Re: art fair, yes. Traffic and tourists pretty much shut down the whole town. It's a nightmare for locals.
The mongolian barbecue is bd's Mongolian barbecue. Real clever name. :)
Indian could have been shalimar, Mahek, or that one tiny place whose name I always forget.
Good Italian would be Palio, gratzi, or paesanos. The other place in kerrytown is very nit good. Argieros s the name I think.
Hehe, I see, that’s no good.
Oh that’s right, the mongolian barbeque was called a mongolian barbeque, lol. That place was good, kinda pricey though if I remember right, ouch, my wallet.
Still don’t remember the Indian places name but I think the Italian place might have been Paesanos, does it have that “Old Italy” vibe to it when you come inside?

Very much so. It's the one on wastenaw. The other two are downtown. If it was the one with the creepy sculpture of the old chef dude in the entrance, that's Palio.

Ah, ok yeah, there was no creepy statue so that was prolly it.

Oh, one question real quick before we close out this topic and move back to game talk: I’ll prolly end up visiting Ann Arbor again at some point in the future, as a native Arborite are there any restaurants or stores you personally recommend as worth visiting? (I love good food of every type and for stores I like clothing, gaming, specialty shops, and anything else unique or fun.)

Well, the only gaming store is Get Your Game On over on State Street. Otherwise it's over to Fun4All in Ypsi. There is a good comic store downtown though. Vault of Midnight. The clothing stores I'm familiar with are for girls clothes so that won't help you. :)
For food, I highly recommend Mark's Carts, a collection of food carts on Washington Street. Unless you're visiting in the winter. They're not open then. Blue Nile. It's my favorite. I do love Ethiopian food. Fritas Batitos, which is cuban inspired burgers. Really good. And Zingerman's of course. The deli is down in Kerrytown and there's the Roadhouse on the west side. The roadhouse is very pricy but unbelievably good. I've always been partial to Pizza House, over by East Quad (on church street), but that's partially nostalgia since I've been going there since it actually was run out of a tiny little house. :)

Still not really able to post, but do you want to play out the fencing lesson or go on with the week Lyn, and sum it up?

I think with it being difficult for you to post right now, we can just sum up. That seems to be the easiest thing.

Awesome, thanks. Oh and it’s funny but I have actually eaten at a few of those places before, so I can agree that they are good. Pizza House particularly was a fun experience, good pizza and shakes(not bad cheese cake too if I recall correctly.) Had order out from there several times. I think my favorite was when my friends wanted me to get the “Godfather Burger.”(I think that is what it is called) a giant burger covered in toppings and…wait for it... fried eggs. I think they were trying to kill me but you know what? It was good!
Haven’t been to Blue Nile but that sounds right up my alley, I’ll have to keep that in the forefront of my mind when I get another chance to go to Michigan.

Because of her powers. They're very superstitious and attack anyone who uses magic or psionic powers they cannot understand. Wizards are tolerated(barely) at a distance because they have to study for their magic. Clerics are tolerated because their magic is given to them by the gods. But spontaneous power users like Sadie and Dara are either driven out or killed. In this case the parents were also attacked both because they were protecting Dara and because with two power-using children people assumed they also had powers but had just been hiding them.

Heh. Fried eggs on burgers are pretty popular around these parts. Have you been to Blimpy Burger (over by South Quad) before? Not my thing since I like my arteries unclogged, but if grease is your thing then most people really like their burgers. :)
Hehe, no but since I enjoy being alive I might not seek that particular restaurant out=P.
Oh so my friend has gotten me some work now that I leave tomorrow for and I will prolly be gone 5-8 days, so I have to drop out a bit. Sorry, I know I just joined but when work calls I must go. =(

The dragons aren't rolling right? Also, Vai should definitely be in the desert, what with blue dragons being desert dragons.
Either way:
Tyrrin: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Ehos: 1d4 ⇒ 4
Looks like Ehos and Anthony are together :D
Nevermind, read the post...
Vai: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Mountain:
Jaiye, Jeran, Sadie, Dino, Borin, Ursula, Morrigan
Yeesh, cause having emotionally unstable Sadie on the same team as Ursula...this isn't going to go well.
Desert:
Fieri, Bonnie, Keme, Zren and Rikken, Jorge, Gill, Nadya, Jax
Good for Fi and bad for Gill. And they got Nadya and Jax so they may end up being the most organized team. Or the most annoyed.
Island:
Ephebe, Dennis, Spike, Kitty, Nala, Rintol, Albin, Chet
Well, Ephebe and Vai are on the same team. Kitty is kind of a natural for this. And Dennis gets to have his sidekick with him. :)
Forest:
Jiminy, Pan, Bradley
Well, the dryad ended up in the forest...how appropriate.

Hey guys, we had a very large tree branch come down in our back yard last night that ripped all the lines out of our power pole. As such, while we got power back within a few hours, we still have no internets since we have to wait 'til the tree guys can clear everything away so the cable company can get us back up and running. On top of this, I leave for a major trade show (Sweetwater's GearFest - kind of a junior NAMM, sort of) in a couple hours and won't be back until very late Saturday night. As such, I may not be able to post again until Sunday, and if I do, it'll just be short updates.
Just a heads-up.

As long as nobody was hurt. Hope the repairs are swift.

That sucks DRA. Motherflippin trees man.
Also... did the Headmaster steal a holodeck from Star Trek, or is this happening somewhere on Agartha?
