If you need something to occupy you before we close the day out, Vare is just fine. Let's not get too involved though, as we are trying to finish the day out. ;)

The elementary school is desperately short of chaperones, so Sara's grandma would easily be hired on for that and Sara could have a room in the same block as her. (It's fine for her to be an NPC for that)

Elementary school rooms are not the same as high school rooms. They occur in blocks. Four to six students and one chaperone/helper/whatever you want to call them. The rooms open on to a small common area with a study area for homework and a kitchenette in case of a need for say warm milk in the middle of the night to deal with a nightmare. Since there is a shortage of chaperones it is possible that some of the older children might be in a block without one.

Edit: There are also playrooms on the same floors as the rooms which are open until about eight in the evening.

Spug and I agreed that I took control of Sara and he got her yet unnamed grandmother. So that'll be up to him.

Mostly. Some leniency is given to keep siblings near each other when necessary.

Ignace and Chara both stay with their parents since they have living quarters in the school. With Ignace having emotional issues and Chara having physical issues their parents want to keep a close eye on them.

Midori might end up rooming with Kiara.

I actually thought your fire part was mostly due to being a firebird and earthbending was more what you normally bend.

either way I am guessing the combo of the two would really just make you a lava bender.

Yup. And there's a very specific reason for Ardiente being able to bend two, which goes beyond mere lineage. As Lyn said, not all firebirds are benders. They just tend towards fire (and smoke) based powers.

I did manage it one time for Sara. I wanted a nice happy moment. Didn't want to ruin it by pelting a small child with hail. I always thought that I could maybe do snow if I concentrated. Except all the flakes would be the same. And maybe look like cat faces.

naa don't need a momo. and Roku is like way smarter than Sun is. Sun (truth be told) likes to think he's this great source of wisdom, but he is really just a friend and a bit of comic relief.
