Based on timing, this is probably the point where Vai interrupts.

Arriving with the wing flapping and gliding form of Vai, it would be obvious to the perceptive that Anahita took the journey as a 'race' or opportunity to actually push herself once Vai 'popped' wings to improve her speed.

With a complexion full of blood circulation combined with a light sheen of effort, the Arabian Princess looking Champion of Life stands in the infirmary with a warm, genuine smile of joy on her face looking first at Nala, then curiously at Phaezeriel. Her expressive face switches from light thrill to intrigue, as quick as a Summer storm might.

With a polite nod in greeting, she takes a few silent moments to let Vai initiate the civilized greeting here.

Her breath quickly returning to a normal, un-accelerated rate within moments. A faint smile adorns her lovely features.

Feeling this post was flat out ignored, Lurch and Lynora. Intentional, or too much going on? Please advise.

okay... catching up with grim and company

When grim took the sudden position, Lang recognized there was trouble, he had seen grim behave in a similar fashion before.

Lang stands beside grim ready to defend his friends as needed. grim knows the power Lang could unleash.

Lang has only briefly met this person before at that time it was believed he was harming Midori. Lang decided to allow him a chance to explain his presence now.

Lang looks to grim letting him know he is here if needed.

Watching the quick back and forth between Vai and her comrades, it was clear that her presence did not warrant recognition, which all things considered, seemed appropriate given Vai's urgency.

Glancing off as her attention went else where, she glanced around the, effectively re-steriziled, infirmary curiously. Much of it wasn't the same, though, it held the same feel of purpose to her.

Stepping away from the trio, she canted her head slightly to the side with eyes closed and features relaxing. It was merely a few moments following that, that while snapping open her eyes, she vanished from the infirmary...

... reappearing in the Cafeteria, some what close to the food line. Hand on stomach, she headed forward to fetch some food quickly, while peering around at who was present.

It didn't take long to pick up some fruit and bread, one in each hand, alternating with bites as she looked around at the assembled.

He nods at the comments, his face an impartial mask, suppressing any expression of what he was feeling, just thought displayed.

"I'm alright now. Pretty sure I have it under control. Too much going on in the noggin for me right now. Apologies if I spooked you, Asha. Thank you though. And thanks, by the way, Rena, subduing me isn't easy, appreciate your diving right in earlier." He certainly was stronger than a normal human, quite easily, plus the unorthodox fighting style, suggested /some/ sort of training, but the enraged state clearly didn't let that get shown.

"That's alright Tryko'Sam." Rena says, and now that he seems to be a bit more calm and receptive to their attentiveness, she closes the disatnce and puts both hands on his arms where she had held him, stroking gently in what she hoped was a soothing manner. "I'm just glad you don't bruise easily."

For the practical matters beyond soothing and comforting her possibly traumatized friend, she leaves to Vare.

Tryko'Sam wrote:

There is a tensing up as Vare 'dodges' the unseen, but not seeing a threat, Tryko'Sam lets it slide. After a quick survey of the immediate area, he looks back at those here and asks, "Is there any way to help me erect some kind of psychic screen against magical effects? I vaguely recall some training against mental tampering, but it don't trust my memories at all right now. Looks like I'm at ground zero, again. Hitting you up every morning doesn't sound too effective, plus it's wasting your energy, right?

He stood there while flanked, seemingly calm and thoughtful now.

"Yes, I would have to dedicate one of my more powerful spells every day - and it might be a wasted effort, if you were simply selected at random. Our enchanter would simply select another target" Vare returns just as thoughtfully. "There are several psychics at the school though... I believe Anahita mentioned someone by the name of Phaezeriel as one. We should seek him out. Do you have the drink that sparked this? It may still be magicked, and it might at least give us a clue."

Vare's thoughts are obviously directed wholly on this, and his eyes dart around Tryko'Sam's form, examining him in his own unsettling way.

"How could they get worse than living out on your own? The school looks after it's own, so your family cannot hurt you here Pyry, whatever they may have threatened in the past. Maybe we can think up a pseudonym though, if you want to hide your identity?" Tyrrin continues to inch closer and closer to Pyry, not wanting to startle him or spook him in the slightest. It was so cold.
