Nala said she would send a message, and she'll be doing the rez by the sounds... You can probably just assume the message was sent and show up if you like. :)

"I know what you mean about being stepped on. Being small is hard."

"Should I? We never had a whole lot to eat. I guess this is just what I'm used to. I'll get some more I guess." He takes a bagel and another apple and looks at Repp for approval.

Repp nods and smiles easily for Lewis, indicating his approval. "The food is a gift from the school - offered freely. While there is no need to be gluttonous, you shouldn't ignore such an opportunity to strengthen yourself. You should never allow yourself to go hungry while at the school."

As the pair return to their tables, Repp's curiosity at the little creature seems unabated, studying it with obvious interest. "So, you speak of a 'we'. Who are the others? More of your kind?"

Right on...
Genosuke arrives shortly after recieving the summons from Nala.
"Good morning to you all, thank you for honoring my request."
He sees Vasya, and beings to 'speak fox' to her, which was mostly short barks and body language.

Spoiler:
"Well, who have we here? Hello, young one! Aren't we a beautiful fox..."
He speaks to her like an old grandfather would their 5 year old granddaughter...

back to the others he says...
"So, who is to do this service?"

The other group in the maze is decidedly more stoic - no surprise, given their demeanors. Focused and on task, the group consisting of Tyrrin, Ghalen, and Jeran make their way through the Maze towards their assigned exit. There's little discussion between them, though Jeran may still a little like a third wheel, given that Tyrrin and Ghalen tend to stay close to one another. No overt affection now though - there was a job to do.

Male Human Gestalt Inquisitor/Dragon Knight 16

While they are searching, Ghalen breaks the silence with a query to Jeran...
"Jeran, in general, how would your people react to discovering a Lycan had chosen an elf as it's mate?"

Knowledge (Nature) on Jabberwocks (yes I realize it's typically Arcana for Dragons, but a Jabberwock is primal Fey creature, so Nature makes more sense): 1d20 + 35 ⇒ (15) + 35 = 50

Repp's curiosity only increases at what Lewis had just said, leaning towards the dragon slightly. "Oh? Your kobold? I was aware the school condoned owning other sentient benigs as property. And you say you were... 'made' to protect her. That could mean two things... either you were created to protect her, or forced to. Quite a distinction. If it is the former, who created you?"

The immense and beautiful drake lands all but silently, eliciting only a gentle breeze. A gnome, sitting atop a crystal seat, levitates out of the silver saddle, and flies slowly to the ground.

The gnome stands 4 feet tall and is wearing an elegant azure vest, with tails, and worn canvas pants. His legs, from below the knee, and feet are wrapped in tough bandages as are his arms, beneath the elbow. His shoulder length blue hair is locked in a top knot, secured by a thick silver ring, and a wild beard adorns his chin. On his back, is a human longsword which appears too large for the small gnome.

He searches the grounds, and to the first person he finds he states calmly and with a soothing voice, ** spoiler omitted **

Glancing over at the gnome that walked over and did his introduction, Tryko'Sam pauses in his response to Ardiente and lifts a hand in greeting to Artha.

"Hey there. Uhh hmm. You need to find his office, which if you walk over to that hallway- just over ther? Touch the walls and think of the Headmaster. Then follow the arrows that'll point the way. Welcome to the school... Nice beard."

He smiled and waited a moment to see if there was a response before speaking with Ardiente again further.

Thank you Master Del Sol, I am sure you are a wonderful cook. anyway, last night I delivered a message to Master Sorchan. It was for your entire family. If you did not have a chance to read it that is fine. But if you did I am prepared to answer any questions.

Lang pulls out a bran muffin..oops looks like I grabbed Sun's bag by mistake. oh well. he usually has pretty good taste anyway.

Lang sets the muffin on the table waiting to eat until it is alright to do so, looking to respect any customs they may have.

Lang also occasionally looks about for Ignace waiting for her to show up.

Does Ignace know I am here?

"Yes, he showed me. I'm afraid I won't be able to attend. Chara can't go. It's too big of a risk. So I would stay home with her anyways. But I also have class to teach on Monday. But Sorchan will try to be there. depending on how things are going. It's a bit chaotic just now obviously."

"Very delicious. Hearty too. Full of energy for us.. I believe bread is the same principle for humans? Full of energy?" Ardiente does seem to quite enjoy it. Must not be poisonous or carcinogenic for him, or at least, hopefully not given the rate at which it is being consumed.

Nodding at Ardiente, Tryko'Sam says when taking a moment to help the gnome, "Sounds like an idea. Given how aggressive folks are, and super powered, apparently, don't know how useful the course might be, but I'm the newbie here. I was thinking more responding to bigger threats.. Planetary, or to the school and city. Know what I mean?"

That said he shoots the gnome a quick glance.

Ya I'd say that too. He's only kind of a dragon.
List of things.
1) They are a kind of fey creature that bear a strong resemblance to a dragon. Kind of like a darker version of a faerie dragon.
2) The are capable spouting off sounds and words so kind boggilingly confusing that they can cause people to lose sanity momentarily or even focus it to make sound so harsh it injure things. They can also shoot fire from their eyes, but variations on this aren't unheard of.
3) They have a fear of very sharp swords as one of the easiest ways to kill one is to cut off its head.
4) for some reason the word "galumphing" comes to mind.
5) When they fly, their wings kick up so much wind that it's hard to stand next to them.
6)They are known to be excessively evil and cruel. They exist to kill and destroy, although that doesn't seem to be the case with this one.
7)They're part of something called "The Tane."
8) Most importantly, you have never ever heard of a young jabberwock. Ever. They simply don't exist. At least, you didn't think they did.

"She is mine because I keep her safe and no one else can take her. I'm hers too. The voice that talks to her made me and told me that I would find a blue kobold and that I'm supposed to take care of her and keep her safe. That she was very important and I was put here to be her guardian. I was with her but she thinks I need to do more on my own so she left and I think if I find her she'll just leave again."

The sounds of Ace and Squeaky playing woke Ginni. She sat up, her hair all mussed up, and wiped the sleep from her eyes.

"Puppy's feeling better?" she asked sleepily. "You found the grass patch in the bathroom for him to do his business? I'm not gonna step in puppy puddles if I get up am I?"

Vare makes his way cautiously into the cafeteria. It was busy this morning, both in the Dream and out, and the young wizard seems particularily flinchy, especially wary of having another tray of food dumped on him. He spots Aananda's distinctive form from across the cafeteria, and gently picks his way over to her.

"Good morning. I hope I am not interrupting you Ms. Aananda, but there is something I wished to discuss with you that had slipped my mind last night. Do you have a moment?" Even as he's standing there, Vare seems to duck and flinch quite often, though always without cause to Aananda.

Frankly, Tyrrin found Jeran's notion that elves had to be protected or defended rather insulting, and had turned away from this discussion, instead focusing on playing the role of scout as Ghalen and Jeran discussed lycan culture.
