Male Human Cleric 1
That sounds like a good place to start, Phineas.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
Ok here are my rolls.

Male Human Cleric 1
Ok, tell me which roll for the survival is going to what tie?
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
We always just include the tying if the knot in the climb check to save time, but that's in my home games.

Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
Let's see if this makes sense since none of us here have Knowledge(engineering), I think so pulley system is out. The levitation scale has a limit else I would use that too. So no matter what happened, I'd say I tried.
The rope would be knotted to allow for easier climbing. DC 5....
NPC/PC goes down one side and then goes up the other side.
For the 1st NPC. (Aravashnial)
1st Survial Survival of 26 is to secure rope on our side.
2nd Survival Check of 11 is to secure rope around the person.
3rd Survial Check of 25 is our safety line.
For the Second NPC (Horgus)
1st Survial Survival of 8
2nd Survival Check of 21
3rd Survial Check of 14
For the 3rd NPC
1st Survial Survival 14
2nd Survival Check of 18
3rd Survial Check of 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
The Climb is for Windsworn who is going to be climbing up and down multiple times in order to unhook and hook up everyone.

Rut Roe. Which NPC falls? I really hope it's Horgus. He deserves a good bruise or seven.
Male Human (Taldan) Paladin (Oath against Fiends) 2 of Ragathiel, AC 17, touch 10, flat-footed 17 (+5 armor, +2 shield)
It looks like the elf is #1 and Horgus is #2. Is the person who falls the lady with broken leg and concussion?>
Male Human Cleric 1
There are only 3 NPCs though. Horgus, the elf and the lady.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
Elf First, then Horgus whom I suspect will kick up a fuss on the elf going first, then Anevia, the lady.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Once everyone is across, Vorshek will leave the tending of the injured to Nalun and moves ahead, peering into the tunnel and waiting for danger.
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 9
Male Human Cleric 1
So now one falls if there are only 3 NPCs right?
Male Human Cleric 1
The gods must be smiling upon your group as no one is hurt as they cross the cavern and get to the other side safely. The elf thanks whoever is responsible for their safe journey.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
Windsworn stows the rope as best as he can once they are done before rejoining the group.
male Fighter 1
Dennis will re-don his armor and take point.
Human [AC: 19 (21 small); ff 14; T:15] HP=37/37 F +2/R+9/W+2 CMD 18 Rogue (Counterfeit Mage) 4
"Nicely done! And you didn't even drop anyone."
Beltin gives Windsworn a wink.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
Windsworn looks puzzled at Beltin's words.
"If I droped someone, I might end up dropping everyone....."
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
Phineas looks down the passage...
"Lead on friend. I don't like the darkness down here."
Male Human Cleric 1
Does anyone have a light spell?
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
Not me, but I have darkvision to 60', so I don't need one usually.
Male Human Cleric 1
There are a few people who will be totally blind down here, mostly the humans.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
We should have torches with us. someone had to have bought an adventuring kit.
Edit: Vorshek has a paladin's kit, so I'm pretty sure he has torches, though if I'd thought about it when I did his gear, I would have subtracted them since he has darkvision.
Male Human Cleric 1
Would you have brought an adventuring kit to a ceremony?
Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11
I have a light spell. It functions as a torch.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Remember, Vorshek meant to leave straight from the ceremony to join the crusade. He would have brought his gear, but like I said, he wouldn't need torches because of his darkvision. I left them in the kit as an oversight.
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
I dropped them due to the weight issue. 1 torch = 1 pound = slower movement away from the front line... :)
Male Human Cleric 1
I can add what happens next when I get home.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
I Have a barbarian's kit and Windsworn carries what meagre items he has around. That includes torches too.
male Fighter 1
Dennis is poorly equipped as he was out carousing. Since he is in a city near the border of the worldwound he stays armed and armored at all times, but doesn't carry about a bunch of equipment.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Vorshek will help Dennis put his armor back on, and allow him to the same, then draw his sword and start moving down the tunnel, using his darkvision to stay alert for any dangers.
Male Human Cleric 1
The tunnel continues along a mostly southeastern course
for about 1,400 feet ( just over 18 minutes of walking at a
speed of 15 feet) before reaching a circular cavern. If the
PCs approach, the mongrels warn them that the cave
ahead is one they now rarely use, for it has become the
den of a particularly dangerous fungal creature he calls a
“spore-cougher.”
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
"Vorshek, Dennis, one of you will check it out, right?"
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Vorshek hefts his sword onto his shoulder and starts down the tunnel pathway.
I'll take point, but stay close. With any luck, this "spore cougher" won't be home.
male Fighter 1
"Great, this sounds like barrels of fun. " and he follows after the paladin.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Dennis, I am in complete agreement. This feels like a trap...
Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11
Nalun sticks close behind Vorshek ready to assist the Paladin in a fight.
Human [AC: 19 (21 small); ff 14; T:15] HP=37/37 F +2/R+9/W+2 CMD 18 Rogue (Counterfeit Mage) 4
Beltin moves cautiously.
"This thing seems dangerous." He rips strip of cloth to breathe through from his coat.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
"Windsworn be ready if you need help." as he unhooks his axe.
Male Human Cleric 1
As you enter the cave you see 2 bodies. They are clothed with the tabard of Iomodae and have a chain shirt I re-read the description.

Nalun looks to see what caused their deaths.
Male Human Cleric 1
One looks like he was beat to death and the other looks like she had been poisoned.
Male Human Cleric 1
Both men are dressed as crusaders of Iomedae,
and each still wears a masterwork chain shirt. One of the
dead bodies still carries a potion while
the other has a scroll of in a pouch. Between the
two of them, they also carry 129 gp.
They do not carry the longswords typically wielded by Iomedae’s followers, but
instead carry glaives and a spiked gauntlet. Furthermore,
the body on which the scroll was found clutches something
tightly in his fist—a small symbol of a brass bull’s head
with tiny red gemstone eyes

Kn:History: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 Nalun wonders if he knows anything about Crusaders being trapped under the caverns carrying weird idols.
Male Human Cleric 1
There are stories that Nalun remembers hearing about Crusaders been trapped underground but that was a long time ago.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Vorshek will take the idol in the man's hand, and use his knowledge of religion to identify it while he stands guard.
Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17
Male Human Cleric 1
Vorshek you recognize the holy symbol as that of the demon lord Baphomet.
male Fighter 1
Dennis will look around the room to see if he can figure out what killed them. He will leave examining the bodies to the others.
"Whatever did this has to be around here somewhere. "
perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Male Human Cleric 1
Dennis sees a large patch of mold near the Crusaders. It looks like it has been cut and squashed. This might have been responsible for their deaths.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
My friends.... This.... This idol is a symbol of a demon lord... Of Baphomet. Were these men demon worshippers? Or did they find that idol here somewhere? Can any of you tell if they did battle before they ended up here? Perhaps they acquired the idol from what they fought before they were killed...
Male Human Cleric 1
Once the bodies are identified as
Baphomet cultists, Anevia is disgusted and Aravashnial
delighted. Both have heard the rumors that the cult of
Baphomet, known to some as the Templars of the Ivory
Labyrinth, had infiltrated various mercenary groups, but
proof that at least two had been disguised as Iomedaean
crusaders is something else entirely. Anevia becomes
even more worried for her wife, while Aravashnial argues
that they should bring the bodies with them so they can
be identified by the church.Horgus doesn’t care one way or another about
the bodies.
