Male Human Cleric 1
Belt in I don't think you can reach him with daze from where you are at. He is out of your rage.
Nalun, I think Windsworn is using player knowledge.
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
Phineas can look at the items after the fight.
Male Human Gesalt Paladin (Faithful Wanderer)/Fighter (Unbreakable) 1 | HP: 13/13| AC: 17(18)/12/15(16)|Init: +2| Perc: +7| Fort: +4| Ref: +2| Will: +2| CMB: +4| CMD: 16| Falchion: +4;2d4+4| Morningstar: +4;1d8+3| Longbow +3;1d8|
Partially yes. I would have though Nalun identified them already else Windsworn would be throwing ropes at the dwarf. If the scales are not identified then Windsworn goes beneath the dwarf and does nothing. Throwing a rope is hard. If scales are not identified, my apologies GM.
Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11
I asked about them, but no one said they were for anything. GM, please assume that I cast the Detect Magic cantrip whenever we take something. I'll roll spellcraft once I've noticed something show up as magical.
Male Human Cleric 1
Let me go back and double check what the module says about them. IIRC the wording was kind of strange but let me double check.
Male Human Cleric 1
According to the description they radiate strong magic but nothing much else about the type, etc.
Human [AC: 19 (21 small); ff 14; T:15] HP=37/37 F +2/R+9/W+2 CMD 18 Rogue (Counterfeit Mage) 4
If he is higher than 30', daze won't make it. I'll cast enlarge on windsworn.
Male Slayer 8| AC 22 T 17 FF 16 | HP 73 | F +9 R +10 W +5 | Init +3 | Perc +11
Would Nalun notice anything about them in examining them. Because that was my original intent when I asked about them, I didn't figure we were saving individual scales just because.
Male Human Cleric 1
From where you are on the map, Beltin, he is out of your reach. Windsworn would be in range for the Enlarge Person.
Is there a way to show that he is bigger on the map?
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
I think I remember Nalun casting detect magic previously on the scales, I am ordering my Wednesday delivery at the moment so I don't have time to backtrack and see.
On his third turn, unless the dwarf comes down, Vorshek will hurl another chakram.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Male Human Cleric 1
On his turn, the dwarf pulls out a potion, drinks it, and disappears.
I moved the lady back and moved the dwarf pog into the rocky part just so I don't loose the pog

Vorshel should still be able to sense him via detect evil, correct?
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
"Hey, come back. We want to play more."
Mumbles "chicken"
Male Human Cleric 1
I believe that Detect Evil is Dependant upon concentration though the longer you concentrate the more you know/detect.
male Fighter 1
You can't really use detect evil to see invisibility. It detects it in a localized area. I suppose if a target is foolish enough to sit still it might work, but it takes 3 rounds to pin down a specific location in an area, and if the subject moves, you get nothing.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Yeah that's what I thought. I just meant more of general area type knowledge, like: he's to the north, or, somewhere in the south of the room
Male Human Cleric 1
From my experience alot of GMs act as if Detect Evil is a radar that people can use to fire photon torpedos.
Whose turn is it?
Male Aasimar (Emberkin) 17 HP, AC 17 (13T, 14FF), CMD 15, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +0, Perc +5, Init +3, Bombs: 4/6 Crypt Breaker Alchemist 2
I mumbled after he disappeared, so it's Beltin.
Male Demonspawn Tiefling Paladin 2 HP:18/20 AC:18/FF/16/T:12/CMD:17 / Init:2/Fort:8 Ref:5 Will:6/ Attack: +5; 2d6+7 (power attack);
Yeah, I don't want to be that guy. I'm fine with generalities when it comes to that
Male Human Cleric 1
[ooc] I saw someone throw a fit that the DM did not allow it to be a radar. The situation got ugly because the grown man threw a fit even though the rules said differently. [/b]
Beltin, you are up.

Dennis will take another look around to see if he can spot where the dwarf is hiding.

Nalun will ready his action to provide Touch of Good to whoever the evil dwarf is attacking. Touch of Good provides +1 to saves and attacks.

Vorshek will continue to concentrate on detect evil, trying to get a sense of where the dwarf is.
Male Human Cleric 1
I think it does but I can't check until later. Can you check and post what it says?

Scent (Ex)
This special quality allows a creature to detect approaching enemies, sniff out hidden foes, and track by sense of smell. Creatures with the scent ability can identify familiar odors just as humans do familiar sights.
The creature can detect opponents within 30 feet by sense of smell. If the opponent is upwind, the range increases to 60 feet; if downwind, it drops to 15 feet. Strong scents, such as smoke or rotting garbage, can be detected at twice the ranges noted above. Overpowering scents, such as skunk musk or troglodyte stench, can be detected at triple normal range.
When a creature detects a scent, the exact location of the source is not revealed—only its presence somewhere within range. The creature can take a move action to note the direction of the scent. When the creature is within 5 feet of the source, it pinpoints the source’s location.
A creature with the scent ability can follow tracks by smell, making a Wisdom (or Survival) check to find or follow a track. The typical DC for a fresh trail is 10 (no matter what kind of surface holds the scent). This DC increases or decreases depending on how strong the quarry’s odor is, the number of creatures, and the age of the trail. For each hour that the trail is cold, the DC increases by 2. The ability otherwise follows the rules for the Survival skill. Creatures tracking by scent ignore the effects of surface conditions and poor visibility.
To sum up, basically you can use it to pin a critter within 30' down to which 5' square they are in, but you still get the full concealment miss chance (50%).

Windsworn my friend, we haven't gotten smaller, Beltin just made you bigger is all. However, we need to get that dwarf down here so we can find out who he is. Anyone have any ideas?
Vorshek speaks as he pulls another chakram from his belt.

The sound of chanting can be heard as a huge creature emerges from the fire. The creature that emerges has four arms grace the torso of this towering monstrosity. Two are human and the other set end in pincers. The monster's eyes shine with a mix of intelligence and cruelty.
I told you fools!

Felt the need to explain the smite. Vorshek figures the dwarf is evil, so whatever just came out of the fire must be evil as well. Also, having arms like that kind of creeps Vorshek out. Also, I meant to roll a knowledge religion to see if I know what it is.

Windsworn, you know that this is nothing natural.
Vorshek, you know that this is something from the Abyss. Other than that you are not sure what sort of creature it is.
