Mithcal would be 'Grey Light' (though I think Calmith actually looks and sounds better). I think you could use ga- interchangeably with cal to mean the same thing (so you could also get Mithgal or Galmith).
Cenedril Hathol comes up for 'Mirror Blade'. Maybe shorten it to Cened'hath or something like that....

Fun fact: The latin for Lightbringer is "Lucifer".
And he's got a flaming sword you say? Hm. ;D

Iron Man 3 was awesome! :)
It was much darker than 2. Decided that the kidlet will have to wait to see it on the small screen since there's too much of a chance that it will give him nightmares. Saw it in 3D which was well worth it thought far from necessary. In this case it was the difference between getting a seat or not. The non-3D shows were sold out. The 3D theater was less than half full. Normally that works the other way around...

Good to hear!
Got my fingers crossed for seeing it tomorrow morning with my sweety. :)

Musings on Fei's energy problems:
Well, since part of what caused Fei to lose control of the kinetic stuff in the first place was a head injury, it makes sense to me that a neural lace could help compensate for that...unless you're trying to avoid a neural lace? I'm a little fuzzy on what you actually want here Dalesman.
I have a couple concerns about the pocket dimension idea. One is how big can the pocket dimension be? Fei's abilities have grown a lot since the beginning and we don't want it overflowing. Also there needs to be some way to regularly drain power out of the pocket dimension. We don't want him blowing up the planet because of too much stored energy and nowhere for it to go either.

Yrrin Lightbringer wrote:Either works. Let me know if you have a preference.Don't much care for 3d.... But I bet that show was cool....
Also Lyn, slight question.... Is Yrrin showing up tomorrow or the next day in game?

Musings on Fei's energy problems: ** spoiler omitted **
Musing Addendum :)
Regarding the pocket dimension verbage - maybe instead of saying that it 'stores' the energy in discreet pocket dimensions we should go with something like...Fei's excess energy now gets sent via some kind of 'sub-space' transmission to the backup generators. A side benefit could be that Fei would be able to go farther from the school safely due to the greater transmission range. Or something like that (^_^)

Lynora, Spugs:
Since Johnny was kind enough to give a list of options for the continued existence of the Energizer Monk™, I thought it would be easier to put them here so we can hash out the details for a sensible improvement to Fei's current energy management issues without going overboard. ;)

Here's my humble 2 coppers on the subject so far:

Coming in late on this, but reads a lot like Havoc of the older X-Men days.
You can fix this with out tech, if desired. Or with fairly simple tech, I.e. without cyber/neural lace.
Let me know if interested, could make for a good story line too!

Too weak to attempt to fight a Pit fiend.... And can't kill one easily if it tried... And would attempt to bring it's defeater to Avalon

I would think many of the elementary kids would fit the bill. Midori being only one of many.
of course Grim, Lang, and Sorun would kind of act as guardians for them.
I didn't mention Hew or Zilla as i am really unsure of thier capabilities game mechanics wise, I just know there are cool characters.

Pretty sure anyone could fit the bill, or better yet, just make up some NPC to fit the bill?
Well, except maybe our adorable twink chars, you guys know who you are.
Sounds like you just want a spectator for your intro?

It's once per year.
And I was wanting an actual pc there... There will already be a handful of npcs there

I suspect that they would not use Wish except under extreme circumstances in this setting. Too volatile.
"Not strong enough to take on a pit fiend" is all my students. Vare would probably be able to take it though.
Yeah....I suppose Pitt fiend is kinda scary for most people....
the combat will last only a few rounds... (and kill a couple people) before going back to hell
| Tybalt Baneko |
Does it have to be an entire freaking Pit Fiend? Maybe a student tries a summon that goes wrong. We get something not quite that bad? What exactly do you want it for?

Meteor swarm on you-
On 4 successful saves against a 9th level spell at a -4...
8d6 bludgeoning + (24d6/2) fire
| FireclawDrake |
Kuros?
Jimmy will fix it, no problem.
Sarcasm aside, just ignore stats and go for the content you want to share. Sometimes dealing with stats all the time gets too old, sometimes.
Jiminy is actually pretty weak in combat apart from his "reality bending". And bending a pit fiend out of existence would be hyper draining.
I remember Lyn saying he was weaker than Vai in combat for sure, and she isn't all that great herself.

It's not supposed to be PC combat... And it's a summon that goes right. Then they lose control...

Even if you can win, it will be insanely hard, and will have so many casualties, it's ridiculous. The accompanying pc would die by blasphemy if 8hd or lower, or meteor swarm., if not.
If every save is made against meteor swarm, and average damage is rolled, the person at the center of the target would take 48 bludgeoning, and 72 fire damage. You talk like this won't kill who is with you.

I'm trying not to argue... The accompanying player d doesn't have to be there from the start and I'm not killing it... Just driving it off...

It was mostly a joke,
Though other than the thing with Ornerio you do fit the criteria and with your shifting you would probably survive, though I doubt you would actually fight it as opposed to running awayHowever the part about grim was serious

Apparently everyone here thinks I'm weak then.
vs a pit feind? Sorry dude but yeah, spell casting, fire, cr 20 they are the head honchos of hell (or the Abyss I forget which)
