No, it doesn't. In pathfinder, epic dr is nearly impossible to overcome. Get over it.

Pretty sure those rules exist so people don't just get +1 then stock up on a whole bunch of other enchantments. Gives you a reason to get the higher bonuses.

About the warlock dr and the exception to cold and the immunity to cold. Is it not possible for me to just have DR 5-? Its not like its that big. Most people can do way more than that at once.
Who wants to take bets that the new Mythic rulebook due out in Aug, will have +6 or better weapons?
The version of the playtest rules I got didn't have magic items MG... but I'm pretty sure there were some abilities that granted overcoming Epic DR.
Of course, Mythic is practically a completely seperate game type from normal pathfinder. It's hard to compare the two.

I think the best way to retcon this would be to have Sara (and Vriskra, perhaps) have left to get Ephebe as soon as Zilla collapsed, so they escaped the metal-ness.
(Also, technically, everyone should get a will save to avoid their items turning to metal. But where's the fun in that? ;D)

Only thing you could turn to metal on vriskra is her slime... And I don't think that should happen, as it was very recently created by a living body, so it is fileled with cells... That, and it would suffocate her if it did work that way.
Yeah, I reckon the slime is like other bodily fluids that aren't affected (like spit, sweat, etc).
So what's the final consensus on the retcon?
Unless there's a disagreement, what Lyn said works: Sara left to get Ephebe before the metalness started (though, barely).

Okay, well, apparently all this stress was getting to me. I got home from class, picking up kidlet who only made it through half a day at school before he realized he wasn't as much better as he'd optimistically thought this morning, and running some errands ....and got online to check on the game. Next thing I know it's two hours later as I wake up from an unscheduled nap. Catching up now. :)

Awww, I'm sorry. D: Didn't mean to cause distress. Canon in D also stirs happy/sad feelings in me too, and it is one of my favourite classical pieces.
The fact that it is a wedding song is the reason I chose it. Seemed a bit fitting for the moment with Vai and Fei. ;D

I went to an awards ceremony at my school yesterday after touring Lee university (a smallish christian university) not expecting to get many awards, maybe some verbal recognition of my high ACT score, I've only been going to this school for two years, but I ended up getting two seals on my diploma (or rather was told it was going to be on it, I don't graduate for another week or so) and was told that I was going to be getting a minimum of 16 thousand dollars in scholarship money, that's freaking awesome
(1k from TVA (Tennessee valley authority, they give us power and clean the air and stuff) cause I go to the school I go to and my dad works for them. 3k+ from the hope/Tennessee lottery scholarship, given to me because I have a 21+ACT score (mine is 32) and/or a GPA of 3.0 or higher 3k is the minimum that that scholarship gives, I'm not sure how much I specifically got but still woo, and 12k from Lee university for my high ACT score,)
I got more scholarship money than any other individual person, the whole graduating class got a total of 328k I got 1/20th of the whole class's money
I am very happy right about now
another interesting thing is that the school I am planning on going to has a few required classes that are sufficient in number to make it so that everybody has the same minor, so my degree when I graduate from the university (as it is planned now) will be a degree in computer science with a minor in bible studies and a minor in psychology
