That said, she waits to see what he has to say.
Subconsciously, the young man bares his claws in rage "SHE'S MATED WITH EHOS??!!?? THE ELVEN PRINCE?!!" He shouts, literally shaking with anger. Sadly, his sudden outburst scares off the bird, but he takes no notice.

"If you want to come with me, it'll be a lot easier talking inside. It'll be chaos out here pretty much for the rest of the day," Dennis said to Wyrd.
Presuming Wyrd agrees to follow he leads the way into the large warehouse past several security checkpoints to where they stored the mechs.
"So this is what we're building here," he said waving towards the enormous robots.
Reminder that in game terms the mechs are size gargantuan.

sorry Chief, I was just getting excited to learn, that's all, detention or not, flying this ship does sound exciting.

::good enough for me carl I'm landing now:: as he does so he hears melody and he laughs so hard that he stumbles a bit on his landing and falls over, catching himself with his hands

"Good morning, Lang. Please, sit down, make yourself at home. Wise idea bringing your own food. I'm not sure I could reliably manage food for humans. Sorchan has already gone to go help with the evacuations. And Ignace is still in the process of waking up," she said, piling burnt pancakes onto a plate for Chara.

Anahita bint Tariq |

Subconsciously, the young man bares his claws in rage "SHE'S MATED WITH EHOS??!!?? THE ELVEN PRINCE?!!" He shouts, literally shaking with anger. Sadly, his sudden outburst scares off the bird, but he takes no notice.
A bolt of lightning strikes the ground several feet behind him, then another, and another. Each strike blasts a decent sized hole in the ground, spraying rocks and dirt everywhere.
Anahita looks on as the 'rage' seems to flare from this man standing before her.
"Well, that is my impression-- though, that might not be my business nor yours. Everyone is free to make any choice they wish in life. Do you not agree? Or what is your role in this matter? Why do you react in this fashion?"
She watched the display with slight indifference, not really flinching, but she did seem to lose whatever calm and smile she had before.

Nala Zamarosok |

Today Nala had her familiar, an arctic fox named Vasya, with her. She wanted to be able to deliver spells if needed, but her fear of touch was as strong as ever.
She walked into the room where Keme was being kept, the little fox trotting alongside her.
"Good morning, Fei, Vai. I am here to see if we can bring Keme back. I don't suppose either of you know if he would prefer resurrection or reincarnation?"

Lang Fei |

"Good morning, Lang. Please, sit down, make yourself at home. Wise idea bringing your own food. I'm not sure I could reliably manage food for humans. Sorchan has already gone to go help with the evacuations. And Ignace is still in the process of waking up," she said, piling burnt pancakes onto a plate for Chara.
Lang bows again and takes a seat, winking at Chara to not tell about the treat he gave her. i think that is considered "junk food" to firebirds
Thank you Master Del Sol, I am sure you are a wonderful cook. anyway, last night I delivered a message to Master Sorchan. It was for your entire family. If you did not have a chance to read it that is fine. But if you did I am prepared to answer any questions.
Lang pulls out a bran muffin..oops looks like I grabbed Sun's bag by mistake. oh well. he usually has pretty good taste anyway.
Lang sets the muffin on the table waiting to eat until it is alright to do so, looking to respect any customs they may have.
Lang also occasionally looks about for Ignace waiting for her to show up.
Does Ignace know I am here?

Renkai Urmas |

Another blot of lighting strikes the ground behind him "LYCANS AND ELVES DO. NOT. MATE. PERIOD. A WOLF WOULD SOONER MATE WITH A SHEEP!" One more bolt hits.
Get ahold of yourself...Sheesh...you're really annoying"

Anahita bint Tariq |

Another blot of lighting strikes the ground behind him "LYCANS AND ELVES DO. NOT. MATE. PERIOD. A WOLF WOULD SOONER MATE WITH A SHEEP!" One more bolt hits.
"You will understand that your word is not the law of the universe, and has very little baring on me whatsoever, of course? Or is there something specific about your emotional outburst that warrants this display of temperment? What has you so troubled? Love is a strong force, it defines even the natural order at times. Besides-- it is not as if they have violated any sacred, natural, law, correct? Merely the law of ...dare I guess, your society and culture?"
She has stood up at this point, her expression turning a bit more sour at the outbursts. If anything, she might even seem to be getting a hint angry at one thing or another.

Silinrul |

Ignores the voice coming from where exactly?. "WE ARE AT WAR. WE KILL THEM, THEY TRY TO KILL US, END OF STORY." Yet a 6th bolt of lightning strikes. "In fact, on my way here, I slew several small scouting bands. In this, it is a violation of scared law, yes."

Silinrul |

As the young lady disappears, Silinrul shakes his head, then silently walks into the school, and pauses thinking "Hmm, I believe she said I could place my hand on the wall, and think of Jai to find her. Wonder if that will help me find Ehos as well" He attempts to do just that, and lo and behold, the arrows appear, guiding him to the bedroom of the Elven prince.
He bangs, loudly, on the door, with his staff.

