Renkais history...

A traumatic childhood, killing someone by the age of 8

A bleak rooftop bleached white by moonlight, gazing down into a woman's room...

A dungeon, cold and moist...

His master... laughter and smiles on the surface, sharpened steel inside

His mask... purest white, but black, red, blue, green, Gold....

That mask... stained with blood, washed clean. But still stained below the paint.

So much pain and confusion, death and laughter...

Then you see yourself, and as if in a quiet glade the pain of the mind of your boyfriend ends....

"Does that help?"

Mel just goes to kai and hugs him.

I'm so sory Kai all you have been through...I only hope I can help you change, help you end that pain.

It all depends on what you're comfortable with, My Lady. Your happiness is paramount to my own."

"Is it a problem if I am flirting? It is somewhat of a new experience for me - not many men have ever captured my attention, and only you for so long and with such passion." she returns, grinning as she delivers the compliment. She does seem to enjoy bantering, for all her primness. "Well, I do know of some people back home who do not even dismiss their servant during the deed - after all, who's to bring them water when they are finished? And I'm told it can be exciting. Elves are generally more open than humans from what I understand. But." she stops and turns serious for a moment, at Ghalen's last assertion. "Ghalen, I have told you before - my happiness ought not to be paramount to your own. We are equal here, are we not?"

He blushes blue through the white part of his face after looking Dom up and down. The blush is the only tell that he noticed Dom's lack of clothing. And even then, it's very hard to notice through his fur. The door covered most of him, but enough was visible to guess what was on the other side....

Dom Smirks slightly. "The whip cream is a little late, but I the band practice sounds like a good plan. I was going to set a couple up during the week but the more the better." Dom glances back to Tami to see if she's clothed. Once he sees she is covered he looks back to the Tybalt and Dave. "Come on in." He tells them as he turns away from the door.

The door hangs slightly ajar only enough for the two to see in slightly. Dom saunters over to Tami with a smile being the only coverage on his body. There he kisses her before kneeling down to open a drawer to retrieve a pair of cut off cargo pants. Slowly he slipped them on.

If they have a moment she informs Vai of Vare's offer. "Do you have a plan, Vai? When do you intend to leave? Perhaps a quicker solution would be to simply scout ahead and return with the parents, or abscond them?"

Skidding to a halt, the somewhat breathless Vai waits a moment while she cathces her breath before speaking. "My Grandma is scrying the town now - she's a powerful Seer. Hopefully we can just go and get them out and there won't be any danger. Come on. I still need to talk to Phaezeriel. We can decide on a plan once we have more information." Unless Anahita objects fiercely, Vai will begin to move once again towards the infirmary, seeking out her quasit friend...

There does not appear to be any objection by Anahita, who easily keeps up with some mighty strides, following along with Vai.

Male Humanoid

Clearly, Vare's Greater Scrying occurs without being resisted and what it reveals is fairly straight forward... But then again, Dreamscape and all.

It is clearly a wooden interior, the structure, with various 'people' with their unique appearances scattered through out the interior. One person standing in the center of the Scrying is clearly Tryko'Sam as Vare recalls (if his memory retained such), but there are on viewing and hearing the next part, apparently something else going on.

"... my money's worth?! I'm not some f&!&ing child to dupe like this, a*$+$!&! What's worse is you thought you could lie or trick me!? I want my money back AND an apology!"

Vare can roll Sense Motive DC25 after this round of interaction to spot the enchantment. If you succeed you'll see two tiny red "imps" clinging to Tryko'Sam's neck and ears, whispering to him, not that you'll hear them, I.e. Proof of enchantment, Rena's claim. Otherwise, he looks /very/ angry unlike anything Vare (again if he recalls) saw before.

The portly, nearly barrel shaped man that is the subject of the wrath stammers out a response, "I told you before, lad, I did nothing of the sorts- get you gone before I call for the guard!" this portly, sloshed looking fellow has what appears to be a dark brownish looking 'club' in hand which he points menacingly at Tryko'Sam.

Various other people, random sorts, though not very many considering the mid-day on a "Sunday", in a bar time it is, are doing their best to demonstrate how important it is not to interfere, since some one else will do that, no doubt, or they might get hurt. Typical commoner responses to scary, angry, charismatic youth yelling at their drink provider.

At which point, via the Scrying, it appears Tryko'Sam is going to react... It's just not clear immediately, what he'll be doing. Not bothering with an initiative check just yet. But, Vare does see Tryko'Sam did /not/ like the response, whether the enchantment is spotted or not.

Note, time is passing there, so if you take time at the school, things will update accordingly. Thankfully, your Scrying doesn't require concentration and talking takes practically no time... :starts a stopwatch regardless: I'll guess at rounds passing, if any, but, just know things aren't going to pause while War and Peace is recited, should that occur. :grins:

Vare casts, after the girls (or Rena at least) touch Vare, for his teleport.

Between the moment of Scrying start, and arrival, Tryko'Sam has rushed the tavern keeper madly, seeking to grapple or pummel him in his rage filled state.

