Wizard Asha? I'm sure Vare could instruct you... well. Probably. He's never taught someone from the start, and he learned by himself. We'll ask him later, alright?" Rena offers seriously, before taking Asha's hand (the hair clenched firmly in the other hand), with the fey creature on her shoulder, and the group heads out into the hallway, whereupon Rena conjures forth the arrows, asking them to direct her to someone who can help with locating Tryko'Sam.

The arrows direct the group through the school, and then out into the gardens. Unfortunately... that's where the arrow jurisdiction ends. Standing just outside the exit into the gardens (and still under the shelter of the school for now, protected from the rain), the group doesn't immediately see anyone nearby, just the myriad plants and tangle of growth that forms the gardens. There are walking paths of course, but nobody is immediately apparent.

"The person it was leading us to must be outside..." Rena says a little uncertainly, glancing at Asha. "Do you want me to go look? It doesn't look like it's raining as hard as it was earlier, but still."

Ephebe wrote:
"Theoretically? Yes. Same way he did the last one, by opening a portal to a black hole within the atmosphere. Realistically? I can think of at least three people that could stop him here. Still, it would come at a potentially high price and I'd rather not go there if we don't have to. Tryko'Sam as he was this morning was no danger to this world. He cared about people too much. So the key appears to be restoring his mind to its normal state."

Tam, Ryo and Ryleh? Just guessing. XD

"Given that I did not detect any magical auras remaining on Tryko'Sam, it's possible that whoever did this used a permanent but non-continuous magical effect to change him, or placed triggers in his mind to activate spells. We cannot simply dispel the enchantments, lest another trigger activate. My specialty is not enchantment though, so it should be noted that I am speculating." Vare says, his hand placed firmly now on his clean shaven chin. "Either way, as you said he is an immediate threat. Will the school's security measures be able to stop him? I did not see him make any casting motions or intone any words to bring his Gates to bear, so even if we immobilize him, he may simply retreat again. And if his mind is his own again... he may return to seek help from us, and the panic if he is immobilized." Clearly, despite his appearance and seeming absent-mindedness, this man has a sharp, tactical mind once he is focused. One must be so, to survive the rigors of the Planes for long.

She couldn't get the horrible image of everyone she had known here being stuffed into a giant bag and dragged away. Midori listens intently to the story Lang was telling, and only really seems momentarily confused at the use of the word 'Chi', but after a moment she seems to be able to resolve the dissonance there.

Little linguisitic problem: Chi vs. Ki. ;D

Sorry about the verbage, I mix that up alot, but I am sure Lang would have used the correct word from the begining.

Midori Tsuyomi wrote:

Afterwards she looks out at the rain, thinking about the story deeply. "Lang-kun... does the lightning really burn away bad Ki?" she asks incredulously, looking up at the slowly-fading stormclouds still with fear in her eyes.

I believe it in my heart, it helps me feel safer during storms, it also helps me deal with the sadness I have sometimes. I told you that story to help you with the the lightning, I shared a little bit of me like you shared a little bit of you. Lang smiles, funny really, what I said earlier, I promised to take care of the lightning for you, maybe this is the start of that promise

Midori Tsuyomi wrote:

"How old were you when you were asked to be an Airbender, Lang-kun? Do you think you can help me train to control my Ki?" Midori asks, still thinking about the story and all that it meant, sitting next to Lang on the cold ground, not wishing to move away in the slightest, but hoping that... that he didn't start talking about her eyes again.

I became an airbender when I was a little younger than Sara is now, 5, maybe 6 years old, right after... he stops there like he didn't want to reveal something.

anyway, you want me to help train you in controlling your Ki?

he stands straight and takes a step back. then he gives Midori a formal bow, It would be my honor to help train you Master Shinobi

Lang seems a bit unsure about the title he gave her, not versed in her culture he hopes he did not insult her.

he also seems anxious to get the formalities over with as they seem to make him uncomfortable.

Do you tire when applying it, is there a limit to how many people can be included in this? I'm surprised the entire school isn't included in this fashion-- it would facilitate so many possibilities. Plus, it doesn't require the actual moving of the mouth, so very efficient if hunting and the need for silence is required or desired. Amazing. I am most likely speaking, or as it were, thinking quite more then I should, but this is very exciting. I am excited.::

Phaezeriel's thoughts are somewhat bemused, ::No it does not cost me any effort as long as there are fewer than eighteen total people. I can also heal through the collective in ways that usually require touch from as far away as we can talk, and a few other augmenting things.::

As soon as he mentions healing, everyone in the collective is aware of a well of healing potential that has been there since they joined the collective upon which they can try to draw, though there seems to be a sort of, well, almost a valve, or something to regulate the flow. The realization dawns that the sense of this 'valve' is in the same 'place' as their sense of Phaezeriel's mind.

With a standard action, any member of the collective can request healing that Phaezeriel can grant for no action on his part and on other people's turns.