Carl "Ironfist" Promethium |

"Yes Less hes here an outside with his robot, Tinman, Arthur it's an open line for use three ships, Jiminy on your say The Hammershaft is ready."
An air lock opens close to Arthur and Tinman.

Really? You're just going to ruin my surprise? I spent months keeping my identity secret, not even adding anything to my profile until I made my first post, so I could spring it on Jaiye and Ehos, and you totally just killed it all. NO!!! NO!! NO!!! NO!!! NO!!! NO!!!! Please, delete that post, asap!

Anahita bint Tariq |

Okay, I removed it per your request. But, that means OOCly I have to have some other reason Anahita would /not/ go warn her friend, Jaiye. If, for any reason Anahita gets 'shit' for my OOCly removing this action, I'll just point to your request here and say, "He asked me too." Fair? The things I do sometimes for other people's fun.
Ooo, just got an idea why too! Oh, Lynora!

I have several problems with this, but as it doesn't have anything to do with any of my characters I'm going to let it go, I just think it sets a bad precedent

Reminder that in game terms the mechs are size gargantuan.
At the moment Wyrd is the size of a large human.
Wyrd nods and follows the minotaur. Upon seeing the mechs, he nods again, "How will these save us from this Empire, and what do you want me to do?"

Artha Sidd |

As the sun peaks over the horizon, anyone lucky enough to be gazing east would gaze upon a cloud dragon, rapidly descending upon the grounds of Avalon. The immense and beautiful drake lands all but silently, eliciting only a gentle breeze. A gnome, sitting atop a crystal seat, levitates out of the silver saddle, and flies slowly to the ground.
The gnome stands 4 feet tall and is wearing an elegant azure vest, with tails, and worn canvas pants. His legs, from below the knee, and feet are wrapped in tough bandages as are his arms, beneath the elbow. His shoulder length blue hair is locked in a top knot, secured by a thick silver ring, and a wild beard adorns his chin. On his back, is a human longsword which appears too large for the small gnome.
He searches the grounds, and to the first person he finds he states calmly and with a soothing voice,

Ardiente |

Nodding at Ardiente, Tryko'Sam says, "Grab something and I'll go hang at a table. Fair? We can yap more."
With that, Tryko'Sam heads over to a table pretty much anywhere, not bothered by social conventions, apparently, and sits smiling charmingly at whomever is visible.
Ardiente returns with food that... worringly, smells distinctly of gasoline to Tryko'Sam's nose - presuming of course he remembers such a scent. In his glass is what appears to be some kind of vinagrette oil dressing.
"Energy food." he explains as he sets the plate down and sits down himself, immediately beginning to dig in.
"So, does what I suggested sound alright to you? I mean, do the self-defense classes, and see who is interested in forming a group? Primary objective would be defense of the school if something like this happens again?"

Midori Tsuyomi |

The cat rubs against her leg and hand, momentarily pushing her off balance you will recover {or not} at your discretion while purring and mewing cutely
"Oh I see. He's a pretty big cat and has a few extra legs doesn't he?" Hew walks over to the two and kneels down. Slowly he out stretches his hand to the cat for it decide if he's safe.
Kizmetz's forceful rubbing momentarily pushes Midori from her squatting posture, knocking her over backwards, though the little ninja is agile enough that she's able to shoulder roll and not take even a slight hurt. "Big, and strong too." Midori says, after having recovered from the 'fall'.
She watches to see the cat's reaction to Hew's outstretched hand...

Tryko'Sam |

"Yeah-- that sounds good, but, I wasn't thinking like ... martial arts, kung fu stuff. Are we talking the same degree of defensive classes? Mixed in, wait, are you a teacher?"
Tryko'Sam didn't seem to wince or anything at the gasoline, but he chuckled. "Some strange shit here, man... strange. That's tasty?"

Pity too...I've been visualizing how awkwardly hilarious it would be for Fei to encounter Rena. (^-^)
Hahaha. I figured it would be fun! :D
Welp, work is work. Besides, once you're there for a while, he won't mind as much. I remember working help-desk... I swear half the time everyone in the office was on one forum or another.

"Nala... do you know what happened to that boy over there?" she motioned to Treisdan, bruised as he was on the bed over yonder. "He looks in rough shape."

Grim Jr. |

Grim sits up in his bed and blearily rubs his eyes, gets up and removes his armor that he didn't bother to remove the previous night. he gets in the shower and sets it to the hottest setting it will go and just stands under the the water.
eventually he gets out and gets dressed for the day in his jacket and pants.

