Sara looks over at the cat-lion-angel-scary(auraed) man in the corner.
"Are you OK? When kitties tails thunk on the ground it means they're upset. Are you upset?"
"No. I am not upset..." he says...upset. A student not paying attention gets a little too close, and gets a low growl, like a great cat would give.
"I think you're upset. Do you want a cookie? They have some on the line."
She moves a little closer. (Tell me when the aura kicks in.) Your animal instincts tell you that this is a very good person to be near.

There's an odd sort of silence, akin to the calm before a storm, as Anahita unmoving as of yet asks, "Is it by her hand that this land has been ravaged? Is she the cause?"
Mithros would not see that Anahita is peering at the lifepod, attempting to discern what it is, from where she is standing, which is on the edge of it's immediate impact, so some six feet from him.
Motioning with her left hand, however, where upon the golden and silver chain is wrapped about fingers and wrist, Anahita utters a few words casting the Arcane Spell 'Knock' upon the door to the lifepod.
"This may open it-- it may not." She then peers around, still a mixture of emotions on her expressive features at the destruction. Then a moment later she says, "All these defenseless things here ... gone." Clearly she's pained by the lifepod's crater and destruction.
riviarti just barely fights off the urge to wear the mask. Mostly, because she knew it wouldn't fit. She slips it back on renkai, and slides off with her anthro lion.

"Lady, she's been stuck in a stasis pod, for who knows how long, like in a forced sleep. This is a lifepod; they are ejected from starships when the structural integrity of the ship is compromised, you know, like 'abandon ship?' I'd say she's pretty blameless here, but until we ask her what happened we won't know."
He softens a bit at her obvious trouble with the destruction here. "Those lives are gone, but this one can be saved..."
"What's wrong? And you don't know what a cookie is? I'll get you one."
She walks away from you and to the line to get a cookie, thanking the staff person politely. Comfort food was called for in all this mess, after all.
She gets back to him and stays at the distance she was when she left.
"Can I give it to you? I got a plain one cause chocolate makes some aminals sick. Does chocolate make you sick?"
"I am not an animal" says curtly, but curious about this 'cookie' thing she has...it smells sweet.
"I am cursed...people fear me, through no fault of my own. If I get too stressed, a..." she was too easy to talk to, this one.
"...but that doesn't matter, I know you mean me no harm, little one. I cower for your protection, not mine."
"I am Al'rqyq mn Al'kwabys."
"You have animal pieces and do animal things." She tries to explain why it wasn't an insult.
"I like animals almost more than people anyways."
"You don't look scary."
The brave little girl moves close enough to hand him the cookie and then backs away again out of the aura, as much for his comfort as hers.
"I'm Sara." She smiles happily at her new friend.
"I do? Well, yes I suppose to you it would appear that way..." He stands up, and is pushing 7' in height. "My people call themselves Maftet. Legends say were are related to the great Sphinxes." he takes the offered cookie, and bites it. "Sweet cakes! This tastes like a dry sweet cake. Thank you, Sara." He sits down, more relaxed, and takes another bite. "You are...human?"
Dom starts his song once again filling the make shift infirmary with healing energy . He hops down from the table he had been singing on top of and makes his way toward the kid who seemed to be injured every time he saw him. "Rena, set him down. I'll get to healing him right away."
Once Rena lays Bradley down. He pull some water from his water bottle and held his hand over the wounds of Bradley. The water slowly soaked in to the wound leaving mended flesh in it's wake.
"I think you're pretty." She says with a smile as he stands to show all his man-bird-lion-ness.
"My book has sphinxessess in it. I'm still learning the letters though so I don't know what it says."
She takes a bite of her own cookie.
"They are a little dry. People are busy, though. It's nice that they made them."
"I guess I'm human. I don't know what else I'd be."

"I was gifted with good coloring..." he seems to remember a better time...then sadness comes back to his eyes.
"Sphinx are wise creatures. Some can be treacherous, but then again, so can any other creature. What's a book?"

