(DCs were 15 and Jarx saved you guys on that 2nd track)
After several hours of tracking you spot a hideous tree someone has hung a bunch of dead birds from. The tracks run past the tree which also has a bunch of draconic runes that read as insane gibbersh, Sylvan markings as well.
Roll a
Failure means the enemy gets a surprise round (apologies in advance diminutive is a hellava stealth bonus)
1d20 = 8+20 = 28
1d20 = 12+20 = 32
1d20 = 4+20 = 24
1d20 = 15+20 = 35
1d20 = 9+20 = 29
Also how are you configured/positioned.
Go ahead and roll initiative I'll just go first if I get a surprise round.
(edit= oh wait beads is there everyone has checked in huzzah!)

Jarx is staying most of the time behind of Thrick, trusting on him to keep harm away from him as he usually hides somewhere and cast some spells on his enemies

Jarx the Scarred |

Fortitude: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Being stung hurt and was not pleasant for Jarx, but worst of all it started to feel oddly cold for him. Getting a bit afraid Jarx takes a single step towards Thrick and mutters to him in draconian
and with that magic began to affect Thrick do its wonders as his bodyguard began to grew in size
HP: 12/15
Spells: 0-level: *Detect Magic* *Read Magic* *Prestidigation*
Spells: 1-level: *Enlarge Person* *Magic Missile* *Shield* *Summon Monster*
Free: 5-feet step | Standard: Cast magic (Enlarge Person)

Schub |

Surprised at the appearance of the aggressive sprites Schub quickly recovers, not affected by the cold. Sending Spot at the sprite near Jarx, Schub shoots at the sprite that attacked him.
Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Spot jumps at the flying sprite and tries to bite it.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Knowledge Nature: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 to understand more about the creatures attacking.

Liam McGregor |

Huh, well, how lucky that I have a weapon long enough to reach you. Probably won't get a second chance at this, so let's make the first blow count.
Charge sp 4: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage: 1d12 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

in case i miss my turn...
Beads, knowing the flying menace will case trouble to Thrick tries to bring the little monster down to their level, as he "spits" webbing at it

Schub hit the leapord missed the jump DC sprite -3 is at 7 hp (thanks DR.) The cat that barely missed it has a proper effect as it shrieks and starts yelling in sylvan "they have a monstrous beat of a cat help"
After Sahisysha trades out weapons her sprite fires another shot before flying behind a tree attack roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 221d2 - 2 + 1d4d6 ⇒ (1) - 2 + (3, 1) = 3 stealth: 1d20 + 20 - 10 ⇒ (10) + 20 - 10 = 20

GM_Solspiral RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 32 |

Liam basically plays cricket with one of them running up and swinging the lucrene hammer with more than enough force to absolutely clobber his sprite (sprite is unconscious at -6 and will take fall damage: 2d6 - 2 ⇒ (3, 3) - 2 = 4 which put's it at -10/12 it begin bleeding on it's turn.
Sprite 2 decides that Liam is a more dangerous target and fires off a shot at him before attempting to Stealth again behind the tree (also flying an upward trajectory of another 10ft up because that hammer is nasty.) attacking liam with bow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141 + 1d4 ⇒ 1 + (1) = 2 that's a miss. Stealth: 1d20 + 20 - 10 ⇒ (13) + 20 - 10 = 23
Spite 4 bleeds -11/12
I'm going to rule bead's action against sprite 3 since it is the only non dying sprite that hasn't attempted stealth. The web attack is a hit and the entangled condition is going to stop that sprite from flying so she falls 10ft fall damage: 2d6 - 2 ⇒ (1, 2) - 2 = 1 in front of Scub landing in front of Schubs kitty who gets an AoO which I'm going to use his rolls from earlier but they miss even with the sprite being denied dex and entangled. She is at 6/10 hp and entangled.
Jarx went already on 12 so it's to sprite 3 who tries a color spray DC 12 Will save for Schub and his kitty.
Thrick you're up, then it's Round 2
Combat is going fairly smooth pacing wise, whoot.

Beads |

From the PFSRD : An entangled character who attempts to cast a spell must make a concentration check (DC 15 + spell level) or lose the spell. AAAAND casting a spell also provokes an AoO //^^\\

Schub |

Will Schub: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24 Will Spot: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
@GM I'm in RL playing pathfinder tonight, don't know if I can post, so here is my next action.
Opening her eyes after the flashing light Spot sees the gift wrapped sprite in front of her and goes all out.
Attack Spot Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 Damage Spot Bite: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Attack Spot Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Damage Spot Claw: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Attack Spot Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Damage Spot Claw: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Can Spot use her rake attack on the sprite, it’s entangled on the ground? If so
Attack Spot Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Damage Spot Claw: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Attack Spot Claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8 Damage Spot Claw: 1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
The flashing lights have no effect on Schub and he fires an arrow at the ‘Atomie’ sprite.
Are you hurt Jarx, I can heal ya!
Attack Schub: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26 Damage Schub: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Thrick attempts to savage the atomie attacking Jarx.
claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
claw: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage if all hit
claw damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
claw damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
bite damage: 1d4 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Jarx the Scarred |

Thrick, dont forget you get +2 to BOTH hit and damage, since I go BEFORE you and casted Enlarge person :), so it should be 12 / 18 / 17 and for damage 11 / 13 / 10

GM_Solspiral RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 32 |

Generously I'm going to add to Bead's action a move action (he just used standard action) to flank the atomie.
That makes 3 misses, 2 hits good job beads :P (no mercy next time)
19 damage after DR knock his little butt out.
Unless you guys have a good way to combat their flight speed and stealth the other 2 are going to high tail their tiny little butts outta there leaving you with 2 dead sprites (spot eats that other one and belches out that fey glitter) and a Koed Atomie.
That would likely end the combat, and give you a captive to interrogate.

with no map, i cant exactly see where i am. But i did say WAY at start i go with thrick to give him flanking buddy

"Hnnh, they had speed, agility and flight, but there was one thing they lacked, the ability to take a blow.
Still, I don't think I'll write a story about THIS little encounter, without making it a lot more dramatic in the retelling of course."

Jarx the Scarred |

"Ah, if we need to find something out, a small acid trip will do wonders, hehehehe" Jarx chuckling in delight as a twisted expression appreas on his face as he slowly walk towards the koed sprite
"Ah, thank you for asking son. No, I am all fine. Just a small wound although that coldness bothers me a bit. How are you? I saw one of those pesky creatures also touch you"
Acid Splash I guess will do wonders