Repp, the Bleached |

"Oh. Thank you."
He stands up tall on his back legs and looks at the food.
He takes an apple and a steak from a dish of steak and eggs.
For a dragon he doesn't eat much. He must be used to it.
As they sit down he asks, "so why are you my size and not big like the other people?"
"You should eat more if you're to grow up to be big and strong, Lewis." Repp adds. "The school has plenty of food, after all. Especially with full grown dragons to feed. That must cost them a pretty penny."
"I am a gnome. We are a smaller race than the big people, though we make our way through life... it is actually more of an advantage than the larger people realize. Annoying when you are stepped on though." Repp adds with a grimace.

Vare, the Summoner |

Vare eventually awakens from his Dream - a lucid one at that, with strange beings - he gets up and stretches, tending to his morning routine - shaving, cleansing himself and studying his spellbook. Once that is done, he once again conjures the Unseen Servent and the school's arrows to guide him to Aananda. There were still things to discuss with her which had slipped his mind the previous night.

Ardiente |

Tryko'Sam didn't seem to wince or anything at the gasoline, but he chuckled. "Some strange s%$* here, man... strange. That's tasty?"
"I'm no teacher, but I am a martial artist - quite a practiced one. I was being trained as a bodyguard after all. At least some basics will help people feel safer and more confident, I think. What did you have in mind? This self-defense club was something I had thought of before, and can be independent." Ardiente shrugged, tucking into his food.
"Very delicious. Hearty too. Full of energy for us.. I believe bread is the same principle for humans? Full of energy?" Ardiente does seem to quite enjoy it. Must not be poisonous or carcinogenic for him, or at least, hopefully not given the rate at which it is being consumed.

"They're small enough to be piloted by one person provided they have enough chi too withstand the interface for long periods of time. They're maneuverable and can function in space and in atmosphere just as easily. And they're each outfitted with state of the art weapons designed by Professor Sunwake. So with these we can pack as big of a punch as a warship. It might not be enough to save us from the Empire, but it beats sitting around doing nothing. I'd rather at least try to fight back."
"As for what we need you to do...these two are prototypes. We need to build more of these. But at the same time we can't really afford to take resources away from the shuttle assemblies. Your unique skills would help us to make more ships without taking as many resources from other areas."

Jaiye |

Ignorant to the pounding at the door, Ehos shifts slightly in the bed, unconsciously gripping Jaiye a little tighter with the one arm around her. Luckily, they've planned better this morning, so no tail-accidents occur.
Jaiye was finally sound asleep after a night of dealing with Ehos's nightmares. And she was having a strange dream. She was dreaming that she was back home. It felt so real. She could almost smell it.

Aanandareavekki |

Once that is done, he once again conjures the Unseen Servent and the school's arrows to guide him to Aananda. There were still things to discuss with her which had slipped his mind the previous night.
Aananda was in the cafeteria, working her way through a mountain of pancakes.

Silinrul |

Not sure why nobody responded, despite the arrows leading him to this room, Silinrul pounds louder on the door. He is getting a bit worked up, angry, frustrated and annoyed, and thus is beginning to work up a decent sweat.
Yea, that's about all I could come with for Jaiye to smell me better

"Ace" |

Ace wakes up kinda late for him, around 7 hours past midnite. He was truly worn out from the night before. He looks at Ginni's peaceful, sleeping form "Gods, she is beautiful, even as she sleeps." He thinks.
Squeaky rouses himself from sleep as well, and the two play on floor, with a ball Ace produced from his belt.

Phaezeriel |

Aananda was in the cafeteria, working her way through a mountain of pancakes.
Phaezeriel is also in the cafeteria, staring blankly at nothing. No food is in front of him on the table. He seems deep in thought, shaking his head minutely every now and then as if an internal argument is spilling out.

Wyrd considers the massive machines for a time, then turns back to Dennis and nods once, "Yes, I think I can help you. I do not have much skill with highly technical things, but I learn quickly. I am also one of the few beings that I know who can Bend metal. I can also do forge and foundry work with no fire, and I can retrieve ores perhaps easier than others can. I am also very large and very strong. I will help as best I can."

Fei bows respectfully to his fellow healer.
"Good morning, Nala. Unfortunately, Keme did not...have time to specify. I would think resurrection would be most appropriate, but we should ask Genosuke when he arrives to be sure."

Vare, the Summoner |

Aananda was in the cafeteria, working her way through a mountain of pancakes.
Vare makes his way cautiously into the cafeteria. It was busy this morning, both in the Dream and out, and the young wizard seems particularily flinchy, especially wary of having another tray of food dumped on him. He spots Aananda's distinctive form from across the cafeteria, and gently picks his way over to her.
"Good morning. I hope I am not interrupting you Ms. Aananda, but there is something I wished to discuss with you that had slipped my mind last night. Do you have a moment?" Even as he's standing there, Vare seems to duck and flinch quite often, though always without cause to Aananda.

"He's the one who lost control the night before the semester started up... I wonder if he's doing better." Vai murmurs to herself, looking still at Treisdan before turning back to Keme. "Hope has chosen a new champion, and we have no clue who..." Vai trails off, thoughtful.