"You aren't walking still, Hew-kun. You're on the floor with Zilla-chan and me." Midori said after she had taken a few moments to regain her composition. "Everyone is alright too. Lang-kun wasn't here, and I've seen Grim-kun and Zamarosok-sensei says that Ignace-chan is alright too." she continues with a wide smile, before hugging her two friends close again - always wary not to poke them with her horn.
Hew weakly laughed. "Good they are all safe to. When I woke up I was worried about everyone." Hew returned the second loving the attention Midori was giving him.
Zilla was just about to return to her feet when Midori pulled her back for another hug. "What about Chara and Sara? I guess the creepy bear to." She asks while being hugged.
As quick as she could, Rena was at Bradley's side, scooping him up - bloodying her already thin clothing. Her wings are spread wide as she sails through the air to the makeshift infirmary station, easily cradling Bradley's form in her arms.
"What did you do Bradley? Was this your ability again?" she asks worriedly, her hair draping all around him, comforting him with it's gentleness.
"Couldn't let them die," he wheezed, in very bad shape once again, blood oozing from myriad cuts, many of them still with glass imbedded in them. He must be in an excruciating amount of pain.
She goes on to explain the intricacies of the book with all its pages and letters, as well as talking about sphinxessess and where they were from and what they were like, the pretty music the boy with the water was making, how he came to school, the care and feeding of certain animals, ships, ceiling wax, cabbages and kings, for a long while they talk. She seems willing to just sit and talk with the new person for as long as he'd like. This helps keep her mind off all the bad things that were happening and his mind off the impending sense that he could never be anything but a scary monster. She takes to calling him Alley because of his long name being a bit much for the six-seven year old.
Eventually, back at the infirmary being rebuilt, Tryko'Sam showed up walking up to the doors and peering around.
"Wow... doesn't seem good here. Who needed some assistance?" He walks in and looks around to see the situation and find someone of authority if they stood out.
"Some girl sent me over here... said mechanics and such were needed?"
He'll wait, though scrutinizing the what all was going on.
"Agreed, let's go, and quickly." he says, and will escort her out of the cafeteria before they break off in seperate directions. Ardiente's route takes him right near the being-rebuilt infirmary, and onwards towards his room.
Raelle quickly dashed over to the kitchen. "Morrivan, I'm going to be helping Ardiente with a project off-campus for a bit. It's a firebird thing...see you," she said without waiting for a response before dashing off to her room, grabbing another grey sweater just like the one she gave to Jaiye...in fact she seems to have a whole selection of the things. Then she grabbed her book bag, filling it up with smokesticks, CharBars (firebird energy bars), and a couple bottles of olive oil in case they got hungry or thirsty. And then headed for the teleportation room, not even sure if it was working again.
Mel wakes in the bed her wound healed she glance over to see Kai in his state. A tear starts to form Its all my fault she whispers. unable to face what she caused Mel retreats the only way she knows how. to deal with the pain the only way she knows how.
She leaves the area and returns to her work in the infirmary. entering silently and solemnly knowing she screwed up. she looks at Jimminy but quickly avoids eye contact. the real punishment is yet to come.
Mel didn't want to deal with anything else. she closes her mind to all telepathy. and just returns to her work to the best of her ability.
Had she looked she would have seen Jiminy's cold glare at her, an unusually cold expression on his usually friendly face. But luckily for her, he was still talking on the radio and didn't have time to yell at her. Yet.
"that would be everyone here, if you are any good with a plasma torch you could try your hand at that, or you could help with some of the wiring, or well look around there is a lot to be done, especially if we are to prevent this from happening in the future"

To Ana Ephebe appears physically as she did before, outwardly looking like a much younger girl than she is, her almond shaped violet eyes dominating her heart-shaped face. But now she also has a golden glow surrounding her, almost like swirling sand...very much putting her in mind of Time. And she seems to have more life to her than was usual for any one person.
"Is there anything I can do to help or do you two have things as well in hand as I think you do?"
Hew weakly laughed. "Good they are all safe to. When I woke up I was worried about everyone." Hew returned the second loving the attention Midori was giving him.

The angel-girl's top is soaked through with Bradley's blood - which of course makes the material cling to every inch of her. It would be super sexy (and probably see-through), except that it's... blood. Not always the most arousing thing.
"Who couldn't you let die, Bradley?" she says, and once again his head is cradled in her lap, though she's quite a bit more bloodied now than she was before - even her blue-white hair has some blood in it.

Ehos turns back to Jaiye - who had caught up with him at the infirmary where Anthony was laid out, and being healed by those present with the ability. Relief defines Ehos' features at that moment, and he tucks Jaiye into his arms, hugging her close.
After a moment or several, Ehos' telepathic voice comes into Jaiye's mind, harsher than usual. ::That b+#@! is going to pay.::

"The kids," he murmured. "There were three young children...from the elementary school I think. They were in the garden. I'm not sure why. But they would have been hit by the schrapnel and it would have killed them."

"I am uncertain of what is going on-- this is technologically based. I would prefer to tend to the land." Anahita peers around again considering the destruction of the landscape and all the fallen trees.
Then, pausing, she peers back at Ephebe and asks, "Can you rewind what happened here, and prevent this destruction? If I can aid you in this, you have but to ask. This loss of life is ...abhorrent. I ... will fix this, if not."
Another glance to the lifepod and Mithros over the door she had used her magics on, waiting.
"Hmm...the name doesn't ring a bell...the place name or the person's name. Guess we'll just have to go and hope for the best."