Needless to say, it's fairly impressive to behold, Tryko'Sam does /not/ dodge the mace swung, and there's the resounding crack of bone beneath flesh of his shoulder crumpling from the blow, seeming to pause only a mere moment before swinging his other, still useable fist to connect with the tavern keeper's in a fairly decent and trained unarmed combatant's manner.

The tavern keeper clearly gets the worse of the deal, but steps back slightly stunned and reeling, mace partially in hand, as Tryko'Sam goes for another punch.

At this point, Rena leaps into the fray, a blur of feathers and motion, moving in close... Unless she actually grapples Tryko'Sam or uses something other than words, he's ignoring the world in that all too familiar enchantment state of rage, focusing on the tavern keeper.

Sadly, the generous and giving young looking human is having nothing to do with anything other than /kill/ the tavern keeper at this point.

It may be noted too, that while he's in a blind rage at this point, he's clearly getting 'smart' about it, or fighting it, but not easily. He won't be blindsided too simply- or worse, if mere fists won't do, the spark of intelligent wrath is building in his eyes.

Semi AFK for the rest of the evening, Fireclaw/Lynora, will check back though when able. Your turn to act. Rolls or not, your call.

Phaezeriel smiles reassuringly, ::I should be able to discover how the memories are kept fresh without needing to touch you, though I may need to see them first hand. You will want to ensure that you are as comfortable as you can be. We can begine when you are ready.::

Based on timing, this is probably the point where Vai interrupts.

Attempt number three to get Asha's post in...:/

Asha grabbed on when Vare said he was going to teleport so she could go too, worried about what Tryko'Sam might do. Even if going into town could end up being a dangerous mistake for her if her family found her there.

She watched in horror as Tryko'Sam was doing a fairly reasonable impression of her cousin Embre in his dealings with the shopkeeper and then Rena was trying to grab his arm and reason with him. If he was being enchanted to act like Embre that wouldn't be good enough.

"Get out of here!" she yelled at the shopkeeper, trying to push him out of the way, and generally doing her best to put herself between him and Tryko'Sam. After all, she could be more easily healed than this person, and could probably take more punishment. But she was still trembling in fear.

Sadie sighed. "Yeah, well apparently I'm not so great at this whole relationship thing either. I kind of forgot about her last night...and her cousin who she's been friends with since they were babies died and didn't come back. And after she had cried herself out...I kind of left for while....she's right. I've been an inconsiderate jerk. I'm not usually this bad....."

"Let me just grab my gear. Do you have a sword or should we swing by the light blades classroom?"

"Light blades. I don't carry a sword with me anymore."

Lyere's human form

As he moves to the simrooms, Lyere hits his forehead "Idiot without your tattoo's and powers what you have in mind is suicidal...I could always check on Carl and see about that poker game" he turns around, his hand on a wall as the arrows lead him to wherever the old dwarf might be docked.

Dom chuckles slightly. "Sorry next time I'll let you know that I'm going to grab some pants." He shrugs still smiling. "So what were you planning with the whip cream anyhow? I know what I use it for, but I don't think that is your plan." He asks slightly teasing Tybs.

"Whatever. Grow some fur and I wouldn't care. You're just all pink and stuff. That's the weird part."
He sticks a pencil through his hair that he doesn't have a hand to hold.
"Wasn't really planning anything with it per say. I usually just eat it but I'm not opposed to hosing random people as they walk by. I kinda just had it when we left earlier. It's far from the point of why we're here."
He tosses the can to Dom.
"It's from the kitchen and I don't think it has a bottom. Go nuts."
He keeps looking up at Dom and back at the page he works on.
"I have an idea where we use a kind of dark stage, but use electric lights in the costumes. If we do that we can focus on a light and sound instead of putting on flashy stuff during the show. If we could, uh, not do, y'know, like.... fire...."

Tami laughed when Tybs tossed Dom the whipped cream can.

"Well that reminds me of a particular diplomatic mission...it was certainly sticky negotiations," she said with a wink.

"Electric lights sounds like a good idea. Do you guys have any idea what you're going to do for a drummer yet?"

"Not anymore...."
He stops working for a moment and stares at the floor for a bit before shaking himself out of it and goes back to sketching.

"Sorry, Tybs. I didn't mean to pour salt in the wound," she said apologetically.

"It's OK. You didn't mean to... but, anyways, a decent board can run a met. A good keyboard is an ok ubstitute for a lot of things. I don't know where I could get one of those, though. I only saw the grand when I was there for the party."
He shows a sketch of Dom in a long, black, open trench coat type thing with an open vest underneath. There is a stripe of electric blue that runs up the side and branches off into another line in a thick, but very simple pattern.
There are three other pages showing similar patterns for different outfits. One has yellow light strips and wings. One has a tail and blue-green light strips and one has light purple lights and is human looking.
"What do you think? I could do the same with white instead, but it pops better with black."
Think Tron. Very Tron. Not the same skin tight stuff, but that kind of thing in real clothing instead of jumpsuits.

Kai? What about us...as a couple? How do you feel about me, about us?

Mel's thoughts seem full of sadness and confusion. She seems conflicted inside and does not know what she wants. But she does not want to stop careing about kai.
